Hotel Waldinger

Our room has a bathtub I requested. This hotel has the classical decorations. I love that.

Central location, clean, parking, helpful and professional staff

Location, beds are very comfortable, breakfast is excellent.

Jacuzzi was not cleaned properly, some pieces were coming out of hydro massage units

I liked the staff, room, gym, and breakfast – excellent!

Perhaps the bathroom could offer a greater variety of personal care products, not just a universal body and hair wash—especially considering this is a 4-star hotel, and it's unrealistic to expect guests to bring things like hair conditioner for just one night. Also, if you're already providing a kettle in the room, it would be nice to include regular black coffee, not just cheap 3-in-1 options. It unnecessarily detracts from the otherwise excellent impression of the hotel.

The hotel and restaurant staff were all superb - super polite and efficient. The bedroom and common areas were beautifully presented, with lovely bedding/ towels, decor etc

The bathroom was a little disappointing compared to the quality and size of the bedroom/ suite. It is somewhat small and dated, with an old fashioned shower mixer, and awkward shower doors, with the toilet squeezed into a narrow space.

Nice location, Restaurant is very interesting and worth visiting, staff is very friendly, clean rooms, interior with special touch, good quality/price ratio

All OK (just general remarks that hotel located at relatively old building - bathroom is relatively small in size etc)

Excelent position within the centre of Osijek, easy accessible by car. Great and tasty breakfast. Comfortable breakfast and spacious room.

Reasonably well located near the centre of town. 1820s building renovated to a hotel. Original features mostly left intact. Free parking for a centrally located hotel.

No lift. Needed help carrying luggage up almost 2 flights of stairs. Air conditioning a bit iffy.

Hotel Waldinger was lovely

The breakfast was unbelievable and delicious, the staff great, the rooms comfortable and clean

We arrived late in the evening and the guy at the front desk was excellent - he spoke understandable English, was courteous, and he was efficient. The hotel building is a historical site and seemed nice. The room could have been excellent, but it was VERY HOT and there was a used napkin/tissue laying on the floor against the wall when we arrived (we left it where it was even after we departed). The breakfast the next morning was very good, and the waitress spoke comprehensible English and was very helpful choosing "local fare" for us to try. Unfortunately, I cannot add any other positive comments.

The room could have been excellent, but it was VERY HOT and there was a used napkin/tissue sitting against the wall when we arrived. Regarding the HOT: some genius decided to turn off all of the air conditioners in the hotel - I have since learned this is not uncommon practice in that area of the World, but the listing on Booking.com specifically noted air conditioning - we were not told any of this upon check-in and only learned once we had the hotel representative come to our room to explain the situation - we were not reimbursed and we were not offered anything to compensate for the discomfort and inconvenience - additionally, the hotel did not have fans, so our only option was to open the window...it was open to the air (no screen), so bugs had access to the room, plus, the room faced a very busy street, so we had the not-so-awesome experience of listening to cars squeal their tires (many, many of them - seemed to be "a thing" to do), drunk men berating their women (at the top of their lungs), and other men getting into fights until 3a (at least three separate altercations/arguments between 12:30a and 3a) - quite annoying and irritating - again, we were not reimbursed or offered any adjustments or compensation. Finally, the hotel does not have an elevator and our room was on the third floor...of course...and this fact was not advertised...of course...

Cozy room and excellent breakfast options in city centre.

Breakfast was delicious! Staff was very accommodating to our needs ie. bicycle storage.
