Pros +
- The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very big but our friends had a smaller room, but other than size both were clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good choice of options and is well recommend.
- This hotel is right off the subway so it was easy to get to. It’s clean and updated. It has a good breakfast and is within walking distance of the Christmas markets.
- We came to Nuremberg to go to the Christmas Markets and chose this hotel for it's location and the included breakfast. The hotel was close to the train station and within walking distance to the markets. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was good with a really good assortment of fresh items.
Cons -
- Not much. It was very cold at that time of year and during the afternoon the heating was turned down. As our room was big, it got fairly cool. There isn’t a restaurant for even meals so you have to go out to eat and you need to be reasonably mobile to do so - especially walking to any restaurants. Having said that, the underground was very close and convenient to the hotel.
- Nothing this is a good property.
- This isn't the fault of the hotel but I wish I could have paid the city tax at the time of booking. We travelled to different cities and each tax amount was different. Even knowing what the amount would have been could have been helpful.

Great location, excellent clean room, heated flooring in the bathrooms was just so nice and the best breakfast we have had in days.
Central location, modern rooms
Not enough hotel parking
Location was excellent, ten minutes walking from train station and very close to the city center. Very safe and nice. And the breakfast was a surprise: excellent, everything homemade and very nicely served.
Overall price and room quality
- the pillow was wayy too soft and flat- cleaning staff occupied the elevator during the rush hour- only staircase from the ground to the elevator
Both morning and evening staff were helpful, warm, and courteous. Breakfast was tasty, filling and had a variety of choices.
Location and room for family of 4
Carpets in the bedroom
Large selection of breakfast foods all well prepared.Staff was present and helpful.
Can’t think of anything. It was a 10!
Everything was fine, extremely comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Reasonably central location.

I love my stay in Hotel Prinzregent. Alex is the best! It’s my first time visiting Nuremberg and he is very helpful and very knowledgeable in recommending places I must experience and go to. He has an amazing presence at the reception which makes you feel truly welcomed …Angie is amazing in making sure I had the warmth of home and cleanliness in my room as soon as I go back from a long happy day exploring the Old Town. And the breakfast is super delicious. I didn’t know German food could be that delightful to the mouth and to my heart ( their version of the humus is my favorite, it brought warmth and tenderness to my heart, literally..the servers at the breakfast are good too .I felt happy and grateful learning how to use the plate for eggs , it’s my first time seeing it and the lady server taught me how to use it when I felt curious and asked her about it
I super liked and loved my stay in Hotel Prinzregent

The room was a good size with high ceilings, large windows and a pleasant outlook. Very close to the UBahn. It was an easy commute from Nuremberg main station. A sign to the hotel as we exited the UBahn was most welcome. The breakfast buffet had everything we needed and more and was constantly replenished. The location had convenient access to the Old Town but was very quiet.
A wide variety of breakfast items and good coffee. The proximity to Old Town is fabulous - only a block away.
Great staff and very clean hotel. Very nice breakfast.
The walls were a bit thin, you could hear your neighbor talking at times.
My husband enjoyed the fan and ability to open the windows. Very comfortable and the breakfast was nice.
Size, location, breakfast and friendly staff
absolutely beautiful hotel, I love the rooms, we had a king size room with two cots that were so comfortable, we will definitely book Hotel Prinzregent again! Everything was within walking distance to the town center and the train. What a beautiful spot!
The entrance wasn’t clear—we weren’t sure if we were in the right spot. everything else was perfect!
Nice location for exploring the Old Town (about 15 minute walk). 100 metres away from Whorder Wiese U-Bahn station, a ten minute ride from there to / from airport. Breakfast was great, good choice and very nicely prepared, many homemade items, the croissants were especially good.
I stayed during a heatwave and there was no air-con in the room, although there was a very good quality fan.
