Comfortable room, nice view, great location ?

Lovely rooms, great view, a really friendly and helpful landlord.

Wonderful apartment, good size, plenty of facilities & excellent location near the centre of Chora, and Dimitris was very helpful,

The room was nicely decorated and cleaned regularly. Any slight issues ( door handle broke ) were immediately put right. Dimitris was very helpful with any advice required and arranged car hire at a good rate for me, also a reasonably priced taxi to meet me at the airport on arrival. The views were very good - over the harbour area and most of the Chora area up past the windmills to the castle. Sunrise worth getting up early for too. Very quiet generally . A slight slope up from the main road and just a couple of short flights of steps to the apartment. 5 minutes walk to the restaurants in Chora. Walk down to the harbour takes about 20 mins at a steady pace., passes a supermarket and grocery shop. Take your time coming back up . No rush anyway. Worth hiring a car for a few days at least ( the main road is good for most local places - further on it turns to a rocky road surface in places so you might need a jeep type car if you want to be really adventurous and visit the more remote beaches ). But most traffic is light and flows at a slowish pace and there's at least 4 beaches within 20 minutes drive that are on the good road.

Can't really say there wasn't anything I didn't like. Slight disappointment that the wi-fi for me was a bit hit and miss sometimes. But I was on holiday - not playing about on the ipad all day. The sound does travel through the walls a bit - but if your neighbours are considerate then its not much of an issue.

We absolutely loved our stay. The room was comfortable, decorated perfectly, everything in working order, had everything we needed. The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the center of town and restaurants. We loved sitting out on the porch enjoying the view. The space allowed us privacy while still offering a chance to speak to your neighbors. The host was super helpful in familiarizing us with the area, with services and with recommendations. Definitely recommend!!!

We were in the premium room and the views to the chora were amazing, we could see the sunrise every morning from the bed, how cool is this?! The location cannot be better, just 1 min walk from the chora and the room was wonderful, with a great terrace and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Everything was perfect but just to mention something as a recommendation, the host could provide more details about the island and beaches, rentals, etc.

A very nice bright and airy-feeling room, with a well-equipped kitchen and stunning view over the old harbour of Astypalea. It is also within very easy walking distance of the old Chora, and the bed was also very comfy.

The showerhead was broken in our room, and it was impossible to shower without the squirting water sideways out the shower and soaking the rest of the bathroom. Also, after booking on booking.com, the owner contacted me to say that the room was not available for the dates I had selected (after we had already booked our onwards ferries). This meant that we had to change to another hotel, which was not ideal.

A great property with a breathtaking view and a host who is next to you accommodating anything you ask for! Thank you again for making our trip amazing!
