Pros +
- Central location. Big rooms. Friendly staff.
- Perfect location. Quiet area very close to the Old Town. Big room. Comfortable bed.Pleasant and helpful staff.Parking on site.Dogs accepted (10 Euros charge).
- Good location next to bio shop and close to the castle. Spacious underground parking. There is a check-out terminal on entrance when you happen to not meet anyone at the reception.
Cons -
- Bit dated but it was great.
- Everything in the hotel a bit tired, but still very acceptable. Parking expensive at 16 Euros, but I was lucky to find a free street parking space.
- The upper rooms appear to be converted from some vintage residential area, hence the cool antique looks which one might love whilst other hate. Unfortunately bathroom is the weakest point, unusable from my perspective due to cold hazard at time of visit. There was no response on this in my booking platform message; maybe management does not understand English ;-)

Room was large by European standards. Price was great except for breakfast but there is a Bio store next door at which on can get coffee and a variety of danishes etc. Location is just north of the old city and uphill which might be hard on people who can't walk uphill. Shower was good.
Elevator did not go from lobby to the 4th floor directly but it was no big deal.
Horrible experience
Noisy! Starts at 5.30 am. Rooms were not updated for a very long time. Actually disgusting. Breakfast terrible.
Wide room and bathroom, refrigirator at room
We opened the heating system, old style furnitures
The best place to stay in Nuremberg for me. I have been here for several times and everything was perfect. Nice people, fantastic breakfast, very good quality for a good price.
Good location, close to the city center.Nice rooms.
The room for luggages is a bad joke, a tiny space for a hotel of medium size. The personnel is cold and not welkoming at all.The furniture would need a little bit reparing.
Location
It was too old, not worth the price. Staff were not friendly. Not delivering what was promised
cheap place next to the castle, the room was warm!!! extremely rare in Germany since the north stream "failure"
Everything was super. Very dog friendly. Nice and clean room with unusual furniture. As it was Christmas week, they served free Gluhwine in reception
Poor
the minimum things you find in any hotel couldnt find it here unfortunately, no shampoo, no slippers..... the hotel has a weird smell....
Location was perfect for our needs on this trip. The room was quite large and very quiet.
Lack of ice machine as mini bar frig doesn’t keep anything cold.
The rooms were clean, and we really appreciated that we could bring our dog along. The extra charges for the parking garage and the dog were reasonable.
The rooms have a rather old-fashioned style, and the bathroom could have been nicer. Still, it’s a great place for a short stay.
The location is superb, the room was huge and clean. I had everything I needed.
Everything is old (but generally well-maintained) in the room. The TV only had the free German channels, no internet connection.
EBL next door, near U3 and Strassenbahn
Better bed and better pillows.
Very big room, with comfortable beds. Equipped with kettle and teas and coffe. Close to the castle. Quiet and with free parking in the street.
The furniture is a bit old.
The location is top. One can walk to Christkindlesmarkt and Kaiserburg. An Ubahn station is also 3-5 min away. And a bio market directly next to the hotel. Breakfast selection is ok.
Rooms are very standard and hotel infrastructure is outdated. Breakfast room was full so that it was not to easy to find a seat. My husband and I have been between 12th and 14th December there. Maybe it is at the time normal.
Big room, quiet area, within walking distance from the old town.
The hotel is in a good location, easy to find. The room is cozy, everything is clean, everything you need for your stay is there. We stayed one night and moved on, this hotel met our needs and was good for the price we paid.
Problematic with street parking, but we were lucky to find a free space on the street near the hotel.
