Melter Hotel & Apartments - a Neighborhood Hotel

It is in a wonderful location for easily walking all around the city! The front desk went above and beyond to make sure our check in was smooth - thank you Fabiana!

Room was really big with a table for breakfast (German traditional), which was very good. The property is very clean, attractive, close to the city center, and a short walk to parking.

Zero complaints.

Great location in the walled city. Lovely room including a basic kitchen for simple cooking. Pots etc provided as well as washing up liquid for anything used. Very nice bathroom with a large shower. Very helpful staff.

Great location within the old city but only a few minutes walk to the station. Room was large, modern and comfortable. We didn’t try their breakfast.

The small kitchenette had no brush or anything to wash up dishes.

Location, cleanliness, super nice staff. Facilities were all modern and great.

Everything was amazing. Just a small commentary to help property improve: There is a door downstairs with automatic light ( move recognition). It keeps turning on and off during night so the light in bedroom was flashing a bit. Can be solved with curtains, but I would recommend changing to dimmed but constant light.

We really liked the breakfast restaurant, which also doubles as a Ramen restaurant at night. Very attentive restaurant staff.

The hotel itself was okay, and could use some updating.

Location. Modern room with pet amenities. Staffing knew area and recommended amazing restaurants. Parking close and easily available. Laundry free and available. So impressed with hotel we want to go back to the city for longer.

Can be a little noisy with street noise

We came for the Christmas markets and the Melter is in an amazing location. The room was very big. We had a sitting area, small kitchen. There was access to free washing machines and 1 dryer. Staff were very friendly and helped with directions and dinner reservations. We loved it.

Location, clean and big room also love the amenities including self serve laundry.

The location is excellent - on a central street, within walking distance if everything, including the fantastic Christmas markets! Although in a busy area, the soundproofing is great, so we found it very quiet once inside. Staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived early, so we’re able to store our luggage while we explored some of the city. After returning, we found our luggage had been taken to our apartment for us. The decoration and facilities are superb. Very cosy inside. It’s also a short walk to the main train staition (we visited Bamberg one afternoon) and the nearest underground station is closer station (visited Fürth Christmas markets and old town using the U-Bahn). All in all a great stay!

Excellent location. Walked from the train station. Was right in the action. Room was huge and it was the best shower experience of the trip.

The hotel is the perfect mix of modern, comfortable and family friendly. The location was great-walkable to the train station, grocery stores and the Christmas markets!
