Hotel Donauhof

The breakfast was AMAZING. Honestly would stay there again just for the breakfast.

Room was very dated and dark.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was above the street with a nice view of the Donau. Very quiet, did not hear any noise from traffic or other guests. Bathroom was very clean and spacious.

Restaurant not open for dinner. Had to walk some distance for a nice sit down dinner.

The room needed a kettle and tea and coffee. This would have been an improvement for 2 tired cyclists.

Great place to stay while cycling with a lock up garage for bikes. Amazing breakfast and very comfortable rooms. Short walk to the town centre.

Overall, we were very pleased with the Hotel Donauhof. The hotel was primarily selected because of its proximity to the person we were visiting in nearby Fischerdorf, Germany, but were pleased that the room was large, clean and had a nice bathroom. Parking was free, but was challenging on the weekend (see more below).

We were never unable to find parking, but the parking around the hotel was very limited. There was an ample amount of on street parking available, but that leaves a great deal of uncertainty for the guest.

All good, considering the price.Breakfast perfect.

It's better that the reception to speak English for non-German guests.

Super hotel!! Everything was great...Location not far from town, historic building nicely decorated, very large bedrooms and shower area, comfortable bed, quiet room, very sufficient lightning in the room and very clean! The breakfast buffet is fantastic! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Spacious room, well equipped. The breakfast was varied, very good, organized in a special, uncluttered ambient space. Hotel located close to the center, but also close to the highway entrance.

Restaurant wasn’t open despite information online. There weren’t any snacks nor water in the room either.

24h check-in. Friendly reception and breakfast/restaurant staff.Rooms were large, a little outdated, but comfortable. Breakfast was incredible. One of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel. Also, super afforadable.

Parking was limited but street parking in the neighbourhood is available.

The location was great, really close to the town center.The room was OK and the bathroom small but adequate.Breakfast was great as well. There was the usual selection of rolls and bread, jam, cold cuts, smoked salmon, cheese, and you can make fresh orange juice with a juicer, and there was the option make a vegetable juice with one of those grinders type juicers.

Noises from traffic and from other rooms.Maybe more expensive rooms are better but we booked it few hours before we come so we took remaining room...

The staff were very helpful; our room wasn't ready but we could drop off our bags and do some sightseeing in the nearby old city centre. The room was spacious and although the bathroom was small, it had everything we needed including a tub in addition to the shower. Breakfast was very good, lots of variety!!Secure bike storage as well. Great location for cycling the Donauweg/Danube.
