    Pros +

    • We liked that the front desk moved us into a bigger room. They did this on their own and it was no more cost to us. The food was very good and way better then Mare, as we also stayed there for 4 nights. Nice that the water slides were still working even though it was the middle of September!
    • Everything on the property was wonderful and the kids had a fantastic time. Staff was exceptionally nice, polite and helpful.
    • The pools were a highlight—they were huge, well-maintained, and a lot of fun. The food was also great; there was a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. The main restaurant was spacious.

    Cons -

    • The indoor pool was nice and warm but the smell of chemicals was too much for us to enjoy. People around us were coughing and rubbing their eyes. We were not able to spend anytime in there which we wanted to as the outdoor pools are not heated at all. I would suggest to at least heat the kids pools, as even the smaller children could not swim as it was too cold. The rooms are outdated and not cleaned all that well. Towels were changed even day no matter if we left them hung up or not, even thought there are signs saying to "Save the Environment" by leaving your towels hung up if you didn't want them changed. The nightly program was also a let down as we stayed here a year ago and all the programs in the evenings were exactly 100% the same, same jokes, same skits, and same programs. Would have been nice to have different programs for people that come year after year to the Palace. The alcoholic drinks were also not very good, very sweet and not very tasty. Also the drinks are basically the same as in the 4* hotels, you would think that the 5* would have better drinksThe beach was also not very nice with all the seaweed, I know they can't control it but at least make an effort to clean the beach front better where the chairs are for the Palace guests. There is also no drink service when you are down at the beach on the lounge chairs, you need to walk back up the stairs and to the bar to get any drinks, would be nice to have a special bar for the Palace guests in the area that they have the lounge chairs on the beach.
    • Over 80% of the beach was covered with overpriced and ugly umbrellas leaving very little space to enjoy he beach.
    • Our room had an unbearable sewage smell that made it impossible to stay there comfortably. While the hotel's leisure facilities were excellent during the day, returning to our room each evening was a nightmare due to the odor. We tried closing all drains ourselves, but it didn't help. When we called a hotel staff member, he entered our room, stayed for 30 seconds without saying a word, and left - never returning to address the issue. The smell completely ruined our vacation experience. Despite the good amenities, I cannot recommend this hotel due to the room quality problems and poor customer service response when we needed help most.

On check in we got an upgrade for a junior suite which was enormous and just completely fantastic - with a separate room for the children. The staff was great and the food was just superb

    Very old. Needs renovation!!

The bathroom very old. The bath look’s broken. There were ants in the room

The beach was really close to the hotel. Asian restaurant was fun as a family activity. The beagle shop was ok.

The mechanism for the window was broken, the bathtub was holded in place with screws, the shower was leaking and all the water was in the bathroom. Food was edible nothing special.

    8BorisPosted on: 7-23-2025

I liked the food – there was a very large variety, and there were plenty of things for kids as well. I also really appreciate how flexible you are with early check-in and check-out. You can stay as long as you want after check out, which is amazing.

The room could have been more renovated. The staff was rude, except for the staff at the reception and the buffet restaurant. The bars outside, burger places, etc., were rude.

The hotel is very clean, the food was very food and with variaty of options.

The beach was reacheable only by going down the stairs for almost 3 floors down and there was no beach bar available making the all inclusive experience very unpleasent. Nobody would go down the stairs more than once amd gou would have to cary bottles of water with you. Also, there was no toilet available on the beach. This should be reconsider by the hotel and also make it more aware upfron chosing for the hotel. If I would have known about this, I would have picked another hotel. On cleaning side, the room it self was cleaned on a daily basis but in the bathroom, along side the bath tub, there was a lot of mold.

Big and versatile hotel with many attraction, private beach, good service, clean rooms, family friendly, and good choose of all inclusive food and drinks. We chose the 5 star hotel which have extras like better verity of food, private sun beds on the beach, bigger pool and bigger rooms.

The difference of the 5 star and 4 star facilities in confusing and this makes some conflict with the hotel crew which I saw every day, in the 5 star pool the residence of 4 stars can't use but the access is opened and the pool crew need to ask them to leave which make not very pleasant situations also the same thing on the beach sun beds. Also, all inclusive cocktails are made by a machine which are not so good and basically just mix liquids together, no shake & stir on ice.

Family Stay at Sol Nessebar Palace – Would Happily ReturnWe stayed at Sol Nessebar Palace as a family and overall had a really pleasant experience. I’d definitely come back.Check-in was smooth, and the location is great — close to the beach and Nessebar town. That said, I think the beach could benefit from daily cleaning, like I’ve seen in other resorts (especially around Golden Sands). Just a small detail, but it stood out.Our room was spacious, clean, and really comfortable. There was more than enough space for our child to play around, and it felt fresh and well-maintained throughout the stay. The food was one of the highlights: varied, fresh, and really tasty. There are several restaurants on site, which is a lovely touch — though we couldn’t manage to get a reservation at one of them despite seeing empty tables. Still, the buffet more than delivered. I especially appreciated the fact that food or snacks were available nearly all day, from 7:30 until 21:00. One small wish: it would’ve been nice to have a proper frappe somewhere — otherwise, drinks and coffee options were everywhere and well-stocked.The pools are great (especially the kids' slides), but the water felt quite cold — around 20°C, which was a bit chilly for me. Some sunbeds could use a refresh, as a few had yellowed spots on the back. But overall, everything felt clean and functional, and we were never stuck waiting in line for food or at the bar, which is rare and appreciated. The entertainment team was lovely. There were fun shows for kids and families every evening, and the staff in the dining area were quick to clear tables and keep things tidy. That level of service really stood out.All in all, it’s a very family-friendly hotel, and I’d return without hesitation. If you're traveling with kids, looking for variety in food, and want a mix of fun and relaxation without big crowds, it’s a solid choice.

Animation team perfect 10(especially Gaby), the staff (the receptionist Ani), the room was big and the resort very clean

Food was horrible, we will never came back because of this, beach very small and water very dirty. We will never go back to this resort

The room was clean and big. Food was good also.

The indoor pool has a powerful smell of chlorine wich iritates the eyes.

Clean, stuff was great. Helped us find gluten-free menu

Didn't inform us about that some restaurants where closed

Great food - lots of salad / vegetable / vegetarian options. Huge property, including a water park, shared with two adjacent hotels by the same operator. Very large beds (width 1.10m x 2!) and comfortable room size. Right next to a beach town (Ravda) with plenty of nice beach bars. Nesebar old town is a nice half day trip, although completely besieged by tourists even outside season. Staff is very nice.

The building needs brush-ups after 20 years, especially the bathrooms. Overall, compared to hotels in the area, still a fine property but no luxury. The courtyard is where all the animation takes place - noisy till 10:30 pm. Included cocktails are too sweet and the house wine barely drinkable. Don‘t come for the alcoholic beverages. As typical for the whole area, the coffee is not great. Indoor pool was pretty crowded. There‘s no Uber/Bolt in the area and the normal taxis rip you off. Use the taxis that hotel operates itself.

Large pools. Large room. Friendly staff.

Pieces of rusty iron along the pool, from some damaged pieces, posed real danger to swimmers (see picture). Large piles of dead and smelly seaweed on the beach, which raised healthy issues and gave an ugly view (see picture). No facilities in the room, except for towels and hair dryer. An old and yellow fridge that did not work. Cracks in the carpet so you could see the concrete underneath. Poor quality of food, with just few exceptions and, anyway, little variety accross our 6-night stay. There is one restaurant with good food but you have to make reservation first (places are limited, so low chances to get a table). General feeling was of an old 3-star hotel, no way a 5-star.

    9KushtrimPosted on: 9-4-2024

The food, the facilities, and everything else was very good.

The internet connection was almost useless. Having issues with the internet in a five-star hotel is not acceptable. The pool was not clean enough.

    9EmiliaPosted on: 8-23-2024

We loved the room, there was a second smaller room with 2 single beds for kids. The double bed is actually a triple bed, three adults can easily sleep in it.The food is very good, the sweets not so much (for my taste).Loved the pools and the sea,the games for the kids, the water gymnastics.

The bathtub was leaking.the walls are very thin so you can hear everything in the next room and also from the air vents We couldn't sleep very well because of the people in the next room who spoke very loudly and let their small children scream and jump in beds until 1 am.

Good pool, nice food, nice water park, the shows are a good but a bit late tommy opinion

The hotel's beach is disgusting - too many see-weed, we took a taxi for sunny beach for a great beach. That was disappointing, also me and my girl got food poisoning or something - that was terrible. In our room-there was water coming all over the bathroom, they say they fix in the morning but didn't heard from them..
