Everything. I really liked this hotel. Nothing fancy, but everything good, clean, reasonably priced. Great breakfast, wonderful staff.
We liked the shower ( little separate from the ensemble so it didnt leak water overall) and that it was well thought hanging hooks in the bathroom. Comfy bed. Good location, close to the center

Comfy, close to train station, nice staff, easy check in, dark room, nice bathroom, balcony.
Room was hot without AC but staff provided me with fan. Late check out costs extra €.
I stayed for one night from April 13 to 14. The room was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. However, it seems best suited for a single person under 1.9 meters tall—taller guests may find their feet touching the balcony door while lying in bed.Tip for future guests: If you're tall, consider checking the bed length with the hotel in advance to ensure a more comfortable sleep. The balcony was spacious, and the bathroom was comfortable with all necessary amenities. The hotel’s location is convenient—just a 10-minute walk to the city center.Breakfast was simple but tasty, including a small selection of sausages, omelette, and a nice variety of pastries and baked goods. It cost €14 and was worth it.
The hotel is called Hôtel Escurial – Centre Gare, which suggests it’s right next to the train station. In reality, it takes about 7–8 minutes to walk there with luggage, which can be a bit inconvenient if you're expecting direct station access.
Location, friendly staff
Aged amenities and the noise from the street was quite bad.
New, clean, location, perfect receptionist

The rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean. The breakfast was a nice experience with a lot of choices to try. The hotel staff are friendly.
Great location, it provided everything a treaveller needs, clean and the staff was helping and polite.
The room was too small. Especially the bathroom. The door to the bathroom could not open fully because it hit the bed.
Awful, I had to leave 15 minutes after I arrived, look for a room in another hotel at 9.30pm and I was not even asked to
The room wasn’t properly cleaned, the bathroom was smelling like sewer and even if I opened the window the smell took over the whole room. The lighting inside and outside the room were not working properly.
Was suitable for a cheap single night in Metz
Expensive breakfast
Breakfast is good.Room is comfortable and clean.Totally very good satisfied.
Bathroom has bathtub. Shower nozzle wasnot good. Because water spread wrong way.
Staff was kind and helpful, property was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The shower and the toiletries were great and just what we needed after a long day of travel.
It was perfect
Location was very good. We could park our car inside a garage within 7 min walking distance, with relatively good price (9.5 EUR for 24 hours) because the hotel had an agreement with that garage. on the street it is much more expensive. You can just go ahead and park in the garage. When you want to leave with your car, just bring the paper that hotel gave you alongside the parking ticket/card that was printed from the machine to the person at the office inside the parking garage so that you pay the discounted price only.Breakfast was very nice.
We could hear the people staying at a neighboring room, but was not very disturbing.
Friendly staff good breakfast
Tiny rooms, tiny bedroom, outdated
Location
Bathroom was terrible So darkAverage cleanNo ventilation Normal breakfast
We were given a larger room which had a bath - excellent! The hotel was quiet but with a second internal door we heard nothing; combined with a very comfortable mattress we had a great nights sleep. A reduced hotel rate for parking nearby was very helpful as well as a Genius reduction on the room. We will be back.
We like that for the price we are in an indépendant hotel, that has a lot of charm and is comfortable. I remember to read that some people found the facilities old but it’s so nice to see old which is so well maintained, to us it’s charming
