Hotel Wacker

Amazing cute hotel in a perfect central location. Staff were very friendly and accomodating

I liked everything: the staff, the hospitality, the breakfast, and the restaurant downstairs. It's an old atmosphere, but with very quaint and friendly staff.

Carrying a heavy suitcase upstairs and no parking.

Close to downtownFamily runGood value

Parking is not included

Very poor

an unpleasant experience, from the first I was disappointed when the lady at the reception kept my identity card because she didn't know how to check the online payment, I showed her on the phone that I paid but she didn't believe me. cold room, I opened the radiators but the heat was not working. I really don't know what I paid 55 euros for...

Staff was very friendly. Cute German hotel with everything pretty much as good as you would expect for the price.

The walls were a little thin and if you have bad luck like us with very loud neighbors it's a bit of a nuisance. The bathroom felt a little bit unclean.

Very friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Great location. Definitely stay there again ??

Very friendly Frau Wacker.Enjoyed breakfast

Would like wifi in each room.

Location was convenient

Hotel Wacker is quaint looking on the outside, but an older facility that needs upgrades. For example, it was disappointing to have no wifi in the room and a weak wifi connection in the common areas. Our room was very small & bathroom towels were old/thin.We stayed at (6) different hotels during our (15) days of travel to (7) cities in France/Germany, and we enjoyed all our hotels but would likely not return or recommend Hotel Wacker.

There’s nothing to like about the property.

I needed a last-Minute hotel due to an emergency of a family member in the hospital. A check-in time was not shown at the time of booking order. I called the hotel and told them that due to traffic I would come in the evening and where key box might be. The hotel receptionist (a female) yelled in very rude, arrogant way on me that if I don‘t come before 9pm, I will not get the room. She hang up on me and I could not enter. I informed Booking.com customer service. The Booking.com clerk was very nice and tried to cancel the booking and getting a refund from this hotel which was till today unsuccessful. I travel a lot. I never had such an unpleasant treatment of any hotel worldwide.

Everything was better than expected for the price! The lady at reception was very sweet and we felt very welcome.

Only thing missing was a small fridge.

Great location, staff very friendly and the food and service was good.

Nice staff.. very good location near to everything..room was super clean .

Parking very hard .. very noisy.. no elevator..

Quaint surroundings , great location , Frau Wacker was a wonderful host

Breakfast was good with good selection. The location was great, downtown. The lady (sorry I didn't get her name) we dealt with at check in and breakfast was terrific, friendly and helpful. Two ladies who helped us carry up our luggage were wonderful.

No elevator and very hard taking our luggage upstairs.

location, clean, friendly staff

no WiFi in rooms. TV not working.

Centrally located

It was a little old and needs some room renovation, especially bathrooms

My partner was in Lahr hospital so I flew over for the duration that she needed to be there. Because there was no real time frame for this it meant everyday I had to book a room instead of being able to book for the whole period. They were incredibly accommodating meaning I had one less thing to worry about. Clean rooms with comfy beds and a great service. Thank you very much ?

Great location in the heart of Lahr. Excellent breakfast and wonderful host.

Overnight parking is a problem in Lahr but we found free parking at the Arena mall on tiergartten str

Location, downtown, walking distance to all business and pubs. House restaurant, excellent meals for the money. Excellent breakfast. Excellent rate per night. Friendly staff, very helpful.

Very weak signal in room for Internet. Had to use the common area or sunroom.

Family run and friendly,

Too old and not upgraded
