Hotel Grad

The room itself was absolutely perfect. Clean, modern, comfy bed.

The breakfast was one of the worst we had. Really low quality and variety. Only bread, no buns. Not even a toaster for the bread. Nothing sweet AT ALL, no fruits.The lock inside our room didn't work. We complained to reception. The guy there argued with us that we don't need it because no one can open the door from outside. We said we need to feel safe and a lock is a basic thing. He argued more. Eventually he, after 24 hours, the manager arrived and fixed it for us, but it took a lot of arguing, which we didn't like.

The property is clean and staff are professional. The location of the hotel is located in a strategic place in heart of Sarajevo.

The new phones are not installed yet.

- Very bad behavior during check out- Receptionist in first night requested €10 for bed and cover even my reservation of two rooms on exact number of family members, long discussion with reception staff to convince them that what they are requesting is not as per reservationVery rude staff and scammers, never be back!

Nice, big and clean room, good size bathroom with big shower. Hotel is on the main road, but it was reasonably quiet.Staff was fantastic, polite and very helpful Good location if you are staying on business purposes, close to the airport, city center is 4 km.

Breakfast had little choice for 4 star hotel

A beautifully decorated hotel with exceptional staff. Great value for money, I book with them whenever I travel to Sarajevo.

The hotel was clean, no remarks on the cleanliness of the room or facilities.

The room was above 30 degrees during the night and with no options to adjust the temperature. The control panel in the room was not working accordingly and the front desk clerk (3am) said he could do nothing. Located next to what turned out to be a very busy road, opening the window allowed noise and exhaust fumes to be prevalent over the cold air outside.The breakfast was rather dull, pre-made bread of low quality and with very few options on vegetables or other items made it a poor experience.It absolutely blows my mind that this hotel carries 4 stars.

Overall a nice hotel. Rooms were very nice and the staff was very welcoming and attentive.No restaurant onsite, but a nice Turkish restaurant next door. Recommended.

Location is a bit far from everything. Breakfast OK, but a little too basic.

Fabulous service from the reception. Room was very clean and organized.

Please provide a box of facial tissue toothbrush and toothpaste. You can increase the rent $2_$3 if needed but please include these basic items.

The hotel was unexpectedly good: solid facilities, very very pleasant and friendly staff. We stayed at a few different accommodations during our trip, and the friendliness and helpfulness of staff in this place beat all others.

One down side was no available food in the facilities besides breakfast. There was no option to eat lunch or dinner.

Staff was wonderful. Helped me with calling taxis, changed a bit of money for me when I needed it for a taxi. Breakfasts were plentiful and good. Also, very pleasant neighborbood to walk in the evening, up the hill behind the hotel.

Not close enough to walk to downtown, but taxis weren't difficult to get. Restaurant next door is good.

Bad

Although I made a proper reservation and got the confirmation for it, due to overbooking I couldn’t get the room upon my arrival. No information about it, and no apologize from the hotel management which was even more disturbing.

The male teenagers working at the front desk were the nicest and super helpful.

On the day of checkout, the blonde woman working at the front desk refused to call the local taxi company, Žuti Taxi, upon my request claiming that they don’t serve the part of the neighborhood where the hotel is located because it’s too far. I called the taxi company and was able to get a taxi in 10 minutes. This woman just wanted the private pirate taxi companies to make money and they are known for swindling customers. She never even asked me how my stay was and was super cold as if someone was forcing her to work there. There was a male receptionist in his 30s who was literally sleeping behind the desk when I came down at 7am. Also the surrounding neighborhood is full of trash everywhere. The breakfast was not impressive including the coffee machine which serves bitter water. We will not be staying here again.

Clean and comfortable, helpful staff.

Located a long way from centre. Need to catch public transport, bus is close and easy to catch but very crowded.Not a lot of food potions close by.

The hotel definitely doesn’t have 4 stars as it claims. It is a pretty basic hotel with no conventional restaurant or bar (there’s breakfast room only). The room has a minibar with bottled water sold for 2.5 eur which is way too high for Bosnia.

Helpful staff ,specially Adisa and Emina for their guidance to any query.Mirela for her kind gesture at the breakfast table every morning. Location was away but it helped to be away from the busy city centre.Good amount of parking space availability.

Missing restaurant, as the property is located away from city centre but staff was really helpful to guide us.

That in booking.com I reserved single room but I paid for double because in booking.com there was a price for single which when I was in the hotel I found out its the price for double. I even have photos of the price list.

Comfort, all the facilities needed, and VFM. Was a bit of a distance from city centre. But cheap and reliable trolley bus service meant that was easily accessible.

Friendliness

One if the rooms was a smoking number before us though it was a non-smoking room. The smell was not pleasant. Though as we stayed only one night, it didn't cause major problem.

The personnel is outstanding. The room is simple but adequate and clean. Overall, it was a good stay, the personnel is friendly and helpful, which makes up for any shortfalls.

The only thing to improve is the TV. Very limited number of channels and no news channels ?
