Location worked for us. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was comfortable. Parking was easy.

Disappointed restaurant and lobby closed on Monday and Tuesday. Didn’t know that prior to booking. Check in would have been awful without another guests assistance.

We have stopped here en-route many times... even worth a detour! Excellent restaurant and bistro. Reserve well ahead for the weekend.

Stay Hotel Adler, exceeded all expectations! The breakfast was outstanding, with an incredible variety from fresh pastries and fruits to custom omelets and gourmet coffee. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The perfect way to start the day in a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Convenient, clean with good restaurant

This property and all the personnel went ABOVE and BEYOND our needs!!!The breakfast was delicious!!! They even helped us cart our luggage to our room!!! And the rooms!!!!!! Fully modern , big rooms the prettiest rooms ever!!!HIGHLY…. HIGHLY recommend ?????

Spacey rooms, retro but very clean interior. Large parking area with separate entrances to the rooms.

The pillows were too big and soft. I did not bother asking for another though.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel- Restaurant Adler very much. There's a lovely garden in back. The gasthaus, where we ate dinner and breakfast, has a lovely outdoor courtyard and garden. The food was really delicious with much attention to detail. The room was clean, large and lovely overlooking the garden.

Really, everything was great. It's good to know that there isn't an elevator in the hotel.

Generally speaking, nice hotel, restaurant with interesting menu, tasty breakfast, very friendly staff. I can recommend this hotel.

I had to leave the Hotel very early in the morning because of another business trip. They served me breakfast earlier than the normal time and it was very nice.

The key of the room was heavy and big to carry, they can change them with smart cards :)

Breakfast was amazing ! It was served( once you looked at a sheet listing everything they had). They will also bring you a bit of all the traditional Black Forest breakfast things if you have an challenges with the German list. It is about 3 km from Lahr, about 35 km from Strasbourg. It was worth EVERY Penny!!! Thank you Adler! We loved our Saturday night dinner in the Gasthaus( book in advance!).PS We are Canadians

We enjoyed the cozy and clean room.

The was a problem with the booking.Booking confirmed our stay but when we arrived the hotel they could not find our reservation. Also there were no more free rooms available.But the hotel found a solution and gave us the room of another person who did not confirm in time. That was a coincident.Also the splitting of shower-bathroom and WC-bathroom was a little problem. The WC-bathroom did not have a sink to wash hands.That means you always have to go for wash hands after using the toilet to the shower-bathroom - which in my opinion is not very hygienic.Also the room was equipped with carpet which can be a little difficult to keep clean.

The location of the hotel is nothing short of superb. There are beautiful walks along the little river and into the forest immediately behind the property. The rooms are good sized, the bathrooms clean and well-equipped with plenty of hot water. The breakfast is first-class, efficiently served at your table with a smile. I have been here three times, and twice occupied the same very nice room, with a pleasant balcony such that you can sit outside and enjoy the afternoon/evening sun. The carpark is large, safe and very practical, with direct access to a back door of the hotel from there. The hotel is very dog-friendly - and so it is a pleasure to stay.

I was in Lahr in August. The room was too hot to sleep properly - air-conditioning is sorely needed during the summer months (there is a little desk standfan - better than nothing ?). The WiFi is unfortunately not strong enough to be able to work from the large work surface provided. I had to sit near the door in an armchair with my laptop on my knees.

Friendly staff, good food, nice location. The room was comfortable and very clean.

The situation is exceptional - wonderful walks await your just behind the hotel carpark. The rooms are great - spacious and practical with a lovely balcony. Breakfast is first class and they're dogfriendly too. The staff are (very) kind.

The wi-fi is a little weak. I knew this from before, so brought my own repeater, which obviates the problem.

Absolutely everything else : the friendly staff (dog-friendly too ??), the class, the comfort, the wonderful walks along the stream and into the forest behind, the quiet, the good breakfast.

The WiFi wasn't quite stable enough for a video conference.
