Hotel Grotta

The hospitality was amazing. You really felt like you were a guest in the home. The rooms were very well kept and the facilities for such a boutique hotel were nice and plentiful. Not too many rooms so it did not feel crowded. Yummy homemade breakfast.

The staff is excellent and the location is perfect for sunset views and walks to the pier.

The rooms are rather small and the beds are 2 single put together, so a little uncomfortable for a couple.

This hotel has superb view of ocean and town and is very close to walk into town. The Jacuzzi and pool was extremely nice and unique. Well worth the money. The breakfast was wonderful and the operation of hotel was efficient,isn't.

Thought is was best hotel we stay at in Greece so no negative comment.

We stayed in 5 highly rated hotels during our trip to Greece and this was by far our favorite. The staff was incredible, the room was impeccably appointed, and the location was perfect.

The family was incredible -- so lovely, helpful and hospitable. The rooms were impeccably clean and the location was convenient to the city and port. The breakfast was a feast and I wish we could have stayed longer!

Awesome service

Breakfast was amazing, never had to eat til dinnertime. Both front desk staff were amazing, especially the afternoon lady, Aino? I’m terrible with names. She went out of her way to help me with everything. The evening dining guy was lovely too. Great view from upstairs patio. The sauna was a great plus too. They made me feel very welcome. The island hospitality just shone,so different from Athens

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great, easy access to town but in quiet location bordering the water with great views.

Wish I had stayed on Naxus longer.

It's a great location just a short walk from the main town. It was nice to be just outside the town where it was a little more quiet and peaceful. The property was extremely well maintained, clean, and had a beautiful view. The hotel has small whirlpool, sauna, and steam room that can be used by reservation. It was nice to use those facilities privately with just our family.We were offered free transfer from the airport to the hotel. Also, we left on a ferry and got driven down to the port. The rooms were definitely comparable to a higher end hotel. The breakfast was probably the best part of the stay. Everything felt homemade, abundant, and delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and it definitely had a family feel.

Our family of four had to split into two rooms which was the only downside. I don't know if they have larger rooms or suites. Out rooms were next to each other so it wasn't too much for a problem.

Room was first class. Daily room service. Huge terrace. Fantastic breakfast, everything home made. They even left a slice of cake in our room each day. Fresh coffee all day. The staff were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Free shuttle to airport and ferry.

Not a complaint, just a suggestion… it would be good to have a more comfortable bar area.

The breakfasts and spa were truly exceptional. All members of the staff were extremely helpful and kind. Short walk to Naxos old town. Beautiful views of the ocean from the dining area.

The view alone makes the stay worth it but in addition to that, the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Rooms are very well kept, clean and were a great place to relax after a day out. The laundry service was an added benefit that made traveling easier. To top it all off, the breakfast was incredible and will be sorely missed!

The only minor challenge was the shower - slightly on the small side and without a shower door the water often spilled out. Otherwise no complaints!

What a delightful experience at Hotel Grotta! From the gorgeous setting to the immaculate & spacious accommodations, we immediately felt the comfort. And then you meet the lovely staff and feel their genuine hospitality! Everyone was warm and friendly, and Konstantina and Aino went out of their way to make us feel welcomed with their personalized attention and charm. We visited at the very end of the season (late October, early November) so many things were closed for the season, but they helped us find open restaurants and experiences and made our stay special. We would love to return to Naxos and would definitely stay at Hotel Grotta!

The staff were wonderful and so helpful. They felt like good family by the time we left. There was always someone cleaning. An easy 5min walk to town. The included breakfast was beyond amazing.

We stayed here for 6 nights and cannot imagine a better stay.As a full-time professor and hospice nurse, I came to Naxos hoping for a stay that would replenish my soul, and Hotel Grotta did exactly that. From the moment we arrived, every detail has reflected genuine care and hospitality.We were warmly welcomed by one of the staff at the ferry port, who cheerfully helped with our bags and drove us to the hotel- - 5 minute drive at most. Upon check-in, Connie invited us to relax outside with a breathtaking view while she brought homemade quiche and a refreshing drink. Our room was ready hours before the official check-in time, and our luggage had already been carried up for us!! These were all such thoughtful touches that set the tone for our stay.Everything about Hotel Grotta is thoughtfully planned out: the natural pebble-shaped soap, the rain shower with excellent water pressure, and the impeccable cleanliness. Most of all, the kindness and attentiveness of Connie, Konstantina, Aino, and the entire team make you feel like part of the family. They genuinely care about your experience, YOU, and share wonderful tips for exploring the island.Breakfast is a feast!!! Wow!! Includes homemade sweet and savory dishes, fresh fruit, juice, and delicious coffee, served with a panoramic view. The generous breakfast hours encourage you to just hang out and enjoy the moment. Contrary to what a previous reviewer indicated, Connie, Konstantina, and the entire team make sure you do not feel rushed and are the epitome of friendliness and genuine care and hospitality. We actually were at breakfast at the same time as the other reviewer and the interaction she described never happened. Do not let that detract you from staying here.The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short 5–7 minute walk down a scenic gravel path to Naxos town, or 10 minutes by road.

Absolutely nothing!!!

What an amazing place! The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect as it is a close walk to everything you need yet a little out of town so quiet. The rooftop is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Very clean and comfortable! And the breakfast is absolutely amazing!
