    Pros +

    • Absolutely nothing
    • Wonderful view from the window
    • Location

    Cons -

    • This was the dirtiest, most broken hotel we have ever booked. The furniture was broken, the floors were too dirty to walk on with bare feet. The elevator was broken. The stairs and hallways had carpeting filled with stains, bum and horrible odor. No stars
    • The size of bathroom, not having at least a fan and if you leave window open you hear everything and can't get sleep.
    • Rather old bathroom, though clean

The hotel is just over the street from the main train station. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. My room, at the top of the stairs, was surprisingly quiet. For the age of the building, my room was quite clean.

Extremely convenient location. Easy to find the hotel from the train station. Very helpful staff. Locked luggage storage facility after I'd checked out. Private en suite bath/shower room and toilet. Lovely little café/bakery very close by, with a great little breakfast menu deal.

The room was non-smoking but someone somewhere must have been smoking heavily before I arrived or in my first evening there, as the room smelled badly of cigarette smoke - this may have come through the ventilation system. It cleared up the next day and there was no more difficulty.I don't mind that the décor is a bit tatty, given the fairly cheap price. It would make a better impression if the stairs and landings were cleaner - I think that would not be too difficult to achieve.

The receptionist is excellent!!! The hotel is in front of the train station and 10 minutes walking from bus station

The lift was broken, but the receptionist carried the bags for us

    great location 100m from station

double glazing useless as one window latch broken, so window didn't seal. Busy loaction, so all outside noise came in!More diligent cleaning-shower and bathroom required.

Location was amazing but the bathroom was broken. Not sure what the deal was with that. I

The walls are pretty thin, so I'll advise don't do anything you don't want the whole building to hear

Very central and very easy going check in

The rooms are very clairaudient, hears people f****** all night long from a room nearby ours. Also they could focus more on cleaning the facilities.

Friendly staff, good location near the station. Discounted parking across the street - need to ask the reception for a special ticket at checkout. Quite a big room, nice beds.

The building is old and it shows. Stairs are not as nice and clean as they should be. Shower looks bad with old plastic and rusty stains (maybe it's a poor design decision though). With windows to the station square, it's rather noisy; you can also hear the sounds from neighbor rooms. Parking is discounted but could be free. It seems that there are some some long-term customers with families and jobs in the rooms, giving the hotel a bit of a shady feeling.

Excellent location, good size room, staff, friendly. Parking was excellent.

Room smells of smoke, and one of the towels was dirty, probably an easy mistake to miss.

Good location, public transportation connections and good options for food..!!!

Old property, specifically the cleanliness and tidiness is not upto the mark, no proper maintenance

The hotel is just across the train station and easy access to downtown Metz by bus or walk. The bed is comfortable, the room has good view. The staff is helpful. You can store your luggage before or after stay, in locked closet. All together it is good value.

May need to ask hotel about accessibility if you are shy of stairs. Although bathroom is clean, it might need an update.

Fantastic location opposite train station, good noise insulation, comfortable beds, lovely staff at reception, good size room with small balcony, basic but sufficient for one night

Shower and shower sliding door needs fixing

    Only the location

The toilet flush isn’t working. Also they put a valve for flush tank, so you need to open the valve first but that only makes the weather leaks. It’s absolute terrible.

    7JochemPosted on: 10-8-2024

It’s on the opposite of the railway station, which is very convenient. The room is simple but big enough and clean.

The breakfast is good if you just drink a coffee or tea and a take croissant, not very abundant.
