Hotel Rakovec

The Hotel overlooks the lake. A long walk from tram or quick taxi. Very nice peaceful area. Staff most professional. Dinning room very good; 3 meals all very good and good selections for all times of day. (Note: 45 mins to down town and Train Station)

no major issues-> in the room, there was a tea kettle, and two cups but no tray and no tea bags.-> double bed consisted of two single beds

Good location. Indoor and outdoor pools are nice. Good internet signal

It is resort, room was smaller with smaller bathroom . Bed was very hard. Also house cleaning needs to improve and pay attention to the details

Hotel located near the lake. Good place to relax and walk. Have a private parking. Clean room with fridge, electric kettle. Good connection ro Brno. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good.Have a beautiful view for lake.

Lack of desk and chair to have possibility to work. Lack of lift, but reception man help us to take our stuff to the room from parking.

TV was on during breakfast - loud, regular broadcasting full of commercials. This was truly disturbing...

Nice place to stay on the way. I can't tell more as I didn't spend much time there. The breakfast was good and nice view of the lake.

For kids there is outside swming pool, ir works till 20:00.

It looked will be in a nice place near the lake, but it is just a hotel with no connection with it. Rooms are very simple, room for 3 had only 2 pillows, reception works till 20:00. Breakfast is very poor. So value for money is not worth it. There is no air conditioning, view to the lake is not visible due to trees.

Balcony rooms had lovely views.

Stairs sometimes difficult with elderly relative and small child.

Nothing outstanding - in every way. The hotel is clean, everything is as represented in the images, and we were not dissatisfied; yet, we did not leave with a desire to return. The spa is private; you must schedule a time to use it, and it is not included in the price. The breakfast is good, and you will not go hungry, but the coffee would taste better with a smile or two from the staff.

The view is Wonderful.The place is a resort, so many services within the hotel to relax and enjoy your free time.Surrounded by nature, you can go for a hike or walk around the lake.The staff were very friendly and helpful.The food in the restaurant was really delicious with good prices.

The location was great - not in the city, yet close enough that the daily commute was convenient.Restaurant, especially the evening menu was delicious.

The occasional sewage smell in the morning, unexpectedly finding the restaurant closing earlier than mentioned on the website without prior notice and inconsistency in receptionist’s service (one of them was great, but it was hard to find the other the next days when we needed something).

There was no desk to work (I had to use the panel of the window when sitting on the bed, which was anyway ok)

The hotel has good location, free parking and rooms for very good prices. Breakfast was really nice.

Our room window was oriented to terrace, luckily it was bad weather and nobody was there, otherwise people sitting on terrace would have been looking straight to our room and bed. We had dirty bedsheets with holes, there were hair under the pillow and also one towel was dirty. Restaurant kitchen closes at 8:30 PM what is a bit early.

I think it should be listed everywhere that the use of the wellness facility is for extra money and that you have to reserve time slots to use it. The use was very chaotic, they never specified at reception how to use it and that you have to ring the bell when you start using the facility. The woman responsible for it was rude when told us we should have had rang the bell. Of course it was solved easily but would have been nicer if we shouldn’t have listen to her renting about how obvious it was (everything was in cz so it wasn’t and no one told us about the process)

Nice location, good room, great Internet speed, very clean and comfortable bed and pillow.

All the TV channels were translated or spoken in the local language.Be aware if you will stay over Saturday and Sunday the Reception and the breakfast at the restaurant will be opened at 8.00!

Really nice location next to the lake, clean rooms and not so far from the city center. There is a spa too which you can go in for an extra price. It is worthwhile if you want a little swim, time to relax in the jacuzzi and time in the sauna.

We had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to check us in, but It looked like they was really busy. We also did not realise that children was allowed in the spa area. We probably would not have booked it if we knew, as screaming children running around kind of kills the relaxed vibe.

No lifts which is a disadvantage when you are travelling with small children and using a baby carriage. The breakfast offer was not very good.
