Doernersches Haus

Traditional German house with very spacious rooms (apartment 6). Convenient parking right at the door (just 10 meters away). Stayed nice and warm inside despite the freezing weather outside. Safe and calm area. Good value for the money.

The ceiling was quite low (max 2 meters), with wooden beams that made some areas even lower. The equipment was minimalistic - there's a fridge but no electric kettle, cups, plates, or spoons. Clean towels were provided, but you'll need to bring your own shower gel. The breakfast was very good, but options are limited, so if you stay longer, expect it to be very similar each day.

This old building is charming and our bedroom was large and very comfortable up on the top floor. We were met by the owner who showed us to our room, also where to find breakfast (really close by and delicious!). He gave us details for evening meals. All these instructions were also in a booklet in the room. The house is situated near the main centre - easy for facilities - but is really quiet.

Just know, that reception and breakfast are not in the same building, but within a short walking distance.

My stay – just like last time – was perfect. The peaceful surroundings, the calm atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the spaciousness are all reasons why I’ll keep coming back whenever I’m in Walldorf

it is beautiful in an ideal location. the manager is very pleasant. the village has many restaurants and is welcoming and quaint.

We liked staying in an old, spacious house where everything worked. We also liked the parking provided under shady trees. We appreciated the proximity to all the facilities: restaurants, shops, banks etc.

The breakfast in a nearby bakery was ok and the staff were exceptionally friendly. But what they had to offer was limited.

Clean quite and owner very welcoming

The host was extremelly welcoming. It was easy and fast to communicate with him in english. I had to do some changes in my schedule and they were made swiftly and without any headache. Self-check-in was easy, with a lock for the key. The room was identical to the pictures, very spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower and the bed were amazing. The small porch was the charm. The breakfast at the bakery was simply delicious everyday, and had a lot of options to choose from. People at the bakery spoke english which helped a lot. The localization is perfect, at walking distance to the city center, church, restaurants, stores and etc. 15-20min walking distance from SAP. 2 min walking distance from the bus stop which goes to the train station and to SAP. My stay was perfect and I recommend this place to all my colleagues who stay in Walldorf.

My family stayed at Doernersches Haus on a nostalgic trip to Walldorf. It was a lovely haven in a beautiful town. Gorgeous old building with comfy bedding, tons of space, and wonderful ambiance.

We had a nice comfortable and quiet stay. Doernersches Haus was a perfect rest stop for our travel.

All was fine.

The accommodation was very nice, comfortable and clean. A fairytale cottage, beautifully renovated. The host was extremely kind, helpful and flexible. I can only recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

The guesthouse was lovely and quaint. The beamed room was large with seating. The owner whilst not on site was available at any time. Breakfast was in a nearby baker's. Parking for our motorcycle was safe.

The temperature and the spray in the shower were difficult to adjust.
