We had a wonderful stay at anthoula sun! the owners - Dimitris and Anthoula - are lovely people who take really good care of their guests. The rooms are simple, but very clean - they’re cleaned daily and provide everything you need. Dimitris even provides you with an umbrella for the beach, so you don’t have to rent one. It feels like visiting your long lost grandparents :) Larissa & Erik

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. These traditional Greek rooms were fine for a couple of nights, it was in a quiet area, only a short walk into town, which is a lovely vibrant Greek town.

The mattresses were uncomfortable.

The owners very friendly, location is perfect, we explored all island with scooter in a week. Price very good with including breakfast. Breakfast good ( coffees, tea, bread, cheese, ham, butter, boiled eggs, jam). We got us sun umbrella from owner to used all week for free.

The hotel owner is very hospitable and friendly. The facility has shortcomings due to its age, but it is a much more pleasant experience when a facility run by such sweet people remains untouched in this way.

The owner Dimitri is a very nice person , since the day of arrival until last day we talked with him , he gives us some advices about food and places to visit . Room is cleaned every day. The price is very good for what you get. We rent the room just for sleep so we don’t expect 5 stars . I see a lot of bad reviews here but from people who want 5 stars at very low price . We also looked for reviews when we chose something but many bad reviews are just because people don’t understand that here is not all inclusive is just to have a clean room, a good shower , nice owners and a good price . We also had breakfast included which is a basket of bread , a few slices of ham and cheese , eggs, marmelade , tea and coffee.

The only thing that we didn’t like were mosquitoes but you can ask from Dimitri to give tablets against them . Mosquitoes you will find on the whole island in the night so …

This hotel is so beautiful. Me and my husband spent 3 days here, and we loved it. We rent motorbike, and it is lovely beaches and nature around this place. If you find the right spot, it is so relaxing. The hotel is simple, but you have what you ned. And Dimitris and his wife Are so lovely and helps you. We Will realy come back. But we recomend to have rent car og motorbike.

- It’s a family hotel owned by a nice couple Dimitros and Anthula, you feel like you’re living at your uncle and aunts place - The bed and pillow were very comfortable - The room was cleaned every day - Very cheap in comparison with other hotels - Has an air conditioner

-WiFi in our room didn’t work, so we had to sit at the common terrace at the front of the hotel - Breakfast was the same every morning, but we could bring our own yogurt

Poor breakfast, no ac in the breakfastroom, mosquitos, dated rooms, ac pays extra.

Breakfast was simple but fine. The location was a little tricky but I found it on the second pass. The air con worked well. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful.

WiFi didn't reach the room very well. The mosquitos outside were very aggressive.

The owner came out to greet us, a very warm welcone. This is a small hotel run by the owner and his wife, located within a precious authentic setting, away from tourism even in July. Everything is modest but all utilities are there.

A kettle so as to make a drink in the evening would have been really nice.

For its price, it is the best hotel you can find. It is not a luxury hotel but it is clean and close to the beaches. It is a family hotel and owner is very kind and generous person. He and her wife help you whatever you ask. They clean the rooms everyday. It was excellent experience for us.

I liked the place. I felt I had my privacy. A good sized room. Well maintained. Soap, clean towels and sheets most days. Fridge and air con really helped. I enjoyed the view. It's a short walk into the village where you will find all that you need. There are bus connections but I struggled to get a taxi. It's not great if you don't drive. Really worth seeing if you have a car to get around. A simple but enjoyable breakfast was served each morning. Great value.

The family environment. Dimitri and Anthoula really help us with everything we needed and more. They gave us the best tips to discover the island like locals.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. Really comfortable beds. Cleaned every day. Fee breakfast. Really close from the center of Archangelos. And the best was once more the staff.

Good location, with food shops and restaurants next to it. A lot of good beaches for swimming within 10 - 20min drive. Yes, you will need a car in Rhodes if you like to make most of your holiday. Rooms are very clean. They are cleaned and changed every day. Breakfast is included, but))) Its one boiled egg, 2 slices of yellow cheese, 2 slices of ham (very basic one), 2 slices of bread, a basket of a couple jams(although new flavours everyday), and butter per person. Instant coffee and concentrated orange juice (not the breakfast you would expect to have in Greece). If you do not have high expectations for breakfast then it is fine. Second day we bought food from a local shop for breakfast.Although we agreed online that our 15 year old kid could stay with us in the double room, on arrival we were booked into a triple room and were charged extra for "breakfast" and an additional bed. We were also charged 5 euro per day for air con. Although it was in the description, you have to take it as you do not have the option to keep the door open while you sleep as there is no netting around it and there are many mosquitos around this area, so the mosquitos will have a feast. We were given mosquito repellent plug-in, but they do nothing.CASH PAYMENT ONLY. Make sure you exchange your money to euro before arriving at Rhodes. Taking cash from a cash machine for the hotel there will cost you 20% more compared to what you would pay online. In the end, our stay cost us more than the amount as we could've paid for a much more comfortable place in Rhodes. However, most of the time, we were traveling through the island and only spent the nights in the room.The owner, Dmitris, and his wife Anthula (who he built the hotel for and named after her) were very nice and hospitable people, and gave us advice on how to spend our time in Rhodes to the fullest, which we are very thankful for.

Bathroom....very clean and being cleaned every day, but it's designed the way that you spend as little time as possible in there. 0 comfort. The room is big and clean but very worn-out. Balcony is a nice addition but useles because of mosquitos, they are everywhere.
