Great selection for breakfast, great coffee and wonderful staff. The location was perfect. The rooms were lovely and clean, I could not fault it, 100% recommend it. Many thanks to all of the staff for a wonderful stay.

    I liked everything.

    Good location.

No aircon so room far too hot - fridge gave off heat.

Amazing location, friendly and professional staff. Fast check-in, great parking, good WiFI and a delicious breakfast. Clean and pleasant room.

Great facility in great location. Because of heat and humidity, air conditioning is needed.

Air conditioning in room would have made stay comfortable and recurring.

    3NancyPosted on: 6-14-2024

Location was great! Free breakfast was nice- lively cafe downstairs filled w locals.

No air conditioning, bed linens were weird- less than a twin sheet on the double bed.

Located on very nice square, central. Friendly staff. It's no luxury, but expected. Bathrooms could be refurbished, but all functional. Also heating was working early November, great.

Noise from bathroom extractor... you can even hear the one from your neighbouring room...

The Albergo is located around the corner from my grandma's house who's too old to host. The Albergo was the perfect place to stay for a family visit.

The rooms are a bit noisy when other guest are coming back to their room, but that's only on the hallway.

    In the center.

I was sent to a separate building, a fake, or rather not real hotel building. It was separate from the actual hotel building. It was NOT a proper hotel nor was the room a real, proper hotel room. By admission of the young, uncaring staff member, it was a recently acquired apartment building. There was no wifi in the room, despite the booking.com description saying that there was; no air conditioning, no hair dryer no minibar/fridge, no TV, no curtains, no extra pillows, no blankets, the beds were not made, no phone to call reception, and to top it off NO PRIVATE BATHROOM!!! Despite the fact that the booking.com description said there was a bathroom in the room!!!! The young staff member was tending to both the snack bar and the hotel reception thus not giving the proper customer service and even had to keep calling the manager. She was unable to deal with anything beyond basic tasks and thus we had to wait 30 minutes for the manager to arrive to provide a solution to the lack of wifi service in the room. The young lady mentioned that they were totally booked!! So this manager is totally dishonest because if there was no vacancy there should NOT have been any availability on booking.com. Instead, apparently he incredibly thought that the substandard and distant building and room he gave to us was able to be considered acceptable for full price despite not providing what was advertised on booking.com!! We were so upset and disgusted that we decided to leave and check out after dinner. After checking out with our complaint at around 10:30 pm we were promised a refund and never got one. RUN, RUN, RUN, or stay at your own risk. As Italy’s economy continues to be more and more decimated by the central banks who are after Italian assets, Italians are becoming more and more dishonest and shameless in the kind of crafty tactics they use.

After arrival, we were checked in not in the main building of the hotel, but we had to walk about 100 m to another place. After climbing a dozen or so stairs, we entered what seemed to be the previous location of the hotel. There was a bathroom and a kitchen downstairs. There was another bathroom on the first floor and a total of 4 rooms, of which we had 2 at our disposal. The rooms and both bathrooms were quite modestly equipped, but it was sufficient for our several-day stay. The location right next to the market square of Maniago is fantastic. In the morning you could take advantage of the offer of several cafes, and in the afternoon eating lunch was also not a problem. There is also a COOP market in the area. In addition, there are several ice cream parlors and shops with other necessary items. Of course, there are also knife shops in the area, for which Maniago is famous. We only used the room for a short stay at night, and we used the stay to visit the nearby and surrounding area. We were in Venice, on the beach in Jesolo and on Lake Garda. There is also a river with a dam nearby where you can have a nice time - there are a lot of stones there and you need to take this into account. The Monday market is a nice experience. Leaving the hotel is a bit complicated, but it offers many shopping opportunities.

Even though our rooms were OK overall, in my opinion, when booking, it was not clearly stated that I was booking rooms that were not in the main building but that I had to go a little further. This also meant that despite the information on the website, people staying in these rooms did not have access to the Internet. The set of keys we received did not allow us to lock the main door to the entire unit. Despite it was a hotel, the rooms were not cleaned throughout our stay. It didn't bother us, but I think that such information may be important for some people.

Room overlooking lovely square, great parking under an arch in a courtyard for motorcycles, easy to find, bang in the middle of town, pleasant sitting out area in front for a beer in the evening. Walked across square to a very busy, excellent authentic Italian restaurant .

Breakfast very poor, just a selection of patisserie but good coffee.

    2MichałPosted on: 8-30-2023

    Very poor

Bathroom and toilet on another floor, no AC. Two person bed was in fact two small beds sticked together, beds were horrible.

    8MarcoPosted on: 7-16-2023

On the beautiful main square of Maniago, best spot for a one night stay in the area. Easy parking

Very basic. No aircon (surprisingly). Old bathroom but functional

Great little town and excellent location for a budget stay.

The shower was rather grotty inside and needed a really good clean. The room and bathroom was dated it desperately needed updating. I don't understand how this is rated 4 stars. The staff were lovely and the bistro downstairs offered great food and service too.

Great location in Piazza Italia. Gabrielle and his staff are amazing. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Fantastic breakfast options made by the family pasticceria.

Please be mindful there is no aircon.
