Pros +
- The buffet would have been acceptable except for the many cats in the restaurant.
- The breakfast was very good and offered until 11am which let us sleep. The hotel was very close to the beach (although you have to pay a minimum to use the sunbeds). Lots of dining options nearby too.
- The pool areas where nice and on to the beach, front desk staff were wonderful
Cons -
- The hotel is in need of an update from the hotel lobby to the bedrooms.
- The lobby and hotel was…ok. clean but dated. The staff at breakfast seemed bored or uninterested. Breakfast was extensive! The food sits out under lamps for some time so hot food gets dry and hard but there is lots of options. the front staff were great and the housekeeping team. Its was slow and seemed as though the team were very ready to be done for the season. Non of the pools are heated so the suit pools that don’t get much sun are a cold plunge! The other pools were quite cold as well the ocean was warmer. They removed all the beach cushions as it rained and they never went back, many people were sitting on the wood beads instead. The spa is a room that gets used and they call Someone in to use it when needed, not a true spa. the hot-tub and sauna are an extra charge, we didn’t know that and haven’t seen that before …therefor didn’t use them. The feeling overall that we came up with was …weird. In the very peak of summer this may be an awesome option.
- Bed linens are a bit dingy and could be replaced, at least one bottle of water should be provided each day since water is not drinkable, and breakfast hot items could be warmer.

Right on Plaka Beach, clean rooms, very nice staff, complimentary pickup and dropoff at the ferry port, two pools with lots of sun beds and umbrellas, close to restaurants and bus stop, good breakfast. Charming, unpretentious town.

I had a wonderful stay at the Aegean Palace. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax right away. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything felt thoughtfully cared for. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay.
Everything met or exceeded my expectations.
The staf at the bar are really friendly and helpfull the guy with the small blond beard and the women with the light brown/blond hair are just so friendly. I would give them a job if i had a hotel myself. They diserve a raise for their care and services.
What is there not to like????
Location is good if you just want to visit the beach. It's a quick walk from the beach road and close to restaurants.
Definitely didn't need to book the room with the private pool. It was not worth the money. The rooms with the pool face the road so there's no view and you're on display to everyone coming in and out of the hotel. Breakfast is included but selection wasn't great so we skipped after the first day.
Basic, but clean room for a family of three. We had a view of the pool and could see the beach. Short walk to the beach from hotel. Breakfast/restaurant was great. All staff is friendly and helpful. Many restaurants in the area and there’s a bus stop close by to take into Naxos Town.
Only complaint was the bed as it was a very hard/firm mattress.
No dislike at all, was everything fantastic. Polite staf, good breakfast beautiful room, free taxi from port to hotel and back. Will go again for sure, thank you.
We’ve had the room with private pool, maybe for next time a bit of privacy will be much appreciated, like some kind of plants to divide pools from one another.
Vicinity to the beach
We stayed at Aegean Palace expecting a relaxing and luxurious experience, especially considering we paid €250 per night. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we anticipated. The most alarming and unacceptable incident was a housekeeping staff member barging into our room at 6 AM without knocking. We were asleep at the time, and it was a terrifying and deeply unsettling experience. There is absolutely no excuse for entering a guest’s room that early without prior notice or at least knocking. It left us feeling unsafe and disrespected.Aside from that, the hotel itself felt overrated and overpriced. We booked a room with a private pool, but the view was of the parking lot, and the area was far from private – anyone passing by could see directly into our space, which defeated the purpose entirely. Also, despite staying at the hotel, sunbeds on the beach were not complimentary for guests – something I would have expected to be included at this price point.I could have overlooked the lack of privacy or the extra charges for sunbeds, but someone walking into our room unannounced at 6 AM is simply unforgivable. I would strongly advise others to reconsider staying here, especially if you're looking for a peaceful, private, and well-managed experience.
Clean. Spacious. Friendly staff.
Location
Spacious, lots of towels provided, staff is really kind and pleasant, very accommodating.
excellent breakfast, great location
bed not comfortable
We stayed at Anna's Aegean Palace for 5 nights with our two little kids and enjoyed the stay very much!- great breakfast- very friendly staff- cleaning every day- free coffee in the room- free and very comfortable pickup from and to the harbour with two baby seats in a big car in a very good condition- beach is very closeWe got upgraded to a private poo suite because it was the last week of the season and nobody booked it. Thank you so so much for that! =)
- nothing
It was clean and had rooms with personal hot tubs! The hot tub was clean and a nice temperature. Breakfast was excellent more options for a buffet than expected. We had a very nice stay
Drinks on the beach I felt was priced a little high compared to other prices in Naxos. But everything was perfect with our stay.
What can I say, absolutely exceptional!! Anna and her staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group! First of all, we were greeted with happy, smiling faces that made us feel right at home. Whatever they could do to make our stay feel like home, they did with the utmost positivity and professionalism. I could probably write a whole page about how lovely the whole staff were and how great the accommodations were! The upgraded rooms that we stayed in had a mattress that felt like heaven (seriously haven't slept that good in a long time). You are literally a 30 second walk to the beachfront (which is absolutely gorgeous). There are two amazing pools as well with a kiddie pool and a little playground for kids. The food was amazing and the oreo ice cream shake was so yummy! I can't wait to come back again, not only to stay on this beautiful property but also to connect with the amazing staff!
It's a little far from the city center, but the staff is so kind to arrange transport and it's only about a 15 minute drive to the city center. And, even with this, I wouldn't say it's a negative thing because we really loved being in the serene environment of Aegean Palace. If we didn't want to go to the city center, there were a lot of restaurants on the beach that were only about a 5-10 minute walk that were really great and had live music as well as tables to eat on the beach!
Nice breakfast. Liked the location although it is a bit out of town there are things nearby. Excellent and attentive staff
The rooms pictured look nothing like the room we got and they charge €40 to lay on the sunbeds on the beach (via a minimum consumption fee).
Aegean Palace was the perfect resort to relax and enjoy your time in Naxos. The facilities at the resort were great, 2 spacious and very clean pools with loads of sunbeds to use. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. And food was great. Breakfast was great with a large variety of choices. You are literally a footstep away from the beach, the water crystal clear, clean and again with sunbeds- you do need to purchase something from the bar (snack or drink or coffee) to not have to pay for sunbeds on beach but in comparison to what you pay on other islands or beaches it’s nothing. My teenagers loved their time at Aegean and we would definitely go back and highly recommend to family and friends.Great variety of restaurants along the board walk and bus stop into town outside resort you really only need 1 visit into town to have a look around at the souvenir shops and retail shops and visit the Temple of Apollo. The resort also offers transfers for your stay to/from port/airport on your arrival and departure- not many places offer this so really appreciate that. The owner and staff were truly amazing, rooms cleaned daily and were available to assist when needed.
Everything was perfect
GOOD BREKFAST. GOOD LOCATION. FACILITIES GOOD FOR FAMILY STAY.
This is placed right in the town Square. So many restaurants, shopping and so close to historical sites.
