- Nice big room, exceptionally clean, great shower, shared kitchen with stuff to buy was a nice touch. Easy walk into downtown from a lovely quiet location next to the river. Had one meal in the restaurant which was really nice, massive portions!

- I know the town, but have never before stayed overnight. The hotel is on a quiet street by the river. Check-in was easy via the entryphone and a lockbox, even though it was after 11pm when I arrived. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable, and the extra facilities were nothing short of amazing - a room with a fridge (compartments labelled for each room!) and a microwave, and a "help box" in case you needed any small thing you had forgotten. Water, tea and coffee are freely available on a self-serve basis, and there is a mini-bar with chocolate, juices, soft drinks, wine and beer that you can buy. The lady who served breakfast and took my payment was very kind and helpful, and I was able to leave my cases for a couple of hours after I checked out whilst I walked into the town to meet a colleague. I travel extensively through Europe and the UK, and can recommend this hotel 100%. I look forward to returning one day.
Cons -
- Wi-fi / internet was terrible. Unusable for gaming and constant freezing when streaming, if it worked at all. Tethered to my phone for the entire stay. Breakfast was ok rather than exceptional but didnt leave me hungry so not too bad.
- The WiFi worked, but was a bit slow, However, this was not enough to detract from a score of 10 because everything else was so good.
