    • The hotel is located in a very good location.Close to nice beaches, to the old town, to the aquapark...We received two rooms connected by a door (family room) which was a very good solution for usThe staff was great, the food was very good (especially if you are not vegeterian), the place is very clean and well maintended. There are taxis working with the hotel with fixed rates per location.
    • The evening shows were fun and the kids enjoyed the mini disco each evening. There’s basically snacks and food available somewhere in the resort all day.
    • I liked Everything. The hotel, the activities, the many pools, food was various and delicious, staff was friendly.

    Cons -

    • The resort is great if you have young kids. There are almost no vegeterian food options during the day between the main meals (even the pizza was with meet)Altought according to booking.com comments it seems that no metter which hotel you reserve (bay, mare or palace) you are allowed to use all the facilities...this is not the case...each pool has signs saying that the facility is for a a specific hotelThe hotel private beach is good only if you are in the palace hotel...otherwise...you are not getting anything there and also the sea shore is small and not so attractive...You are allowed to order once a week dinner in one of two restaurants located in the resort. I couldn't order anything during our week stay since it was full...
    • The dining area was quite small for the size of the resort, even considering the flow of guests when they arrive during meal times. The tables, unless pushed together (and finding two tables side by side to do so is difficult) can only fit 4 people. The meals were quite general and nothing to really write home about. The selection was almost the same each day with maybe one or two dishes that were “theme” based. We had a top floor apartment with a 180 degree view of the sea which was nice. I cannot speak about standard rooms but I believe each of them have a balcony. The showers have very short curtains, so containing the water is difficult and ends up all over the floor. Our floor drain was raised so the water did not drain effectively. So we used the towels each day to soak up the water, which means our towels were exchanged each day. Not a problem, but when trying to save the property water for washing towels, it doesn’t help. Plenty of sun loungers if you get out early and reserve one. The pool was fine. The beach is close and has loungers you can pay to use. There is a free aqua bouncy thing in the sea that you can use and the water is shallow all around it. Overall I was not overly impressed with the amount and quality of service and things to do for the 10-day price, but the kids had fun so that’s a plus. The resort has three building to stay in. I would recommend the Sol Nesebar Palace over the Bay or Mare. Pool is larger, lounge area is bigger and more chairs, there’s an area on the beach with loungers but only if you are staying in the Palace, and the dining area seemed nicer but I can’t confirm as you can’t eat in it unless you are staying there.
    • Our reservation was originally for one of the other hotels in the chain and we had to change hotels with luggages. But apart from that small miscommunication, everything else was great.

Just got back home after a wonderful week at Sol Nessebar Bay! It is a large resort, comprising 3 hotels, two 4 stars (Bay and Mare) and one 5 stars (Palace). We chose the Bay, to be more quiet and with easier access to the beach. We loved everything: 1) large and comfortable room, cleaned every day, big thank you to the cleaning ladies who were working really hard all day;2) excellent food, lots of options for all tastes; besides the main restaurant, there are other smaller spots all over the resort where you could grab a bite (burger bar, fish & chips corner, German specific, icecream corner, pizza corner, donuts corner, fruit, panini corner etc.); drinks - self service for juice, water, beer, wine, coffee, lots of cocktail options at the bars; also tried the a la carte restaurants - Chinese and Italian, both very good, we had fun at the Chinese where we got to cook our own soup, really nice family experience ?; 3) great pool and very nice, clean beach with quiet sea, excellent for kids (it is in a bay) and natural shade - we chose the beach chairs under the pines, as we cannot stand the heat too much, but there are plenty of chairs in the sun at terraces right above the beach or at the pool (one note to whom it may concern: only the 5 stars Palace guests have access to chairs directly on the beach; also, only the Palace has music by the pool).4) absolutely amazing animation team, lots of activities for adults, teens and kids throughout the day and really great shows in the evenings, we were active all day and never once got bored; 5) nice aquapark in front of the Mare hotel and really cool rocky river leaving from the Bay and sliding down towards the beach through the pine trees (too bad it is only for kids, I would have loved to try it ?). All in all, we had a great vacation, thank you very much Sol Nessebar Bay!!!!

This is a family oriented resort, so expect lots of kids everywhere ? Might get loud and hectic at peak times at the main restaurant, but this could be avoided by having breakfast earlier or dinner a bit later (mini disco for kids starts at 20.30, so this is when one can enjoy a quiet dinner).

The staff, the variety of food, the beach and the water parks, the pools, the size of the rooms.

The alcoholic beverages! The beer was mostly sparkling water, the wine was a mixture of bad wine and water, the hard liquor was poor quality!

    5DorianPosted on: 9-2-2024

Good entertainment for the kids they were enjoying the time there.

Food is terrible, didn't eat nothing for the entire week. The smell in the restaurants was disgusting ?

    9NaomiPosted on: 9-1-2024

The rooms were nice, quiet, large porch and bathroom (bath + shower) and good setup for a family with internal separate room. The food was very good and generous, including outdoor stands during the day. The pools and water slides were great and the shows at night were fun for kids. The outdoor inflatable track in the sea was lots of fun.

The coffee is bad :( The hours of the water slides are too limited, closing for an hour 12:30-13:30 and then closing for the day at 16:30 which is very early. Evening activities besides the shows cost extra money. The beach is nice but it is covered with seaweed which makes it a bit unpleasant.

    10MervePosted on: 8-29-2024

You just cannot get hungry! There is food somewhere all the time. It is delicious. The coffee bar on each floor. The room is spacious. The atmosphere/ambiance. It is a huge resort with lots of opportunities.

Nothing at all. The sea is not that attractive, but after all, it is the Black Sea and you should not expect much.

    9AlonPosted on: 8-20-2024

Great locations, beautiful hotel complex and room

A lot of paid addons and tourist trapsThe food selection was a bit limited for kosher /non pork/ham/seafood eaters

    5TanyaPosted on: 7-27-2024

The pools, the Aqua park, and the food. The service at the restaurants was excellent

Overpriced, crowded, limited parking (when is available, it's for extra fee), no chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Limited availability of chairs and umbrellas at the pools, people would put their towels on a chair and disappear for the day - very annoying.

    7YairPosted on: 7-24-2024

Water park & pool was greatVery close to the black sea

There was no air conditioning in the dining room and playrooms in middle of july, very hot.

    5HazelPosted on: 6-24-2024

Great place. Food was ok. Staff were friendly.. But I couldn't seem to access much. Tried the tennis courts 5 times but couldn't get anyone. Reception was not great with helping on this. Limited use on facilities also. Great pools though kids loved it. Entertainment seemed solely for the Palace Hotel which is on the same ground.

    10BistraPosted on: 9-10-2023

Everything was perfect - accommodation, facilities, food, staff, aquapark ? will visit again 100%. It is perfect for families with kids.

    9IrinaPosted on: 9-8-2023

It was our second time here for us, I like the food, the pools, the programme for kids, it's all very well organized and comfortable.

The smell in our room - it rained a few days before we arrived and the carpet in the room with soaked and smelly.

    9IvaninaPosted on: 7-25-2023

Excellent food; very polite staff at the reception desk; spacious bedrooms; clean swimming pools, overall, very well-maintained resort. We have visited the resort couple of times 3-4 years ago and it still offers very good service as before.

Clean rooms, aqua park, animation for kids, rich all inclusive.

    8IoanaPosted on: 6-24-2022

There were lots of things for our four year old to do.The beach was narrow but clean and nicely shielded by trees.Pizza was great and I liked the multiple snack stations.

Food was disappointing, especially in the main restaurant. No decent coffee.
