Calimera Sunpark Alanya - Former Sunpark Garden Hotel

I was on my way to drive my son to airport from 500km away so it was easy choice cos we have been there before.

My son who did have a 4h flight ahead couldn't use shower in my room before the flight. Instead they offer 25€ option to use other shower.

Bad

If you book a half board, the drinks are not provided, even water. And we are a family with the 2 years child. And even for a child it is not provided. So, you need to buy it extra.If you want a towel for a pool, you need to buy it for 3 euros.And if it becomes dirty, you need to change it and buy again and pay again 3 euros. Extra again.If you want to participate in their evening shows like Bingo, you need to pay (yes, again, and you are still their guest in the hotel, it is crazy!)A lot of extra payments.Also we had a cockroach in our room. The room was dirty.Nobody helped and solved this problem, so my recommendation is never book a room in Sun Park Garden.

The value for money was excellent. Everything was pretty clean, really lovely staff all round. Location is excellent loved the pool area(s) and the free private beach.

The food selection was not the best even though it was expected for the money we paid. TV’s are outdated although this wasn’t much of an issue as we only stayed 2 nights. There isnt much to dislike about this hotel. Perfect for families and groups.

Staff was nice and responsive! friendly and helpful. I recieved one unfriendly compment from a staff member which was about my nationality that I did not appreciate. Saying "This hotel is for europeans only" when he knew I was Algerian. I didn't report it or anything, but if the staff manager reads this, maybe they should have a briefing for their staff on such comments for future residents!

Food is way better than sooo many other hotels around Alanya.Water slides are nice.Staff is nice.

Play ground for kids start to be bit old.. Also minigolf..

Absolutely amazing staff, very friendly and speak good english. Perfect view from balcony. Excellent WiFi. Very good food with lots of variety. Waterpark and activities for kids were great.Free shuttle to beach nearby and had fantastic watersports and beautiful clear blue water and stunning views.

Lovely pools, fresh modern, clean rooms, lovely staff. Not over crowded. Nice atmosphere. Taxi service to Beach.

No plain food options for children on half board, paying extra for any drink with main meal.

We liked the swimming pool because big and few activity for the children’s.

The bathroom to small, when we ordered drinks likes cocktails that I felt I drink water not worthy for this price.

Kids like the pool

There are so many things;1) Beds in the room were uncomfortable. I had a backbone problem2) House keeping ladies were so unprofessional. They keep coming the in the room for cleaning. Even you do not put cleaning tags outside door. It's really annoying. 3) I feel like there is no privacy. Couples must be careful.4) We had breakfast & dinner. But there was no water included in it. We have to pay 50 to 100 lira for one or two bottles of water every time with dinner. There is shop outside hotel and same bottle of water cost 6,5 lira. But you are not allowed to bring it. 5) elevator always dirty. Cleaning standard are very bad.6) Internet was super slow and does not work in the room.7) Feels like waste of money.

Good breakfast, the pool area with enough amount of sunbeds and 3 slides (however, they worked from time to time and never all together). Everyday some show, gig or other activity, they have a schedule for all days from afternoon till evening

No one asked if everything is ok, the personal didn't care at all after check-in. The luxe room is too small for family (1 bedroom + 1 living room), it has a kitchen with pan and skillet, but there's neither oven nor grill, nor whatever heating appliance except microwave. And there's such a small table where it's uncomfortable to eat. So the hotel is oriented towards all-inclusive guests, but we used the option with breakfast only. The bathroom doesn't have a closable door, noisy in the room when someone takes a shower and less private. Quite far from the beach but we rented a car and it wasn't a problem for us.

We had a wonderful stay an Sunpark. The kids absolutely loved it. The aqua park was fun. The food was lovely and the staff were very helpful when needed. The daily performances were also rather entertaining and the family are already looking forward to coming back.

As good as the hotel is, it is out the way a little if you want to be more central during your stay. One or two excursions cancelled as we were supposedly too far but other than that it wasn’t too bad. There are a few markets close by and a supermarket on the doorstep.

Nothing but as suggesstion, better to have life guard at the aquapark pool

The facilities are great with nice pools and activities for the kids. Animation team is great and especially the girl in kids club. Our kids liked her a lot.

The cleaning in rooms are really bad. We told the reception but nothing happend. Housekeeping do not clean floors at all and we found a lot of stuff from earlier guests in room. They dont fill up soap and schampoo och do not empty wastebasket. Towels are the same all week although we leave them on the floor when they need to be changed. Food from buffet is tasty but you need to be there when it opens. Otherwise it is not so much left after 30 min. These things are so easy to fix and it will be a great place to spend your holiday. They probably need a new hotel manager och some staff working there.

We recently stayed at this hotel as a family of four, and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy for us to relax after a day of exploring. The facilities were perfect for a family, with plenty of activities to keep both the kids and adults entertained.Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended for families looking for a great hotel experience!

City center is too far to walk

The room was modern, spacious and clean. Excellent value for the price. Unfortunately I didn't have time to use all the benefits like access to Cook's Club beach at Kleopatra during this visit, the overall package definitely extends the value for money way beyond expectations and compared very favorably with other options in the area.

The only thing I would appreciate is availability of 1 large bed instead of 2 single matresses for single accommodation)
