Location, staff at desk and bar, everything was so nice.

Fitted sheets became unmade quickly. Bathrobes would have been lovely for getting out of shower.

All the staff members were extremely kind and welcoming, especially Samira from Cameroon, who was particularly attentive and friendly. The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station, which made getting around easy. The food was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the bar and the breakfast.

Room was so tiny. This could not be a. Standard room. I stayed three times there and this was definitely the last one. And they still didn't return money on my credit card although I paid cash at the hotel

The location is perfect...Next to the train station... at a metro stop and very close to the center.

1.Unfortunately, after my first day of arrival...by mistake...room service entered the room very early in the morning without knocking. 2.When I checked out... the receptionist was obviously not aware of the system and asked me to pay for the room even though it had already been paid for on the first day of my arrival. She asked me for the credit card I paid with and the misunderstanding was finally resolved.

Location is s great. We liked the standard 12:00 checkout time! Breakfast had good variety, especially the fresh omelettes, which is not easy to get in normal European breakfast offerings.

King bed was too soft, we sank a few cm. Pillows were especially horrible, like oversized air balloons.

Cleanses, and breakfast was good. One guy known Jonas at reception was really good. We were able to communicate with him easily and he was polite towards us.

One female receptionist had shown us a cold attitude towards us and was not flexible while discussing our situations.

There are no amenities and even we have asked to clean the room everyday, the shower area was not being cleaned and towels not being changed. Very poor cleaning quality.Mattress too soft, very poor quality. I don’t t know if I would stay there again for the price we have payed.

Excellent location. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. Parking. I recommend it.

The size of the room and the bathroom

I booked a big downlw bed and specifically ask for a big bed and not two single beds but still I got two single beds. It wasn't really uncomfortable cause we keep falling down in the middle of the bed. Also there was only two sugars for the tea and coffee and I was with my girlfriend. Everything else was fine. It would be nice to have a voucher or something for the next time cause I come once a month and will like to stay there again if everything is OK this time.

I've stayed at the Leonardo in Nuremberg several times over the years. Always very clean and comfortable, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast. And, of course, the perfect location, close to the train station and the old city. Highly recommend!

The location and how easy it is to deal with the stuff

It was a bit small room, not fully clean and a bit noisy because of the stairs.Photos were a bit tricky.

I enjoyed the modern look of the hotel and then complimentary chocolate.

The electricity with the Hotel Card was new to me and seeing I was a tourist I wish they would have told me

Our room was very very spacious, it has nice floor to ceiling windows and loads of natural light. The bathroom is an absolute dream with both a rainshower and a tub! We truly enjoyed our stay as a family - bub had a cot to roll around in too. An easy 4 mins walk to the central station too

Excellent price-quality ratio, very good location, close to the center and the train station. The fact that it is close to the train station is a great advantage, you can find a coffee or something to eat at any time at the train station.

Mybe the nois made by trains, but not a big issue for me. If you close the window is not an issue.

When I checked in our room, it was so cold , they said it will be warmer within 15 minutes but then they said sorry heater is not working so they changed our room to another very cold room.Outside was -2 degrees

Excellent location, beautiful courtyard and nice room facilities, especially love the little desk inside my room. I am a writer who enjoy staycation while working on my writings.

This was not my first stay at this hotel. I usually stay here three to four times per year, so I am familiar with their normal procedures.When booking through Booking.com, the hotel typically places a hold for the full amount on my bank account 24 hours before the stay, which is then charged once I check in. This has always worked smoothly in the past.During this stay, the front desk staff did not ask for my card at check-in. However, at check-out, another staff member told me that the previously held amount had been “released” and that the same amount was charged again. When I checked my banking app immediately in front of him, there was no released amount shown. Instead, I could clearly see that I had been charged twice. Effectively, a three-night stay resulted in payment equivalent to six nights.Unfortunately, the situation was made more stressful by the staff member’s attitude. When I explained that my train was departing in five minutes, his response was simply “you haven’t paid,” which felt inappropriate given that the full amount had already been held before my stay. As a result, I missed my intercity train, and at the time of writing, the originally held amount has still not been returned to my account. In addition, I did not receive any official receipt or invoice at check-out, only a “Beleg” from the card terminal.I have stayed at this hotel many times without issues, but this experience was disappointing. If you plan to stay at Leonardo Hotel Nürnberg, I would recommend ensuring sufficient funds are available or using a credit card, as duplicate charges may take time to be reversed.******(15 Jan 2026 update) As of today, I still have not received the release of the held amount. I have spoken with my bank, and they confirmed that the hotel is still holding the amount. The bank also confirmed that there is nothing they can do on their end and that they must wait until the hotel releases the hold or until it expires on 31 Jan 2026!

Missing Service culture here. No help from stuff carrying a suitcase to the taxi in front of the door, (the person was highly pregnant, very visible). The ventilation in the bath room was working all time, quite loud. Even closing the bath room door at night could not prevent from the noise. There was no option to deactivate it. Air condition was turned off already. The room as such was nice and clean.
