Porto Naxos

It was clean, very attractive and updated. Very helpful staff. Although the immediate area around the hotel is not terribly attractive, it was very safe, and just a 5 minute walk to a bit nicer area

We seemed to have a lot of mosquitoes somehow get into the room, despite not having windows or doors open. Occasionally a bad smell hovered on the property. It was just enough on the outskirts of town to be away from it all, but maybe just a bit too far out. They had what we thought was a hot tub next to the pool, but it was VERY cold. We came in early October when the weather was cooler and more wet, so maybe it was a cold plunge pool for the hot summer, but there was no where to warm up for us.

Everything from the staff, to the pool and the breakfast was a five star experience ❤️

Beautiful facilities! Incredible staff! Amazing location that is across the street from a market and next to delicious food. It’s walking distance from the downtown/ main area yet tucked away so not too noisy. The free parking and free breakfasts were amazing; as was the state of the art pool and pool bar. I couldn’t recommend Porto Naxos any more!

Everything was amazing! Only small thing to be aware of is the shower water gets on the floor easily, but really not a big deal at all

It is very relaxed, great location to walk to town. Staff all helpful and friendly. Pool is a lovely area, mix of sun and shade. Hotel layout comfortable. There is a supermarket across road and local busstop.

The staff were friendly especially the young male waiter. The location was good for travelling to various locations and beaches.

Operations were inefficient (eg bar staff needing to go inside hotel for card machine EVERY time).Some elements of room were not 4 star like the shower. Also electrics by shower were loose.We had to get tea and sugar every day from reception.Breakfast was average in terms of choice compared to all other hotels we have stayed in.

Great hotel to relax at with a lovely pool, filling buffet breakfast and friendly staff.

Location and cleanliness

The bathrooms need updating and the bar and breakfast was off the mark - the breakfast buffet could be better and the pool bar service was inconsistent. The bathroom and shower was a relic from the 80s.

Great location, with a short walk to the beach and the town centre. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Beautiful clean pool and gardens. Staff were helpful. Easy check in and check out.

Clean, and staff cleaning all day around the property. Very friendly attentive staff. Property was very pleasing visually. Walking distance of major shopping and eating centers.

Slightly further out of town so a bit of a walk but this was handy if you have a car and don’t want to drive in the crazy traffic.

Lovely property in a great location walking distance to the beach and the town, with a supermarket right opposite. Very helpful reception host and friendly breakfast staff. Nice large pool.

Breakfast and the pool should open earlier. With such hot days we want to be up and about early while it is a bit cooler but the facilities weren’t open. Also all the excursions start at 8.00 so no breakfast could be obtained prior to leaving (although they were lovely and did give me some much needed coffee!). Otherwise all was lovely.

Nice location, not in the hectic centre of town but walkable in 15 mins max (safe roads). The pool area is lovely, plenty of space for everyone and very clean. Our room was really big, handy when you have big suitcases. The pool view rooms looked lovely, hindsight we should have booked that to get more use of the balcony. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and local treats. Then reception staff were very helpful with local knowledge about beaches, buses and taxis. The bus was super easy, and the beach which is close to the hotel was really gorgeous. Cute open air cinema next door too!! Also a really good supermarket right opposite which was handy.

Road was a bit noisy at times, bed was very hard, shower was awkward and would flood the bathroom floor

Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good. Walking distance to the port and nice restaurants. Super market across the road.

The music by the pool/bar seemed to repeat a little bit.

Hotel needs an overhaul, bathroom with conventional bathtub, no rainshower, breakfast buffet with little healthy food option, which is provided though if u ask for but it takes time..not really a cool place

- spacious, bright room- free parking in front- great location for the beach AND the city- supermarket across the road-friendly and helpful staff

- the breakfast could have been better (not a lot of options if you‘re gluten free since it‘s a look of baked foods, they DO have gluten free bread), like more fruits and cold cuts
