Safranberg Hotel & Sauna

Nice hotel near the city center if Ulm. Quiet area and tasteful interior. Cozy rooms. They were quite small as well as the shower but it didn’t bother us. Parking was possible in the garage free of charge which we appreciated a lot. Sauna free of charge. Hotel is pet-friendly. Very nice staff. Great breakfast.

Just minor things: no real area to relax after the sauna, only one chair, a wooden bench and two lounge chairs. So with 4 guests the sauna are is already “occupied. Still enjoyed the sauna. In the room: Shower floor a little slippery and no handle which might help especially elderly people and nowhere to put your shower gel during the shower.

The room was a bit small.

The breakfast was amazing, the room is cozy and beautiful too. We can get out to a small garden. The location is also nice with a parking place included, you can go to the center by bus or walk.

I'm not sure if it's a common thing, but there wasn't cold water from tab on the day of our stay. My boyfriend was turned into a cooked lobster after shower, kind of funny but indeed unexpected.

The location is great, 10 minutes away from the city centre by bus. The hotel staff very nice and welcoming, pet-friendly, the breakfast is really tasty. There are 5-6 parking spots that belong to the hotel and can park for free.

I found the pet fee (15€ / night) a bit high, even if we didn't request any room cleaning during our stay. There was a bit of dust on the floor and under the bed.

We stayed at the hotel for the second time and really enjoyed it. We really like the manager; she greets us very kindly and professionally.Always a great holiday in a beautiful and peaceful place.

Sauna was already shutdown, and we arrived late. But they gladly turned it on and prepared only for us

The breakfast was excellent. Room was small, especially the bathroom.

Distance from attractions and city centre. Pretty expensive for what was on offer.

The staff were so helpful, even going as far as helping us by making sure our cars didn’t ground out when we chose to park them in the underground car park. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Sadly our stay wasn’t long enough to make use of the sauna.

The shower cubicle in the bathroom was quite small and awkward, but perfectly functional. The carpet in the communal area on our floor was lifting just outside the lift.

Very welcoming staff! We really enjoyed our stay, it was clean, comfortable, with an excellent breakfast. The hotel itself is so quaint,we really liked it.

Exceptionally friendly evening staff – truly fantastic and welcoming!Morning staff, however, felt less approachable and a bit difficult to communicate with.Free and easy parking.Breakfast was great – everything you need to start the day.unfortunately, there are no good restaurants nearby.Internet connection was quite slow.

Courteous staff

Awful position for parking Room too hot (no air conditioning in summer!). Found eventually a fan but it wasn’t enough to cool the room. Tap water was only hot (!)

Located about 20 min by foot from the center and easily accessible. The zoo is also close, about 15 min away.Breakfast was very good, no complaints there.We saw a common kitchen on the first floor, probably for those that want to prepare meals for themselves?

Maybe the bathroom was a bit small, considering we were in a family room.
