Thermal Hotel Mosonmagyarovar

The spa was very good. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was okay too.

The hotel is nice but is not updated or modern.

Breakfast and included Spa access was excellent. Even after check-out we received bracelets to the spa, for the last day before leaving. Reception staff was very kind, helped us with all our needs, even arranged taxi for us to Nickelsdorf. Thank you, see you next year!

no restaurant at lunch time, for dinner and breakfast buffet the place was crowded. it reminds me of the old days before the iron curtain falling. in fact hotel and rooms need a refresh - pool and thermal infrastructure old and not very well looked after tiles falling from wall (thermal pool)some staff very friendly a male receptionist as unfriendly as one can be - showing the world how bad humored he is.

The room was good, clean and comfort, view on inner yard. The breakfast was ok. The parking is in front of the hotel door, within the protected area, with the access for the wheels and at very correct price.

The view through the window was through construction equipment in front of the window.

The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was modern and well cleaned - the breakfast was delicious and well prepared. I really enjoyed my stay.

Food was mediocre. Not enough selection, felt cheap and did not have vegan or vegetarian selection.

The interior would need a bit of an upgrade, has a bit of a 90s vibe. Breakfast also needs upgrade.

Hotel is connected to the main entrance to the thermal spa so it is extremely convenient. Centre of the town is a short walk away if you want to go for a walk or for food. There are also some small shops and a restaurant nearby. Double/twin room is standard size if not slightly bigger, bathroom the same. Making use of sauna, jacuzzi or a salt cave was already included if visiting the thermal spa isn't enough or you crave a little change. Food was sufficient and tasty. Beds comfortable. We had a great time for a few days!

Huge disappointment

Unpleasant staff, outdated and dirty amenities, short opening hours of wellness, even the accommodation price is extreme you still need to pay 3 EUR for one night parking, very limited choice for both breakfast as well as for dinner, in one of the meals for dinner we found a piece of metal (probably from a steel wool), the salt and pepper dispensers and holder disgustingly dirty, the same goes for the shower hose, really terrible experience. During this holiday we stayed in 5 hotels, this one was the most expensive yet by far the worst in quality.

We really enjoyed our stay, The breakfasts were nice, and the bed was very comfy. Unlimited access to all the pools. We appreciated the fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. We also enjoyed the large balcony where we spent lots of time relaxing.

The spa is located in a small town, it is just ready for relaxation and rest. They were just undergoing a small remodel (part of the back indoor spa pool), but that didn't hinder the spa's operation in any way. As a family, we were very satisfied with the pools and the number of sunbeds by the pools.For breakfast delicious pastries.

Maybe just a repetitive breakfast, nothing new for breakfast, the same every day.

Lunch close too early

The pool was nice.

Our room was above the restaurant/staff room. The staff was extremely noisy every day starting 5AM until 7 AM when the breakfast started. The bathroom was full of cigarettes' smoke coming from the air vent. For 150 euro/night I would expect more respect from the front desk when I was complaining about the noise. We stayed 4 nights and we woke up every morning at 5AM due to their carelessness. The breakfast was poor.

The rooms were very clean. The staff was generally friendly. It met my general expectation.

I was hoping that parking would be free when I paid for the room, but I paid an additional fee. I think that parking should be free for people staying at the hotel.

Nice and clean room, comfortable beds, fridge, spacious bathroom, friendly staff. Especially Mr. Bence at the reception was very kind and extremely helpful. We will gladly come back.

It would be nice to have a broader variety of vegetarian and especially vegan options for breakfast and dinner.

The staff was very friendly. All our requests were handled in an uncomplicated and helpful manner.

The only thing that could be improved is the connection to the spa. You have to go outside to get there, so in winter this is a little bit chilly when wearing just a bathrobe...
