Our room(more of an apartment) we stayed in was beautiful! We really enjoyed having a kitchen and balcony. Our kids loved the indoor pool. It was a nice way to relax. The breakfast was delicious.

Massage wasn’t a real massage and for that price truly not worth it ! 2 days of an unpleasant “dung” smell / sanitary area- bathroom .. day of check in, it was almost unbearable.. apparently this problem arises during certain weather conditions.. the hotel reacted very professional though and offered a replacement room, if the problem would not have been solved.

The hotel is good, with friendly service, large but rather simple rooms, and a beautiful view. Overall, it offers a pleasant stay and has potential.

Unfortunately, our dinner experience in the restaurant was very disappointing – the food was dry, tasteless, and not freshly prepared, so we had to leave without eating. There is also no bicycle rental, the climb up from the village to the hotel is very steep, and the bar is closed on Sundays.

Facilities and breakfast at the hotel were excellent. Location was fine.

For a superior room with an apparent lake view then we were disappointed with a side view and bushes obscuring the lake view.

Great location with stunning scenery and amazing views from the bar, restaurant amd rooms. Cosy room with nice bed amd pillows. Lovely, friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was very good and we had dinner there once which was also tasty and good value for money. A short walk up the hill from the small village with restaurants and gorgeous two hour walk around the lake. Highly recommend a stay here

We had a small double which didnt have a fridge or tea and coffee making facilities which would have been nice. We were there in September so the temperature was perfect but if you are there in the hot summer I didnt spot any air con so maybe something to consider.

We booked a family room with a kitchenette that had a mountain view from the balcony - we could even see Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles! It was absolutely magical and both ourselves and the children were enchanted. The breakfast buffet was absolutely marvellous and we wished we could have had the same for dinner and tea! The room was spacious and having the little kitchen meant we could get items from the supermarket and have an evening meal together while looking out at the mountains. The pool was lovely, with a stunning view out of the windows as you swam. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and would love to come back again in the future.

We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evenings as there was no children's menu - for families this would be a great addition but really didn't affect how much we enjoyed our stay!

Amazing, clean, quiet, friendly, they even catered for gluten free on request. We loved it so much. Please ignore my previous review, as that was for another hotel, and booking.com haven't removed it, even though I requested it.

If I was being really strict, then the sofa bed was a bit firm for me, but I prefer soft ones.

Very nice breakfast with a stunning view and big and nice room. Plus was the swimmingpool & sauna relaxing facilities.

Hotel’s positions offers astonishing views over the lake and the surrounding mountains. Quiet area and well organised and clean small town. Wide array of parking options, especially liked the covered roof parking (felt the rental car was safe during storms)Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable to sleep / stay on for long periods of time.Fabulous breakfast with many options to choose from.Access to spa (pool, sauna, relaxation areas) offers great alternatives on rainy days.

Great location. However, hotel rooms are sober, and information for guests about facilities and services insufficient. Such as: no information given about reservation requirement at restaurant (which resulted in a painful clash when we innocently tried to enter the restaurant; initially we were bluntly refused for ‘not having made a prior reservation - while dining room was less than half occupied…). Also no information about the alternative provided in the absence of minibars in the room; also, bathrobes and toiletteries that were on the inventory list, were not in our room. Finally, even though we informed staff at arrival that I had broken two ribs and could not carry heavy suitcases up a stairs,we were given a room at a higher floor, that could only be reached…. by stairs.

Gym could have more free weights and Switching sauna off at 8pm is too eraly as well as access to gym only 8am-8pm

Very well kept and modernised, excellent breakfast, clean, beautiful place, friendly staff.

The ventilator in the bathroom is rather loud (I am sensitive to noise), cannot be turned off seperatly, and stays on forever. I ended up using the bathroom in the dark.

Beautiful place. I was there on my birthday and they treated my breakfast table with a white tablecloth and then nice card from the owners and also a piece of cake with a candle in it.

We would have appreciated a ground plan of the hotel village as it is rather spread out.

Not my style hotel (that‘s personal). Restaurant only offered a fixed menu (€35,-) or some days a buffet. The hotel is one big maze. Value for money not in balance. Too traditional for my taste. Bed Sofa wasn‘t comfortable for that price. If you don‘t ask, there‘s no cleaning service out of ‚sustainability‘ reasons. But price stays the same. For real sustainability they can better take a look at the menu they are serving ?.
