Pros +
- Charm and convenience
- Location to the Christmas market was excellent, a few minutes walk away, while the hotel was situated on a very calm, quiet street. The room which we stayed in was very spacious, had lovely bright windows facing the front of the street, and a separate sitting area with the TV, although some floor lamps/table lamps instead of just the ceiling lights would've made the room lighting more pleasant. Breakfast was decent with some hot food options in addition to breads, hams, yogurt, fruits. Parking wasn't on the same street, but a few streets over, between the Christmas market and the hotel, and we had special parking rates since we were staying at the hotel.
- Authentic German stay minutes from the Christmas markets. Extraordinary staff, fantastic breakfast and accomindating of all our needs.
Cons -
- The front desk was closed at midnight which was a minor inconvenience. I would not ask them to change that but it was different.
- The sewage smell of the washroom was very strong at times, especially if you had the washroom door opened for a while. It wasn't unbearable for us with the door completely closed but some may be bothered by it. The washroom and shower especially was really small even for us but the water pressure was excellent. If you're picky about shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bring your own as theirs is a 3-in-1.
- We found the beds quite soft and only flat pillows were provided . The heating was a little tricky to get right either too hot or too cold. The shower was tiny with a step up into and quite dangerous as slippery when wet floor tiles. No carpet in the room with hard floorboards. The parking was difficult only very small spaces provided.

Lovely boutique hotel, fantastic location. We stayed in the Loft which was very spacious and had nice views of the street and church.

We booked because of the location, really close to the Christmas Market, but everything about the stay was great. The staff were super helpful, and we even arranged for parking near the hotel, which we didn't expect.
Amazing location and the rooms were very nice. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well.
The location was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
The walls were thin and our neighbor was playing video games late into the night.
Lovely boutique hotel in great location close to all amenities in the old town near the castle. Perfect for short or longer stay.
Great location. Modernised rooms. Excellent staff. Good breakfast.
Very small showers that leaked over the floor
Excellent location, very pretty hôtel!
Only complaint was mildew smell in bathroom but couldn’t detect the source
The lobby was stylish and inviting
The rooms were smaller than in the pictures and looked different when advertised
The location and staff
The shower was really hard to use . I took ages to balance hot and cold and positioning the head was impossible.
The location was perfect- in a quiet part of the old town but easy to get to by car. The hotel has a small parking lot opposite the hotel (but only suitable if you are driving a small car). There is a public parking garage not far from the hotel. The breakfast was good- but little variety from day to day. Staff are very friendly and helpful There are some rooms that can't be accessed by elevator so if you have mobility issues be sure to confirm that you are not in one of them.
Great location, comfortable clean room. Love the vibe of the place. Close and convenient to everything in Old Town. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Space was a little tight, but manageable for a couple days. Bathroom was tight on size also, but had all you need and was clean.
Great location, easy parking, great size room with fridge, safe and closet space. Had early checkin for extra $ and kettle brought up promptly- great boutique hotel - will stay again if in area.
All great.
A fantastic location. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Parking location available nearby.
Nothing. I haven't tried breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. Everything was perfect!
AC was nice. We couldn’t get it to work at first but they figured it out.
We were charged more than what was reserved and we were told we booked incorrectly. Our confirmation said otherwise. We were over charged by about $80-$90 USD.
Great vibe. Sustainable.
Awkward entrance — hard to navigate stairs. Moisture smell in bathroom that spilled into room.
Lovely, quirky, historic hotel just within the low-traffic centre of Nuremberg. We stayed in a recently-refurbished top floor room that was quite spacious and with a good bathroom. We were able to park in the hotel's small car park across the road. From the hotel, the whole of historic Nurnberg is walkable, and well worth a look, particularly the castle. We had breakfast at the nearby Cafe Neef, which is the usual smart, clean, well-presented German cafe/Konditorei.
Nothing. Would happily stay again.
Everything! It may be one of the oldest hotels in Europe, but it was truly lovely and modern. All of the hotel clerks were helpful and very kind! Breakfast had great variety. Appreciated the A/C in the rooms also.
