Decent for 3 start family run business. Amazing staff very kind and helpful and welcoming and accommodating.

We had a fantastic stay at Ulmer Stuben! The hotel is just a short walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. Its central location means you're close to everything Ulm has to offer — from the majestic Ulm Minster to charming cafes and shops. The room and bathroom were absolutely spotless, reflecting the high standards of cleanliness. Each morning started with a delicious buffet breakfast offering a wide variety of fresh and tasty options — a real highlight of the stay.
Cheap, clean, good location, well-equipped.
Bit basic but for 50 quid a night, that's to be expected.
Great value for money. Nothing fancy but very clean , comfy beds and spacious room. Staff were very friendly.
A little noisy facing a main route into the city.
Friendly reception, room on the top floor as requested, warm, comfy bed, nice bathroom, Lift WiFi parking in the garage under the hotel.
Initially I was given the room on the first floor with the window looking onto the some sort of patio. Not my idea of privacy, so I reminded the reception of my top floor wishes and got one immediately. Free parking in front of the hotel was taken and garage access is a bit difficult to navigate, but I managed it in the end.
Location good, close to city and HBF.
We arrived late and left early, so did not have the opportunity to report the following to the staff (who, on arrival were very pleasant and attentive). The hot water in the bathroom (shower) was scorching hot (too hot to use), as was the water in the sink (insofar as, it was not possible to use the cold tap to cool it down - it was stuck). As I say, I couldn’t report this to the staff so I don’t want this to influence any further bookings. One more thing - we booked a “twin room” but the bee was basically a double bed with two single mattresses in the bed frame, so perhaps not ideal if you are staying overnight with a work colleague (or a grumpy teenager!)
Location is excellent, close to the city and the river
It was warm. We missed the Air conditioning and a little fridge
Car parking straight outside the hotel was excellent Ideally located for a walk into Ulm to local bars, restaurants, historical town and the River Danube water side Staff very friendly and knowledgeable and greeted with two bottles of free beer on arrival...a very nice touch and very welcome after a long journey
The room was very near to a local busy main road and railway station so was kept awake during the night We were there during the recent 38 degrees heat wave and there was no air conditioning and the room had two lots of ear plugs supplied and we quickly realized why the both the beer and ear plugs were there to help you sleep through the very noisy night which was a real shame
Good location, clean spacious room, value for money. However the train station is nearby so that might wake you up in the night but the staff is super nice and provides earplugs (&Haribo candy
Very friendly staff on reception. I arrived early morning on the night train from Slovenia, and although officially I was not expected to check in for hours, they allowed me to check in as soon as the room was done, and made me a free coffee while I waited. Later, they printed out an opera ticket for me too. Quite good value and quite good location not far from the station and an easy walk from the Minster. Breakfast cheaper than in many German hotels at 10 euros.
In a slightly melancholy corner of town on a main road. Room was no more than functional. It's a shame no kettle or teabags were provided in the room; apart from the free coffee I got on arrival, you do actually have to go downstairs and pay cafe prices for coffee if you want one. Breakfast was not especially varied (though, as I say, pretty cheap!).
Very friendly staff Good food Very clean
Shower hose split Very noisy location
Nice architecture and location. Breakfast was add-on and very reasonable. It was a good German Breakfast. Everything worked, incl. the Lift.
The room faced the afternoon sun, and this resulted in a very hot room. With Gobal Warming going to stay it is imperative for the installation of an air-conditioner.I reported twice that the toilet seat was very loose. But no action was taken.
Clean and reasonably comfortable.
I appear to have got the last resort room. It was described as en suite but in reality the toilet and bathroom were outside in the corridor. That might be a private bathroom as stated, but it is not en suite. I feel that should have been made clear in the description. In addition, it was on the top floor, so it was very hot a lot of the time and noisy with the window open. The curtain was so thin that the sun came bursting in each morning or illuminated my room for the people in the flats opposite if I had the light on at night. There was a metal shutter but I couldn't get that to work
Extremely nice and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The hotel is in easy walking distance to Ulm Innenstadt and also Neu Ulm. The elevator worked well.
My only comment is that the train line is very near and the noise might bother some. But not a problem with the room windows closed, and it did not bother me at all.
The room was cosy and had all necessary items. The key-based entry worked well. Indeed, the place is very good for a jogging run in the morning, it is on a very quiet place, however, the entire Ulm is quiet... So, also easily reachable by walk from the train station, liked it very much. The kitchen is very good and exceeded my expectations, we had an event for many days on the site and it was very good.
Oh, there was one thing, there was renovation behind the building and it would have been fair to tell us as large group holding a meeting that there might be hours with noise from the constructions work. I recommend to direct the smells from the kitchen a bit away from the entrance, it smells good, but if you encounter it first you thing you think you enter the very kitchen although you enter the lobby ;-), maybe it is my nose ;-). Indeed, a nice place by the way, all insignificant shortcomings in view that you do not leave your money to some international chain but to ahard working family.
Comfortable and good location. Near Lidel for food shopping
The shower cubicle is something to be careful of. There are things poking out of the wall that are almost eye height.
Very clean, good value for money, friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing. Everything was good.
