Pros +
- Great location, great design and service
- Staff was very friendly! Location very central. Atmosphere in the lobby is nice and cozy.
- We are really glad that we chose to stay and Motel One Nurnberg. The rooms were exceptional and very, very clean and also very warm. The bed was comfortable including the pillows which gave us the best sleep. The bathroom was clean and equipped with everything we needed and there was always hot water. The staff is really helpful and polite, eager to assist with everything. It is located near the metro station and also the city center which it’a a great plus. The area in which is located seems safe, it’s clean and there is not that much of noise to disturb you.The motel has also a bar if you are in a mood for a drink after visiting the city and don’t wanna close the night. It’s very cozy and also with good pricesOverall, we were enchanted by Motel One Nurnberg giving us the best experience.
Cons -
- You can hear the trains obviously, but we came prepared with earplugs... If you stay in a city, there will always be some sort of noise so no issue for us.
- I was very disappointed with the staff. When me and my boyfriend arrived it was 01:00 AM so we just went straight to bed. There was only one, small blanket which we thought was strange but since we were already undressed and it was really late we just decided to go to sleep. In the morning there also was only one towel which was when we realised that even though we said we were staying with two people, the room was equipped for a sinlge person. When I went to share this with the staff they just said that this was something that we should have dealt with the day before and that we would recieve no compensation whatsoever. I am not really sure how we were supposed to have known this and i felt that a simple gesture such as a free breakfast would have been appropriate but we were not taken seriously whatsoever. I will not be going back again.
- The motel feels very budget despite high prices. If facing the train lines it is very loud and unable to have the window open. No other way to regulate room temperature obvious. When I arrived I had to ask why the bathroom was not fully cleaned, toilet brush left in toilet, drain trap left open and towels provided looked as if they had been used in the repair? I called to ask why but was offered no explanation and had to put these back together myself. The room had only basic provisions (small sad towels, poor quality toiletries etc) also no kettle to make tea or coffee. Despite booking a double room I was only provided a single duvet and had to request another… was given another single… no doubles? Also had to request extra towels owing to them being used in the repair, after waiting half an hour I then had to go ask and collect from the front desk. All this after paying a single occupancy premium!I booked the hotel for an overnight stop on a long trip and would have appreciated the ability to make a hot drink late at night upon arrival and not have to build my hotel room. Staff were lovely but busy, feels that management looking for maximum return with little investment which results in a really poor quality stay experience.

Location is convenient.

I like this chain - it’s really comfy for short term trips - clean room, city center, 5 mins away from the central train station.
Due to high season the price was very high for 3 stars property.
Good
I recently stayed at Motel One in Nürnberg and found the experience to be somewhat disappointing for the price. At €150 per night, I expected a higher level of comfort and amenities. Instead, the room was very small and lacked basics such as toiletries, slippers, and even a fridge. The breakfast was okay, but at €18 per person, it felt a bit overpriced for the selection provided.Overall, the hotel is acceptable for a short stay if you only need the essentials, but considering the nightly rate, I felt the value for money was not quite there.
Everything
30 degrees in the loby, the cleaning lady entering the room without knocking, even so we left a sign outside and locked the door. Big minus!
The hotel was very conveniently located by the train station and a short walk into the old town. Our room was above the railway tracks, I was nervous about being woken but we could hardly hear the movement of rolling stock. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was powerful.
There was nothing I didn’t like.
Breakfast excellent; convenient location
It was a little crowded at breakfast.
Clean and comfy rooms. Great location near station. Amazing bar downstairs. SUPER helpful staff. Showed me where to go to see the sights.
The staff were friendly and efficient, the property was very clean, the towels were super soft, there was air conditioning, it was quiet and the bed was comfy.
Clean and modern, next to the central train station.
Very clean,Personel friendly
Room is small
5' walking distance to main attractions
No scrumbled eggs, no bacon, this is the only thing I've been missing, but the breakfast was nevertheless very good
Good location, nice athmosphere
Beds a bit too gard
Staff, cleanliness, loved the bar!
A clear signpost from the station would be helpful for outsiders to find their way (I had to go to cloud 1 for diections), its not as close to the station as the site will have you believe. Also, mattress was a bit hard.
The place is located just around the train station, 5 minute walk perhaps. The room was very well equipped. We didnt use any of the food services so no comment there.
The room is really clean and comfortable. Checking in and out is intuitive and easy. Nice location with trams, busses and subway all in walking distances
It‘s a bit hard to connect our Chromecast to watch programms we prefer; but it’s not very big deal.
The room was simple, but very functional and clean. The front desk, bar staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Sam (a young girl who checked us in). Given the location, we were able to park our car at the hotel and walked to most places. The hotel was easy to access by car.
