    Pros +

    • Reception girls were very helpful and polite. The location is good, not far from historical center.Deluxe king room looks great at first sight but.... see below
    • The location of the hotel is great. The staff is very welcoming and accomodating. The room was clean and functional.
    • The beds were super comfortable, and it was so quiet in our room. There were definitely other guests staying in the rooms next to us so guessing it's well soundproofed. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place was clean. Large TV and a coffee machine which were easy to use

    Cons -

    • The shower stall was too cramped. The bed mattress was too soft.Breakfast variety could be better.
    • The room was pretty small so it is not great for a long trip. It does not have a fridge and the bathroom was freezing even though it had a small heater. Nevertheleas the shower was good and clean. The parking was a bit complicated but it did not make a difference. We would stay here again.
    • The beds in both our rooms were almost the size of the room so you have to really squeeze past to move around the end of the bed to get to bathroom etc. Ok for a young family but not good for for older people. The building was beautiful and it would be nice if the decoration matched the building style rather than the modern ibis style they've gone for.

The location at the edge of town and so close the the train station was very nice. It was a short walk to get anywhere and made our day trips by train very easy. The staff were amazing and very helpful. We stayed multiple nights so we got to interact with them a bit and I appreciated all of the advice and insider knowledge.

The room was probably the smallest we have ever stayed in. For us, it was too small. Likely would have been fine if it was one or two nights, but since we were there 6 days, the size of the room and lack of place to do any unpacking or access our belongings or store the bags out of our way, was the one thing we didn't like. It has caused us to look at size when booking hotels and apartments, so I guess a good learning moment!

Location next to train station and walking distance from centre of town. Nicely decorated rooms.

We got a room right next to the elevator. It was rather noisy early in the morning, especially people talking outside our door waiting for the elevator or making noise as they lifted their luggage into it.

small room but very convenient, everything necessary was there.

it is an old building so the walls were cold ( but it was ok because of the heaters)

Location. we could stall our two bikes save inside

Small room, to small bathroom and bed. Bad small of fried bacon in the morning through hallway coming into our room

The staff is great. Girls team (evening and morning sorry I cant remember names) help us a lot with our questions and giving suggestions. Just for a short stay for us but we might repeat if passing by again :)

Close to train station & Centre Pompidou, an easy walk into centre

Room was small, no door or curtain on shower

Friendly staff, access to limited but good quality refrigerated food, drinks and deserts in lobby and new carpet throughout hotel! Also, easy access to paid parking extremely close to hotel.

The bright red wallpaper in the hallways. Too high contrast with patterned carpet. I think the decorator got a bit carried away.

Brilliant location for train travel as it is opposite the station. Also easily walkable to the old city.I booked a standard single and yes, room 400 is very compact. But it has everything you need.

Room 400 - Beware if you are larger in size - you will not fit in the space between the wall and the basin in the bathroom. I am 159cm and 65kg and only had a few inches either side of my hips when standing sideways to the basin. The shower is small, but Ok. It is the size of the space when you step out of the shower between the basin and wall that could be an issue for bigger bodies

Extremaly small rooms. Bathroom so small as wardrobe.

Beds were comfy. Location was good.

Major initial problem. I booked a "large" 172 sq ft but got the smallest. There is a big difference in price. After first night I asked for and then demanded a bigger room. The manager insisted that it was a "superior"and therefore suitable room. At this I got angry and she finally agreed to a bigger room which had been available when I checked in the night before.Completely unacceptable and bordering on fraudulent.Fact check - the initial "superior" room was # 103. About 120 - 130 sq ft with about 9 inches between the bed and the radiator. That was my access to the bathroom. The upgraded room was ok.

Close proximity to the railway station.

Except the location very close to railway station nothing was met with my expectations. I stayed in Best & Western on several occasions in Doha Qatar. found facilities like room size, breakfast etc. are much better. Moreover 1st night i had to stay in a room where commode seat was broken and in spite of reporting neither it was fixed nor room was changed.
