    Pros +

    • Great location
    • The hotel is nice overall. It’s located in the nice area with close proximity to shops and restaurants and the Pier. Buffet breakfast (eggs, sliced meats and cheeses, bakery goods) is good with great coffee! Bed, pillows and towels are nice and soft. Nice and quiet.
    • Location of the hotel on Naxos was perfect. Beach was not even a block away from the hotel (semi-private path to beach). The town center was a few blocks away with many restaurants and shops. Although the port and old town looks far away on a map - it's just past the town center and easily walkable for all the restaurants and shops in that area.

    Cons -

    • Please do not waste your money on eating at the hotel besides the buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, I got the dinner option, thinking it was buffet style, which was not, and got extremely disappointed all weekend we stayed there. Decided to give a shot for a second night after first night extreme disappointment, per manager’s suggestion. But should have canceled and got my money back at the first night. The food was so bad, microwaved and it wasn’t edible. All of it. I never ate a bad Greek meal but here it was! I couldn’t believe the Greek person can cook like this. Disappointed that I didn’t get my money back. Also, maybe we didn’t get the memo because we were the only people eating at the hotel restaurant, while all the restaurants outside were having waiting lines! It should tell you something.
    • The rooms were outdated. The initial garden view rooms were got were not really garden view. We had to ask them to give us different rooms. The staff was friendly but it was hard to get clear information from them at times on activities or where the places they were recommending to go were.
    • Limited evening menu

Breakfast was very good. The location was outstanding, very close to the beach and walking to old town. It was a wonderful accommodation. The pool was excellent.

    The location was great

The rooms were a little dated but I understand there will be a renovation over the winter

Our room was great, breakfast was excellent, we looked forward to the pool everyday, the beach was close and nice, and the town centre was a 15 minute walk away. We had a great stay. We will recommend Naxos and Naxos Hotel and Beach Resort to family and friends. Thank you.

The breakfast buffet is very good with a variety of options. The location is great, right next to the beach and within walking distance of the old town and the port. The hotel provides you with beach towels.

    Facilities and location.

Early check in that was promised four months prior (did not happen). Front desk receptionist acted like she had never seen the request before. I actually saw hand written notes on my check in paperwork. She said she would call us when the room was ready, never did!!! Yet, I saw her go and tell others that there room was ready. So, our room key didn’t work when we first showed up, my husband had to go back to the reception area to get another key. Our last night there, the lights would not come on, because of a defective room key, and Management had to bring a new room key!

Close to beach and town, nice breakfast

For the price, I’d expect a nicer roommany rooms look at alleys, ours wasn’t half as nice as pics show, worn furnishings

Location was great, with pool on site, beach a minute away and easy walk into town. Staff was also very helpful.

Bed was comfortable but room could’ve been a little nicer with

The best part is its location—just steps from the beach and a short walk into Naxos town. Beyond that, there wasn’t much that stood out as exceptional. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful, the grounds were well maintained, and the pool area was large and enjoyable. The outdoor pool bar was also a nice touch and stayed open fairly late for guest convenience. All in all, while this hotel isn’t terrible, it’s not particularly memorable either. If you're visiting the area, you might want to explore other nearby options—or at least confirm you're getting an updated room—before booking here.

Important Note: Be cautious when booking, as there are two hotels within a 7-minute walk of each other with nearly identical names: Naxos RESORT Beach Hotel (this one) and Naxos Beach Hotel. I unfortunately confused the two and ended up booking a different hotel than the rest of my group. According to the receptionist at Naxos Beach Hotel, this mix-up happens frequently. This property was apparently once called Naxos Royal, which is still visible throughout the hotel’s outdated branding. The room I stayed in was noticeably outdated and looked nothing like the photos shown online. While checking in, I overheard another guest at the front desk expressing the same concern. The staff explained that only part of the hotel has been recently renovated, and unfortunately, not all guests are placed in those updated rooms. If you do choose to stay here, I recommend specifically requesting a renovated room at the time of booking or check-in.While the room seemed generally clean, there were concerning details—like a shower curtain with visible mold/mildew, which raises questions about the overall cleanliness. Additionally, the balcony door had only one sheer curtain, while a second curtain rod—likely intended for a blackout curtain—was empty. This meant there was no way to fully block light or ensure privacy from other looking in.

Great Location, steps from the beach and just a short walk into the town. Huge selection for breakfast. Accommodation was clean and separate towels provided for pool use.

The location was great ! Close to everything but quiet enough to rest

The showers we old a little bit uncomfortable to shower , but manageable

The breakfast was great and the location was even better. the grounds were beautiful.

    3EmmaPosted on: 8-6-2025

    Breakfast was good

The shower head was broken and wasn’t connected to the wall. The tv was also not working. The lifeguard on duty was continually asking kids not to jump into the pool. A feet first jump is very different to a head first dive in terms of safety. I ordered one drink at the bar and the alcohol had gone bad. It’s supposed to be clear but had turned a yellowish brown. We also should not have to to pay for seats at the beach given how expensive the hotel is.

The location to the beach, nearby restaurants and short walk to the town center was excellent. The included breakfast was top-notch.

The door was difficult to open until one of the employees told us the trick to getting it to unlock. The bathroom had some loose caulking around the sink and some loose grout in the shower and a bit of mold in the shower as well.

Clean and comfortable hotel with an excellent location just a short 5-10 min walk to the harbor. We had the family room which was large enough for 2 adults and 3 children (each with their own bed). Very nice pool area with friendly staff. Breakfast was a perfect start to the day for our family. It was also very nice to have parking for our rental car.

Finding the entrance to the parking lot when we first arrived was a little challenging with the one way streets. Once I saved a pin at the correct entrance it was easy to find. There is a separate entrance and an exit based on the design of the surrounding streets.
