LOOM Hotel & Skybar

- the room was fine- the bar was ok

- no reception during the night- no cleaning if you do not put a card on the door. This came as a total surprise to us, but in the end they managed to send the housekeeper to clean the apartment- nothing special but it could be the best hotel in town!

Brand new hotel with great facilities and a rooftop bar, so you technically can stay in the hotel and not go anywhere for food, or drinks.

There is absolutely nothing around the hotel since it's an industrial area.

Hotel and Room are modern and clean. Downside is that the bathroom and toilet are separated from room by glass. Only to be closed on one side by a small (and partly detailed) curtain . In particular the toilet is pretty much on display. Not the prettiest of sights if one person is using the toilet. No option to cover the "view".

The area around the hotel is industrial, so there is noehrte to go nor anything to see.

The room and hotel is immaculately clean. Bathroom and bedroom are modern and with new fixtures. I did not realise there was a large on site gym and small spa area with sauna/steam rooms which is a nice inclusion.There is also complimentary coffee/tea's in the reception area during reception open hours.

The bathroom is contained in glass walls in the room with a single curtain screening one (of the two) wall of the bathroom from the bed area. May not be too comfortable if a member of the other party is using the facilities!

Lovely venue for a stylish small wedding.

Rooms are modern and look cool. However, as can be are in the small side.

My room was cold. The heating was not working. There is no soundproofing between the rooms

The design of the hotel was very modern and it looked good.

- there is no reception in the evening. So it works if you are German but if you are a foreigner good luck!- I stayed on the 5th floor under the Skybar. On Wednesday and Thursday night there is a huge party going on and the noise transfers.- the upgrade room is not as in North America where you have two separate beds. But just better view. Not appropriate for two colleagues. Glass bathroom so no privacy.- not all reception staff is welcoming. The gentlemen at the front desk was helpful but the rest of the staff didn’t even seem to want to greet the guests

The attitude of the Front Office manager Lukas, as the other staff were really niceMy daughter and I stayed there Friday to Sunday, on Friday night the TV in the room and the heating weren't working, we called a member of staff, and he could not fix both, he offered us a room but soon realised it was booked so we had to stay in the room without the TV and heating working. He said reception would offer us some type of refund or discount when they open the next dayThe following day my daughter and I were out of the hotel at about 6 30AM as she was there for a competition, we came back about 4PM, I spoke to reception and they offered us a new room, I refused saying that we were leaving the next morning and we were also going out for dinner that evening so we won't be in the hotel. I checked out on Sunday, the reception took my credit card number saying he would speak to his manager about a refund, I didn't hear anything from them, I sent an email mid-week, and I was told by the manager that there would be no refund and the best they could do was to offer me a free breakfast on my next trip. Hopefully I wont be staying there again

The hotel is very modern, minimalistic in its design and concept, looks great. Location is acceptable, slightly away from the centre of the town however this is walkable.

Many things... Access to reception and reception staff is very limited. Closed most of the time during my stay and therefore there was no option available to communicate with the staff. No phones in the room. No room menu in English, only German. The room itself had no fresh air as the window will not open. Shower temperature was not adjustable, probably mixing valve was broken. The worst of all was the noise levels in the bedrooms coming from the restaurant on the sixth floor - this is generally in the early hours of the morning. Would suit people that do not want to get a good rest at night.
