Pros +
- Most of the staff was super friendly and kind too. They were accommodating with the language barrier, using Google translate when needed. The room was super nice and AC was working as needed which is not to be taken for granted in Italy! The pool was clean and almost Private to us as they were no other guests in the property
- The grounds and pool was nice, the villa was not bad.. breakfast okay. Staff nice ..
- Very plesent and hospitable staff! Our diner was very good, the house is both authentic and comfortable.
Cons -
- The location has v less lighting so be careful when you check in - might look like haunted area. The most annoying thing however was out checkout process where a new staff member appeared and charged us for some surprising breakfast elements (which was not informed to us in the morning). While the confusion and conversation makes sense but he used racist comments and was creating fuss over tiny things like reservation made online and being late for checkout (when we agreed on late checkout already the previous day with another kind staff). It was a pity that a lovely time was ended with this irking experience. He shouldn't have used racist comments in Italian - which we understood after being in Italy for 10 days - which I guess he didn't expect!!
- We had one thing after another - we had just a few days to relax and it was not relaxing for us. The entrance is awkward and you have to roll your luggage over tiny pebbles. First day our fridge wasn’t working and tv wasn’t working, then second day our toilet wasn’t working, they said they were fully booked and we couldn’t switch rooms, but then one hour later asked us to switch rooms - to a smaller room that wasn’t properly cleaned. Leftover fruit and opened wine from previous guest. There was no bin to throw trash, we asked them for one and the young man at the desk said he would come collect the garbage and bring us a bin - nothing. Then we reminded them again in the evening and the older gentleman working apologized and brought it. Then once more the fridge didn’t work. It was just too much … with two small kids. I would never book again for the price we paid. They tried to compensate when we checked out by offering a cheap sparking rose, but to be honest… was too little too late. The villa was once beautiful - but is now rundown. Mold in showers etc
- The shower to be improved with a different shower head

Nice and quiet location, large and comfortable room. The bathroom is large and clean Nice food at the restaurant Very good value for money
The shower to be improved with a different shower head
Very special property feels like home great restaurant Close to highway
WiFi internet reception in rooms
No hot food for breakfast all kitchen staff on holiday. No restaurant no bar.
Not being advised when booking that there was no restaurant no bar.
Beautiful hotel and beuatiful ambient. We have been there last weekend, family weekend - 5 of us. Unfortunately, there was some rain ,so kids didn't use the pool. The breakfast was delicious. The staff is very kind, polite and unobtrusive. Hopefully, we will come back.
Beautiful place. Very quiet. Excellent night of sleep. Welcoming staff and very friendly.. The restaurant was closed but we drove to a small village nearby Soave, and it's within castle city walls which was an unexpected beautiful visit.
The shower is a bit small but worked well. Good water pressure.
Peacefull, calm, quiet and relaxing. Great restaurant
A little too far away fro everything
close to highway, lovely and helpful stuff, very good food and room nice and comfortable. Will be back.
Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Car Park dusty. All notices were in Italian, so had to ask staff times for dinner, locaton etc. Also room menu was in Italian, an Englsh translation would have been helpful. But staff were always ready to help.
as noted above.
Location & our-door space + pool was amazing. Great location & quick access to motorway.
Didn't realise the restaurant was closed on Monday, the hotel should notify guests of this at the time of confirming the booking.
Room was very spacious and nice park outside.
We had bad luck that upon our arrival the pool was empty and the restaurant closed (seems it's always closed on Monday). The rooms are spacious but (at least for us) had a very unpleasant smell of old, damp fabrics. In fact it seems the whole house has a problem with dampness. The park of the hotel is nice but the area around is rather industrial. In our opinion due to location next to the highway the hotel is more a motel where you just stay for the night on a long trip, but for that it's way overpriced. For us it would not be a nice place to spend few days or afternoons/evenings at. We will not return there.
- The bedroom was beautifully decorated - Confortable bed - The restaurant looked like a movie decor - The breakfast was fresh and diversified - Everybody was so welcoming and helpful - Super clean- The bathroom was amazingly big and luxuriousThere are few details that you could only find in a 5 stars hotel which I loved
- There were a party one of the evening we came. The music stopped around midnight. Just check before you come and that's alright.- Restaurant closed on sundays - A bit far from everything, the car is always necessary
Charming countryside hotel really worth the name “relais” with spacious rooms, friendly stuff and the possibility to relax
Great location and nice small hotel with beautiful surroundings.
When we arrived, it seemed like no one was around. We checked into our room and went down to the pool which seemed abandoned. There was a bar, but no one was there. We had to go ask for a drink, but then were immediately served some cold refreshments and some snacks by a very kind person. In the evening we dined in a separated room inside, since there was a class reunion party of some sort outside. The food was exceptionally good. After we went back to the room, there was loud music from the party downstairs until about 0:30am, which was quite annoying. However, we slept well when they turned it down. Breakfast was quite good, for Italian standards. All in all, it was a decent stay, and the staff were trying their best.
Loud noise/party. No eating outside (because it was too cold, they said, even though the party was outside). Very beautiful house and surroundings, but it's not kept very well in all instances. Pool cleaning robot doing its job during a sunny afternoon. Empty beer cans and ashtrays on the tables in the garden. Used towels lying around on the sunbeds etc.
Absolutely wonderful staff, airco was a bit struggling rest was great and a wonderful, beautiful hotel
Perfect Place to stay and not too far from the airport if you have a car
Staff gentile e professionale!
