Rooms clean and modern. Wifi excellent. Location excellent, not far from train station and town centre. Complimentary water to drink in the rooms.

Breakfast wasn't up to much, the basics but no hot food. Room was too hot, but fine once you left the window open during the day, you have to close it at night because of noise, but they are very sound proof. Lift was also not working for most of my stay which didn't really bother me as on 2nd floor at the time, but if I had been on the top floor would have had plenty of exercise! Missing the personal touch a little bit as check in and check out was self service but advantage is speed also I suppose.

Exactly what i needed for a 1 night stay. Clean, modern, near station. Good value.

The hotel is just 5min away from the main train station and the lady at the reception was very kind.No need to check-out in the morning was comfortable.

The accommodation was surprisingly dirty. There were hairs on the floor around WC (yes, hairs), nails on the carpet around the bed, and the shampoo dispenser was dirty. There are no doors to the bathroom which is right across a huge window - there are curtains on the window and the shower door is slightly tinted, but it still feels uncomfortable at night. The bathroom also smelled very damp even before I showered and it got even worse after. Since the bathroom cannot be closed and it's right next to the bed it was unpleasant.The door to the WC (toilet) is shared with a door to the closet, which also feels unsanitary (it is a sliding door which either closes the closet or the toilet - whenever one is closed the other is open). I wouldn't mind that as much if the rest of the room was clean though.

The location is good.

The room had a smell of rotten banana’s. Also breakfast was terrible. The only hot food was boiled eggs. They charge an extra 11 euros for this and was not worth it. I stayed here a few years ago under the IBIS styles brand and was much better.

Hotel is few min from the train station

The service is awful. Have you ever seen a hotel that doesn't provide an iron or an ironing room? This is the one. But what's more disgusting: after the reception says "we don't have an iron", you see one standing in their staff room.

Very poor air conditioning for all our stay. Lot of renovation work. Breakfast choice not very good.

Good location, good staff

Room was much too hot. Suffered badly because too hot to sleep. Yes weather was hot but good air con needed all night for that money.

The room set generally clean and the staff welcoming.

The air conditioning in the room was not working correctly and as the weather was hot it was impossible to get a good nights sleep.

Location is superb, just a 5 minute walk from the train station and in the town.Good breakfast.Really clean public areas and bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely comfy beds with clean sheets and towels.

The only thing we fault it on was that the air conditioning wasn't working and in the heat wave all our rooms were pretty unbearable.

Parking was not accessible, Hotel did not inform us in advance. Room service stormed in the room in the morning, even though it was our check out day.

Air condition did not work. Big udge insects on dining room floor.Restrooms in ground floor dirty.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was always kind and helpful.

The shower drain backed up and water overflowed onto the vanity floor. I had to "dam up" the shower door with towels.

Breakfast was not much but sufficent and good. The rooms were small but it was OK. Very good location, close to the train station and city centre.

Family with kids should take caution about the full length windows. The toilet door in the room is a sliding door so it does not close tight. The air conditioning did not work in the room, really warm in summer. The switches were sticky in the room, not sure if it is due to some cleaning solution, didnt dare to think too much.

bed was comfortable. Great location near the train station and close to city center and restaurants.

cheap breakfast. very basic. the desk in the room was very small, it was not comfortable. Desk lamp wrongly placed, always need to move coffee/tea stuff to make space for my labtop. It was way overpriced for the service received (313 EUR for 2 nights).

don’t park beneath the hotel it’s very difficult to get out without a scratch to your car. breakfast was very minimal with hard bread

close to Hauptbahnhof and so many restaurants, right in the city center

the toilet is separated from the showers, door using long code, breakfast super standard

Rooms are clean, neat and functional. Staff is always polite, friendly and helpful. Location is great for central Aalen, central yet quiet.

Breakfast is a downgrade vs previous brand (Ibis) and I always find parking unnecessarily stressful. Personally always enjoy a 1.80 bed more than a 1.60.
