Hotel Coeur Du Village

I stayed in a room located outside the property. At the time of booking, I was unaware of this fact. It’s likely my mistake, but I believe the property could have provided better information about which rooms are not connected to the hotel. Essentially, they acquired some external apartments and branded them as hotel adjacencies.

The fact that breakfast had to be taken outside was inconvenient. The beds were small and not connected, which wasn’t ideal for a couple.

There are many, many things to like about Coeur du Village. The location is central to La Thuile, within walking distance of everything including the slopes. We rented and stored our equipment right at the mountain, very convenient. Free parking close by. Excellent breakfast and dinner, with options for dinner elsewhere nearby. The family room was perfect for us and our adult son. The staff is absolutely charming. And the price was very reasonable, with a flexible cancellation policy.

In our room, we had a spring mattress. We would have preferred a memory foam mattress.

The hosts were very friendly and ensured our stay was exceptional. Dinners in the hotel were excellent. Staff was very attentive and service was great. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable.

Nothing. Even parking was convenient at beginning of June!

Everyone in the hotel were so kind and friendly. Andreas was very welcoming and provided us with loads of information on where to go and dine. Brilliant.

Lovely family run hotel, very friendly owners and beautiful rooms. Breakfast had a great selection of food and lovely coffee! Gluten free options available. Owners very happy to help book evening meals in local restaurants ( hotel restaurant was not open in April).Walk to ski gondola was about 10 mins and really handy to be able to leave skis and boots at the Gondola when you hire with Berthod Sports. Would definitely return!

Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Breakfast was good and coffee excellent, v prompt service and a pretty breakfast room. We were provided with a kettle and tea bags for the room and that was MUCH appreciated! Our room was a good size for two people with room to spread. The heating in the room and bathroom was excellent - almost too warm sometimes.

The shower was temperamental and took some getting used to although good when we got the temperature right. The furnishings such as curtains and lampshades could perhaps be a little more alpine and pretty.

The best welcome ever. Andrea and his family and staff members were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was great. Hotel was in centre of village and a short 10 minute walk to the ski lifts. Lovely restaurants nearby. We'll definitely be back.

Small (about 10 rooms), cosy hotel in a good location if you want to be away from the crowds! Ten minute stroll from the gondola. Rent a locker beneath Only ski to avoid lugging the kit back and forth.

What a wonderful place . Beautifully renovated , exceptionally friendly and helpful owners and staff . Amazing breakfast and restaurant dining . Wonderful ski area with no queues and hotel is in a great location. I am coeliac and they catered brilliantly for my gluten free needs. Thank you

The loveliest family run hotel in a great location.

Only negative was the sound proofing between rooms - common in every Alpine hotel! Just take some earplugs.

Lovely staff, clean spacious room, good location - fairly short walk to lifts. Coffee excellent!

No bar, only small communal area so had to go out to socialise with big group of friends (15). No cooked breakfast option but buffet breakfast was good
