ibis budget Saint Dié des Vosges

Really big clean room! We were able to order a pizza and the receptionist cooked it for us! We were too tired to go out and it was raining. The pizza was delicious and made in a proper pizza oven.

The machine did not accept foreign cards but the Ibis Hotel right across the road gave us a temporary code to check in when reception was closed at our Ibis Budget. We were then able to pay once reception opened. Everyone was very helpful.

No warm water, dirty room dirty windows

Everything was really clean.

There was construction on the second floor, so it was noisy and the entrance is a bit weird with the containers in front.

The breakfast was not bad - could be better for that charge.

When I was trying to get help to arrange for a taxi to the train for the following day since I had 2 heavy suitcases and a back pack, the lady was not willing to use the desk phone to call the taxi. Instead she wrote the numbers even after I explained that as a foreigner my mobile could not made any call as I only had a sim card from my country. When I nearly got upset, then she used the office phone to arrange for the pickup. She even said that her colleague would do that the following day. I felt targeted cos all the Ibis hotels that I stayed in, in Paris, German the staff were perfect.

Brand new renovated. Very clean and modern. Good windows, curtains, shower, airco. Parking in front. Free parking until 9 am

Automatic checkin did not work. Needed to call to get access. Access could have been given before arrival.

Hotel personell were very kind and helpful.

Room and it's furniture were old. They need to be renewed.

the staff was nice, the beds were comfortable and the location was great.

It wasnt as clean. There were bushes of hairs in the bathroom, shower and on the wall. The bed had fireholes.

Booking.com let us book after 10pm so we rode 20km to the hotel to find out you can't check in after 9pm unless pre arranged ?

Auto check not working properly.Simple modern room perfect for us looking for an overnight driving stop

We couldn't get checked in using the auto system at the front and we had to call and thankfully someone came round quickly from the nearby Ibis

the check in started at 12, but the check in desk was not opened from 12-17. the machine kiosk did not work for us. thankfully the staff at the ibis across the river were able to assist. the climate control did not work as advertised.

The location is very good, and the price was correct.

It's a sad hotel, a bit dirty, run-down and depressing.

Excellent value for money, Good size rooms, and basic amenities match the tag of a budget hotel. We had to crash for the night and was very late at night, so it served the purpose. There was no staff late at night but was helped by the staff at another IBIS down the road to help with the check-in. It was inconvenient but luckily hadn't unloaded the car before I had processed the room key (one for experienced travellers to check the hotel first).

Check-in was a big issue, as it is self-service, I entered the reservation on the kiosk, which was visible but even after trying 4 different payment cards, the payment was not accepted. It was quite lucky that another IBIS was down the road, so I went there to get checked in who after deliberating with the manager decided to give me the hotel and room code.
