Excellent location, very friendly staff

It was traditional with a western twist, a lot of options in all aspects

It was unfortunate that it was under construction and you couldn’t see it’s true beauty but overall I think it’s a great place to stay and in the center of everything….the pool was awesome ?

Breakfast was mediocre, and their only egg option was hard boiled.

Walls in the room were dirty. Fridge inside was stained and looked like red sauce spaghetti Tupperware. Room was dark and lighting didn’t help.

Inside everything is from the communism time and extremely old and smelly

Location TOP

Large, comfortable room in the heart of Tirana. Walking distance to many attractions with parking available - a plus because traffic and parking in the city can be a nightmare. The breakfast buffet was huge, lots of options with everything fresh and delicious.

Construction, noise and dust-- but hopefully that will be over soon.

There was construction work inside the hotel, and it was extremely noisy — loud drilling early in the morning and a lot of mess everywhere.

The Location only

It's like hotel is in the war, heavy constructions. NO life safety . How they keep that hotel open in Tirana - I'm shocked. I asked to cancel it they did not accept without payment.

Nice hotel due to location and quality of the room. The room was spacious and had hardwood floors. The breakfast was okay. The staff were Amazingly helpful

The AC was not good and the location is under external renovation so expect noise and workers passing by the windows during daytime. It may be a few months from my review for the construction to finish. Also the bathroom for both our rooms had a bad scent of old fungy rugs, could be from the mops that they use.

A lil construction come 9 am but not bad as i left for work for 8am.

The place is old but it’s getting renovated. It will be at par with 5 star hotels nearby once completed.

the sauna area, noise in the square nearby at night from loud music, the lobby seemed impersonal and cold

The location is great, we used to come here very often.

It is under construction. The parking area is dark and there’s rubbish and cables lying around. Do not come here while it is still under construction as there is scaffolding everywhere.Breakfast items were stale. Apart from the eggs, nothing seemed fresh.

Property is under construction and sorrounded with scaffolding.I did not see that fact during booking the property otherwise I would not pay 232 euros for one night for 3 persons.No elevator access to parking due to construction, but staff takes and brings back your car.

Our stay at MAK Albania Hotel was disappointing. We specifically requested a quiet room, but not only was our request ignored, we didn’t receive any response at all.The room itself was spacious and clean, but the view from the window was unpleasant, as it overlooked construction scaffolding.The food was far below expectations for a five-star hotel. When I asked for some fresh pastries, the staff member at the door simply pointed to damaged croissants. The cake was not fresh and remained uneaten.On the positive side, parking was free, and the staff in charge of it were very helpful. The check-in and check-out process was smooth.Overall, I expected much better service and dining quality from a hotel of this rating.
