Hotel Nova Bentbaša

The bed was really comfortable and the location is really good. It takes you 2-3 minutes to get to Bascarsija. Breakfast was decent, classic variety of eggs and good spreads and meats.

First of all, the WIFI was terrible, it was barely working for the two nights we stayed there. Had to use my data and spend extra money on roaming. TV wasn’t working, you turn it on and wait for it to “turn on” for another 10 minutes. We would go down to tell the staff about it, but no one was at the reception, only at breakfast/check in time. Our glasses we got in the rooms were dirty and had hairs on them. There was not hot water the first night we arrived, so we had to take a cold shower. In the middle of the night, it just started to smell like a septic tank, probably coming from the bathroom, but we couldn’t figure out what it was exactly. Bathroom door also could not close fully, so the smell kept coming into our room where we were trying to sleep. The smell was there for probably 30 minutes or more. The parking is also not a parking, it’s a sidewalk across from the Hotel, turned into “parking” spots.

We did not get the room we booked. The one we got was a triple room in some how i would say -1 floor something like a basement. The room was not clean at all, there were cobwebs on the walls and the toilet was with mold on the shower.

It was renovated and very comfortable room. 5 minutes away from downtown (walking distance) the breakfast was amazing! And the staff were trying their best to speak to us in English.

Unfortunately this country you can still smoke in the building so it was smelling when you weee coming in but not in the room

Location is great, close to the old town. Rooms are very comfortable and bathroom is large and clear. Breakfast is simple but enough and very fresh, with a beautiful view of the city. Staff is very attentive and supportive.

No elevator makes it challenging for my parents, but a bellboy helped us with the luggage. Parking is another challenge as there are just few spots to park in the street.

One of the most picturesque and evocative places in Sarajevo where you can stay overnight, a few steps from the historic center, quiet and relaxing..staff amazing y helpfull

Very bad place, they didn't respond to our requests, there were a lot of flies and a disgusting smell everywhere. Very bad staff, I would even give them a minus 10.

Welcoming, warm, and charming waiter with a sense of humor. Everything was close. City noise free. Nice shower head. Kind staff. Parking.

Birds in the ventilation system of the restroom. The waiter was the receptionist as well. Wifi was horrible. It was impossible to have an online meeting. Must be cleaner, both room and the hotel part. Receipt for my stay was handwritten.

Staff; very dirty and sandy room; one small pillow and a very short blanket; dirty corridors…

The building and furniture were new, likely recently renovated. We stayed in the attic family room, which was very spacious. However, due to major service failures, our stay was an absolute disaster.

The bathroom had a window facing the street with no curtain or any form of covering. The shower area was completely exposed, which is simply unacceptable. I had to hang a bedsheet over the window for privacy. Even though housekeeping clearly saw this when they came to clean the room, no one contacted us or attempted to address the issue.There was a clear lack of staff. The receptionist barely spoke English, which made communication nearly impossible. I didn’t request a room change simply because I was too tired to deal with the hassle.Breakfast was extremely poor. On top of that, smoking was allowed in the breakfast area, making the entire room reek of smoke—totally inappropriate, especially in the morning.This hotel has potential with its modern building and spacious rooms, but without proper management and professional service, I cannot recommend it under any circumstances.

The next morning when we went to the breakfast, I didn’t see that staff member again. Apart from him, everyone else was very helpful. I was pleased with the friendliness of the other female staff members. Overall, the hotel was clean, and the rooms were spacious. I would recommend the hotel, but I don’t know what to say about this particular staff member. Since he’s the first person you encounter when you check in, he could completely ruin your peace. Have a nice holiday!

When we arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the reception. I went to the bar to call someone to the reception, and the staff member there almost kicked me out of the hotel. Despite having made a reservation in advance, we were scolded by this gentleman for arriving at the hotel at that hour. He was disrespectful, rude, and harsh. Even though we had already paid for the booking through Booking.com, the staff member asked us to pay an extra €15 to stay in the room we had reserved. Everything was terrible from the moment we entered the hotel.Although we had booked a room with a balcony, they initially didn’t give us the room. However, when we said we would contact Booking.com, they immediately gave us the balcony room and even offered us a gin and tonic to make up for the unpleasantness. For a one-night stay, I think we encountered an excessive amount of rudeness.

It looks like it is a new hotel, everything was clean but our room was downstairs and there was a lot of humidity on the walls. The restaurant was good. They have a nice location since is near the old town.

They don’t speak English very well so the communication was tough. There were like a party at the restaurant at night so I couldn’t sleep very well because of the noise. They don’t have lifts, nor anyone to help you carry your luggage. The rooms are small.

We liked that location and proximity of the downtown Sarajevo made our movement easier, as well as the fact that the personnel was kind. In addition the river Miljacka nearby, with some ducks playing in the water, was nice.

The restaurant is great! The hotel itself is pretty close to the old city center. The view from the hotel's territory is spectacular.

The hotel is close to the road with high traffic so it could be noisy during the night. Also, the AC in the room was making some weird noises while starting to work.

The room is super clean and comfortable. The breakfast was correct, the location is great, the only small problem is the connection to the main road. It is not visible, on a curve and everyone drives fast
