    • Pleasant breakfast and bar area … gorgeous views, friendly , helpful staff.
    • The owners Dimitri and Anna are gracious and kindHighly recommend the boat trip Eva’s Wave a beautiful all day boat trip with fabulous foodWe had a double room suite very large with 2 bathrooms Very large spotless Breakfast excellent
    • This is the best hotel in the island of Astypalaia. The staff and the owners were the most gracious of any hotel in a Greek island I have visited in the last 50 years. During the last day when we had no car they offered and did give us a ride to the nearby beach. They also were very kind to come and pick us up to return us to the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and so was the risotto I had one night that we decided not to go to the center of the town. The hotel is just outside the main town, Hora, but close enough to walk to the windmills area where several bars and restaurants were available.

    Cons -

    • Nothing, pool area could have been kept up a little better but it was end of season too.
    • Liked everything
    • The hotel does not have its own beach but this is the case with all hotels in Astypalaia, and most other Aegean islands.

I stayed at this lovely hotel for 6 nights and had an exceptional experience. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—especially Anna, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the location: stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and easy access to everything I needed. The breakfast was another standout—fresh, delicious, and served in a setting that made every morning feel special.I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Astypalea and would absolutely return. A perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and unforgettable views.

Stunning views over bay, beautiful surroundings and restaurant, charismatic and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast. Used the gym every morning before the beach and had massages too at the start of the trip to help us relax.

The location is amazing, the staff super lovely and available, the room clean and quite spacious!

Breakfast was served officially from 8:30, but we tried two times to be there at 8:30 and wasn’t ready! Moreover, some of the common facilities (i.e. swimming pool) weren’t particularly clean! The feeling is they were already in closing-mood, as the end of the season is approaching!

The breakfast was amazing and the team was very helpful, rooms were spacious

    The pool could be cleaner

    9MariePosted on: 9-5-2024

The food, the view, the friendly and helpful staff. We had massages which were excellent. Not too far to walk into Chora or down to Livadi, where there are several good restaurants. The apartment was spacious and very clean and the private pool was wonderful.

The steps would be an issue for anyone with reduced mobility. There is a lift but it doesn’t go all the way down to the main pool. It would be good to provide some shade for the tables for breakfast.

Great location. Exceptional service. Lovely daily breakfast, rooftop restaurant.

    7FrancescoPosted on: 8-26-2024

Good continental breakfast, strategic quite position close to the Chora, clean room. The superior rooms have very nice balcony (not terrace) to be used for a relaxing evening reading under the moonlight.

For a Boutique hotel some improvements to be done: the rooms miss the mosquito nets, the air co is directly on the bed, so impossible to sleep with it, no available fan to be used as alternative, and the shower is open in the wrong position, too close to the toilet.

    9ΑνναPosted on: 8-20-2024

The property is very well located close to Chora (5’ walk). They offered services that accelerated our experience in the property: beach towels, sun umbrellas, welcome drinks, transfer from the airport at low fee, car rental at a good price. The owner of the hotel also organizes a cruise to the small islands and the red cliff that is great value for money, we had a great day and I strongly recommend it (100€ per person all included). Breakfast is rich and of good quality (all kind of coffees available, fresh juice, hand made pies). Moreover Astypalaia is a great place to spend your vacation with great local people and great vibes.

The pool is very small, no pool shower and not so clean. Pool area is very limited. Some poor organizational issues, with the hotel reception, prevented us of making use of the spa services which we would like very much to try. Double check that your time-slot is blocked, otherwise you may loose it.

Beautiful sea view and strategic position to visit the island

Good restaurant but few Greek menu.

    10IliasPosted on: 8-13-2024

Fantastic staff, elegant and clean rooms, and wonderful breakfast and location. Couldn’t have asked for more. Quite possibly the best hotel in Astypalaia.

    9DimitrisPosted on: 8-10-2024

Convenient Location, spacious rooms, cleanliness, staff friendliness

Not that you really need it but the pool area could be reconsidered

    9AnnaPosted on: 8-9-2024

Amazing views very nice room, fantastic staff

We had a problem with a/c

    9IoannisPosted on: 8-6-2024

Excellent location within walking distance to Chora Friendly staff. Spacious room with all the necessary facilities and a strong air conditioning system very much needed at this time of year

    9AnastasiaPosted on: 8-5-2024

Excellent location, walking distance from city centre

The A/C was not working properly the first night but they fixed it the next day very quickly

Nice Greek style hotel, breakfast was very good. Between two towns, big rooms,

Spa just a massage rooms, few rooms have a direct view, most have side view, breakfast room is under the sun becomes very hot in the morning, breakfast starts at 830,

I recently stayed at this hotel and while it has a certain charm, it is in dire need of serious renovations. On a positive note, the view and architecture of the hotel are lovely. The breakfast provided was enjoyable, and the staff, while very kind and trying their best, do not seem to be properly trained. They compensate with their pleasant personalities, but it seems that the owners, who likely reside elsewhere in Greece, are more focused on maximizing profit rather than investing in the property or enhancing the guest experience.

The rooms and pool area are quite outdated, making the current price tag unjustifiable for the standard offered.Upon arrival, I was forced to pay for an upgrade because the room I initially booked had a small 140 cm bed, which is not suitable for two adults. This is simply unacceptable. The pool, pool furniture, and pool bar are all in poor condition, adding to the overall disappointment. The air conditioners are old, and the TV seems to be from the 90s. Additionally, the WLAN connection is extremely poor, making it difficult to stay connected. In summary, despite its charming aspects, I would choose to stay elsewhere if I were to return to the island.
