Avenue Hotel

Very good position in the centre of the city. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable rooms with minibar.

The hotel is within a building and the logistics to access are not simple: the main door is inside a small alley and then reception is on the first floor. Our room was actually on the ground level and there was noise in the street over the night.There are several opportunities for public parking nearby, but being in the centre of the city it seems likely that all is busy. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and there was not a single parking space available, I finally found a place in a residential area 12 min walking distance after seaching around for 30 min.

Everything was perfect. From the comfortable bed to the excellent breakfast. The location was close to everything and the staff was very accommodating

The shower faucets would not mind a modernization.

The staff and the owner of the hotel where very nice, polite had a good discusion with them and served an amazing breakfast. They will help you out with information or any issue you can contact them and they will do their beat to sort it out.

My second visit to this hotel, it could use some remodelling according to some people but I think the place is charming and the staff is so helpful and sweet. The pillows are made of material so it suits all the allergics one as well and if you don't like that kind they have others to choose from. If the madrass is to hard/soft you simple adjust this by yourself according to instructions in the room. A well filled minibar.Its located in the centre so outside it can be noisy on the weekens so if you are sensitive you may need earplugs. I will stay there next time as well.

You can not be handicapped if you want to stay there, its like small steps everywhere. Charming but not suitable for wheelchairs.

Lack of parking

Great location in the old city, and quiet room overlooking quaint rooftops. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good value. Has a lift which was helpful.

I stayed one night only, the location is perfect, very close to the Ubahn, to the Altstadt and to commercial touristic area. Breakfast was excellent and staff very nice, bed and bathroom comfy

The whole building inside reeks of cigarettes. Even if on every possible surface there are no smoking stickers. Even for me as a smoker it was unbearable.Our room door had a problem with the lock.

I stay there last year during the Christmas Markets. Awesome people and they even upgraded my room. That is my go to hotel when visiting Nuremberg. The Christmas Markets are just around the corner! Rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds and the breakfast ? is fantastic with lots of choices. Thanks again for a great time see you next year ??

Location is amazing, easy access to main train station, airport and Christmas markets.Staff are wonderful and very helpful, handled the minor issues i had very efficiently and solved them very quickly which made my stay enjoyable

Location

The room smelled like a dirty gum locker room, very bad odor, no air con or heat control, stained/discolored bedding, dim lighting, out of date facilities, noisy. They posted "hypoallergenic room", but had old poor quality feather products in room. Completely misrepresented the room on the advertisement.

They offer a great breakfast with wide variety of foods options, love it. The room we occupy is spacious. The hotel is conveniently located in the city, a walking distance from the shopping center and key tourist attractions.

Bed wasn’t the most comfortable Was a lot noise from the street but they supply ear plugs and I still slept ok

Our room was spotless, location ideal to travel to various locations. Good variety for breakfast to set you up for your day. Staff friendly and helpful.

This is just my own preference but would have preferred to have kettle, tea and coffee within our room.
