Esperides Hotel

Exceptional family like hospitality, the owners are very welcoming and warm as well as the staff.We love that they offer breakfast and traditional Cretan buffet for dinner. Excellent food!

Stayed here around the same time last year. The hotel is very good and excellent value for money. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. There is a large pool and sun terrace. Rooms are cleaned every day. We had a corner room and so two balconies. The Esperides is just a short distance from the centre of Myrtos, restaurants and the beach. There is ample on site parking. We didn’t eat at the Esperides but drinks and food seemed very reasonable.

The pool ladders have simple round steps which are widely spaced rather than flat steps making it difficult or potentially hazardous to enter or leave the pool for anyone with mobility issues. My partner uses a crutch and could not use the pool because of these tricky pool ladders.

The mountain view from the room (at the back of the hotel) was amazing. Short walk to the beach. The room decor was not too long ago updated. You find all the basic facilities for a short stay (we stayed for one night).

All and all the place is quite worn out. Situated by the main road which you have to cross to get to the beach and restaurants. The breakfast wasn't worth the money.

The hotel has plenty of free on site parking and is located on the main road, about a 5 minute walk from the beach. For the cost it was a nice clean room with a decent bathroom and a small balcony with sea view, excellent value.

The village of Myrtos is ideal for peaceful holiday and swimming. The hotel is conveniently located at the beginning of the shops/ restaurants and close to the beach. It is easy to go on day trips to Ieraptra as well. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms and the pool are cleaned on a daily basis. We were very lucky to have one of the renovated rooms (modern furniture compared to others). Breakfast and restaurant choices are decent. Overall, I would recommend staying to Esperides; value for money!

The double bed was a bit narrow and the balcony a bit small.

Actually hotel is positioned on road junction to Myrtos. Luckily, there were not frequent traffic at the time we were there. Myrtos is a small village very cute and affordable for a holiday stay. It is inconvenient to cross the road every day to go to the beach .Hotel is clean, staff is kind, breakfast is good. Hotel need some investment attention but everything is functional. It is very good for that money.

Great breakfast! Very friendly, old fashioned hotel, the way we like them. The swimming pool is very nice, the terrace with the wonderful bougainvillea is so relaxing. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely clean property with fabulous Mountain View’s. It looks a bit dated from the outside. Do not be put off by this it’s amazing and is ideally placed for the village amenities. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower was amazing. Loved and would stay here again

A family run hotel just on the outskirts of the village. We were in a newly renovated room and they had done a great job with materials colors, and fittings. The breakfast, as you will see from the previous reviews are legendary.

The position of the hotel is amazing, very calm with no other houses around, but in 2 minutes you are on the beach and in the center with many tavernas, cafes and supermarkets. also the outside area of the hotel is so beautiful with lots of tables, flowers, a swimming pool with a stunning view on the cretan landscape of trees and mountains. the owner alexandros is very friendly, as i am trying to learn greek he was organizing to give me a greek book. the room very clean and nice view, good shower, comfortable bed. i would always come back to esperides if i go to myrtos.

Fab location on the edge of the village.Proper double bed, really comfortable and with a light duvet perfect for this time of year.Staff friendly and helpful. Room spotless, fridge and kettle provided. Gret lighting and enough sockets.

I really enjoyed the view of the surrounding countryside from the balcony on my room! In addition, breakfast was delicious fresh local food, prepared with care each day by the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Very friendly family hotel. Good food and good people. The hotel is in a very convenient location. Located next to the ruins of a Minoan village and a short drive to the Sarakinas Gorge. The breakfast offered many choices and was very good. The recommendations they made for restaurants on the beach were spot on. We live on Crete and will be going back.

Great location close to centre of the lovely Myrtos and beach. Staff friendly and helpful. Good clean pool and pool area. Breakfast was varied and good for the price. Plenty of car parking spaces

Decoration is a little bit tired but the hotel and rooms are clean and good value for money.

Accommodation in this hotel was very pleasant. Own parking lot, helpful staff. The complementary breakfast provided a great choice.
