Hotel Vista

Breakfast is good and varied. Rooms are clean and comfortable. WiFi is good. Staff is really friendly.

There should be a big chair or sofa in the room. Also table is a bit small for working/playing with computer.

Double bed had two separate mattresses

Quite nice interiors design. Clean. Breakfast was nice, quite abundant offer of different products/dishes. It even seemed like the scrambled eggs were actually eggs, which is not that obvious, even in well established hotels;)Only the coffee was awful (says my wife, as I don't drink coffee).

Either it's a question of the matress or simply the size of the beds, but even though I'm not a big guy, I suffered a bit on my single bed, as it seemed pretty narrow. Almost fell of the bed a few times during the night.The 4 stars accreditation seems pretty optimistic. Yest, the hotel is nice and clean, but 4 stars? One would at least expect 1-2 mineral water bottles in the room.Maybe it was my bad luck, but it seems like the hotel is popular among orgnized groups. Sharing the hotel cafeteria with what a bus of noisy tourists is not the way one wishes to start the day with.

Bed, bathroom, and breakfast were great!

The only thing that was really good was the breakfast. A very large selection of delicious food.

This hotel needs to lose 1 star. This is the worst hotel that calls itself a 4-star. This hotel is worthy of a 3-star. The beds are terribly uncomfortable and hard. We ordered one king-size bed and received two beds with a hole in the middle. The beds are very hard and the pillows are from the Soviet Union. In the photo we ordered one thing and received another.

What I liked was that the room felt very clean & comfortable, the staff were lovely, there was good value for money, the hotel works with energy saving (aka only washes towels when needed), the hotel is near a bigger grocery store.

the kitchenette is great in terms of facility (microwave, oven, stovetop, pan and pot), but were lacking some basics like an oven dish or a knife. The staff found a knife from the kitchen to lend us, but it should be included in the room since there is a cutting biard and a kitchen. Same logic for having an oven dish if there's an oven.i would also suggest that there be an overview card for the masseuses you can book to the hotel, with a date stamp of the last known price and phone numbers, so its easier to reach and not just on the website, and also to add to those cards on a paper if they are on vacation or unavailable so guests aren't bothering them or wasting their time trying to call them, as its a bad deal for both sides. You could also add info about the sauna there, with prices, and maybe put it by the phone with a number to call reception, since they are there all the time anyway it may simplify the process of customer service.

The room was clean, the breakfast was really good, a lot of parking spaces, kids club… simply perfect

We liked everything

The rooms were big and bright, the beds were comfortable, we liked the kitchen with a fridge. The breakfast was very good.

The pillows were not comfortable and the sink in the bathroom had a moldy smell.

The front desk personnel is undermanned. It is my 3rd visit to this hotel and always I found only one person at the front desk. This hotel is targeted by large groups of people, and it takes forever to check in. Moreover the front desk personnel is not friendly to foreigners. In two ocasions from three visits to this facility, my check-in was interrupted and I was politely moved aside by the front desk lady, to serve local Czech people. In one occasion there was a group of 20 or so school childern that she felt obliged to serve instead of finishing my registration. In the other incident she struggled to find my name (I booked the room via Booking), and a copy-paste incident happen: a group of 6 Czech citizens entered and she asked me to wait in the lobby, to serve them. Not only that her attitude was non-ethical and non-professional, but she engaged in useless conversations with them after they all received their keys. In the evening we asked for help with a taxi and she spent 5 minutes typing in the PC the address where we intended to go, which is weird, since normally you call a taxi and tell the driver where to go. She asked us to wait outside 15 minutes. We waited more than 20 and when we came back to ask what happened she looked online and told us that no driver wanted to come to the hotel Vista and the trip was cancelled. We asked her to call the taxi on the phone, she did so and after talking to the taxi office, she hung up and told us that there was no taxi in Brno that would come to Hotel Vista, and we should rather take a bus. I could hardly belivee that, it was no later that 6:00 p.m. in a weekday, not weekend. We ended up calling our party that was already at the restaurant and he sent a taxi for us. He said that the story that there was not taxi available in Brno was defintely a lie. We never spoke unpolitely with the front desk lady, and her attitude towards us was probably generated by the fact that we were not local citizens.

A comfortable hotel Clean We were only there for one night everything was good. We had dinner in the restaurant twice and food was good.

The breakfast was excellent. There was a wide selection of food. The servers were nice.

Staff are just very sour and really don’t like tourists . They seem to hate their job. Food was ok but again the staff are just so rude and angry .

The bathtube was scratched like if cats were there before. It was hard to get up from it, because there is this bathtube wall that is constantly closing and also looks kinda disguisting and was too thin (shower corner would better). The showergel bottle looked like it was there 5 years. The toilet brush was broken at the handle. The pillow was too high, but for some reason i see that as standard in hotels these days. The toilet seat needs to be screwdrivered to not move
