Pros +
- The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
- Broken blinds in my room and inadequate staffing
- It’s near from center
Cons -
- The soap in the sink dispenser was not half full when I arrived, and the soap was difficult to get out of the dispenser.
- Blinds were not working in my room. I immediately called reception, and they said that somebody would be right there to look at it. An hour passed. I took photographs of the broken blinds to prove my case, and went to the front desk in person. An annoyed receptionist told me that someone would be right there to look at it. An hour later, still no one arrived. At 1:00 p.m. the following day, a maintenance guy came to my room. He apologised and said he is the only person in the entire hotel working. Unbelievable that in a large hotel, only one maintenance guy is working. The problem was finally resolved at that point, but I spent a night with broken blinds, it was like having no window in a supposedly four star hotel room. I am most upset about the fact that nobody came for 20 hours. Unacceptable.
- Reception staff are not helpful & give us a room in the ground floor It's annoying because we can hear the staff talking and moving around in the room.

Everything was perfect. The staff was kind and friendly, the rooms were clean and quiet. But the best thing was the breakfast. The breakfast was huge and offered a lot of things for everybody and everything was delicious. The shower was great and the water was hot even during very late night.
freshly pressed sheetsfantastic breakfastvery clean
Clean hotelPerfect location just near city centreParking available (for additional fee)
Super-hard bed, couldn't sleepNo lactose-free options on breakfest (except soy milk)Check-in process for about 20 minutes, only 1 receptionist
I liked the place location, just in front of the castle and right in the city center. The cleaniness was absolutely visible, toilet and allk the aller were wonderful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. And I also loved the technology of the shower glaces.
The big parking in front of the hotel, kind of breaks the nice view on the castle. I also didn't like the fake flowers to which they added some real leafs but which were all tried. I didn't like the missing privacy of the toilet.
Great location. Friendly staff. Nice room. Awesome breakfast buffet.
breakfast is great, too much to eat. All fresh. Only for the breakfast i would go back again

The location s OK. Just at the entrance of the old town
The outside parking is the first you see when arrive. But it is with reservations and they dont allow you to make U turn in the parking even. The toilettes at the reception stays locked until breakfast time, so if you wake up early and your spouse is still sleeping there is no way to clean your nose even. there is no chance to have a coffee before breakfast time, even outside, there are no bakery close to the hotel.
Location in the city center, big enough room.
Loud hall, loud doors, loud electrical switchboard in the room.
The breakfast is fantastic. There is a wide variety of food. There is an omlette station. The coffee is excellent. The location of the hotel is excellent. We had a nice view of the castle on the hill.
No complaints. We do not like to pay for parking. They were remodeling parts of the hotel, but it was not a problem.
Breakfast was amazing, clean room.
The parking was full and the parking house next to the hotel had a narrow pathway and we nearly scratched our car.
Location is perfect!
The day we checked in, our AC wasn't working at all, we called the staff about it, they said the technician can only come the next morning, we slept through the night somehow, keeping the windows open. The next day the technician checked the AC and told us it is completely dead and cant be repaired right now. Following this, we approached the reception desk to report the issue and seek assistance. Unfortunately, the female staff member at the desk was dismissive and rude. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience caused or offering a prompt solution, she told us it wasn’t the hotel's fault, and just kept telling we cant do anything. What made us really angry was, she started saying that you can keep windows open and sleep. I mean why did we even pay for an AC room?! It kind of made us feel that she hates her job and doesn't understand what customer service is. Rarely we come across 5 star hotels, who have such staff who are so incapable of having a decent discussion. After a prolonged and frustrating discussion, she eventually offered to move us to another room. However, the alternative provided was noticeably smaller than the one we had originally booked and paid for. This felt deeply unfair. We had paid in full for a larger room, yet due to a fault in the room's amenities (which is clearly not our responsibility), we were forced to downgrade without any proper compensation or apology. This experience left us feeling upset and disappointed. Not only was there a clear service failure, but the lack of accountability and the tone of communication from your staff further worsened the situation. At the end of the stay, during checkout a Male front desk associate, was nice to us and apologized for the inconvenience caused during the stay and didn't charge us for the 2 day car parking and provided that for free. All in all it was only because of the guy that we felt a little better.
Great location, and that’s about it.
I booked a room through Booking.com. My criteria were: close to the center, available parking, and breakfast included. Our stay started as badly as it gets. We arrived at the hotel’s parking entrance, where employees—clearly under a lot of stress—checked if we were on the list. They told us we were not on the list and that we should look for a parking space elsewhere. I immediately called the reception, and they told me I should have reserved the parking space, even though it is clearly stated (screenshot attached) that booking is not necessary. They blamed Booking.com for some reason, so we had to park in a nearby lot.During the check-in process, they explained that there was an event (and it was clearly visible from the staff’s demeanor which customers were more important to them), and that we could park the car in the morning for a discounted price. I would have had zero issues with that if it had been communicated in advance! They’re clearly aware that their Booking.com reservation process has some flaws, so it would be nice if they fixed that or didn’t advertise there, instead of blaming the service. We moved the car in the morning, but were advised not to leave, as they couldn’t guarantee there would be free space later—in which case, I have no idea why they told me I should have booked a parking space in advance. The rooms are okay. The bathroom’s privacy is awful, and whoever decided this was a good design probably never stayed in a hotel room before. Okay for single travelers, awful for couples or small families.Breakfast was okay, if unremarkable.Overall, awful value for money, not suited for families or couples. You might love it if you are an entitled lawyer or have a corporate event there, and the staff shows you that you’re way more important than the other hotel guests. If you love Brno, don’t let this hotel spoil your trip—it’s not worth it.
Excellent hotel!!! really excellent! staff is veeeeeery much helpful and responsive! room was very comfortable - I slept like a baby which is really rare for me in hotels. Location is wonderful. I'm travelling with a dog, so, park 5 min (even less) walk distance was/is must have for me. Breakfast in the room option - I love love love it. Again, when you're travelling with a dog - this is very much helpful.
Very good hotel. Big rooms, excellent breakfast, polite staff, excellent gym, location optimal for our needs.
