location and hotel were fine
choice of main course at the restaurant quite poor
Great location with wonderful team and restaurant
Good continental breakfast.
We have stayed many times at this hotel. But on two occasions the road has been closed outside making parking a challenge.
Reasonable location near to town but parking outside a bit hit and miss - okay if you were lucky Breakfast buffet reasonable Lots of towels supplied
Room smelt of smokeTiny high window made room feel dark and claustrophobic No catch of any kind on ensuite door so it wouldn’t stay closedNo tea/coffee making facilities Shower hose needs maintenance to stop water leaking Lot of noise from stairwell, corridor, neighbouring rooms and outside - very poor sound insulation and all room doors made horrendous clanking every time they were open/closed
The staff is fine , the bed comfortable.
There is no parking: we have been travelling for months, the car was extremely loaded : no safe place to park it. Very upsetting. We payed 140 euros for an ibis budget. It is very , very expensive for what they offer.
Location parking roomAnd breakfast
Very clear, friendly staff. Clean rooms and great breakfast. Good location for stop over on our trip.
NA
Our room, overlooking the Meurthe, was compact, clean and comfortable. The shower worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful, and could speak English (if required). The breakfast was good; we found the scrambled eggs to be particularly good. The location is good - not far from the station or town centre. Overall, a very pleasant base for our visit.
Quiet rooms
Not alot of room to move about around the bed. Air conditioning unit was leaking onto the floor, no coffee/tea facilities in the room
Conveniently placed
They didn’t tell us - nor did Booking.com tell us they were 20m from a fairground which was in operation that weekend : no parking , tremendous noise and a general nuisance
a new ibis in a great location. better than we expected! staff was excellent. facilities were clean with good parking outside.
location and restaurant were convinient
room was a little empty
the breakfast is ok. but a bit expensive.
the air conditioner doesn’t work. it’s hot like hell in the rooms especially after a hot day
Really disapointed. There was a good italian restaurant down the street, that compensated a bit. The girls in the hotel where very friendly but communication was a problem.
Language : Only French language, all others by google translate on a phone. Paying : I checked if i could leave before 7h00, yes it was possible 24/7. Then when i tried to leave : At first they said I had not paid via booking, i had to wait for 1 hour 30 minutes before anyone could solve the issue, even when I showed the billing receipts of my bank account & booking.com proof. Their system fault and i had to take all the consequences. (I tried to leave early because of the expected heat, that was not possible due to this.) I have the feeling being scammed because there was no bill possible : I have paid for 4x breakfast, the coffee i had during waiting till 7h counted as breakfast, in reality i only had breakfast the first day. They made a real mess & at my question for some compensation they reacted like they did not understand. The restaurant : I asked for a large bottle of water like usual in France. I got a small 30 cc bottle of water. All french speaking people got a big one for 1 liter. The card was very poor, (you'd better eat in the village) so i did not feel like eating again.Room : Airco barely worked, i could only feel the wind blowing slowly , no cooling, so ending up sleeping with window open. At 4h00 ( at night!) the delery truck arrives and as you can guess a lot of noice, and use of the lift. The parking : To small - you had to be carefull how to park your bike or you would be included = making it impossible to leave next day. Bumped my head twice, damage on the helmet because of this very low seiling.Village : Nothing to do, all lot off shops and restaurants where [email protected] : No support for the above payment problems. They just refer to be in contact with the hotel. I could not get anyone on the phone, by a menu i got referred back to contact the hotel directly ( who did not speak any other language!). So see booking.com like a search site without any extra service and no warranty or support..
