    Pros +

    • The warm welcome and friendly staff
    • The staff were so Fri friendly and accommodating
    • All rooms facing the sea and partly to the mountains. Morning and late night sound of the waves. Close to the national park. Very helpful and kind staff (Thank you !). Private beach - safe for swimming - with comfortable lounge. And clean swimming pool. Bar with reasonable price and menu while waiting for the dinner.

    Cons -

    • Probably music a bit too loud from the neighbouring hotel.
    • The room was a bit dusty but maybe because I was there late September. The service was complicated, no one came to take my order at the bar one night or to get my coffee for breakfast.
    • We had confirmed and scheduled an airport pick up with the hotel from the Izmir airport. When we arrived no diver in sight. We had a very hard time getting ahold of the hotel via WhatsApp. When we finally got a hold of them, they informed us that there was “mistake” and no driver would be coming. We were now stranded an hour and half away from the hotel. We then had to find our own way there and try not to get scammed by a taxi. When we finally arrived we didn’t have enough lira to pay driver so hotel paid for us and they would add the amount onto our stay. We ask the manager Enver what happens with the airport transfer, in stead of apologizing, he proceeded to tell us that it is not a service they offer and they were “just helping us out”. On their website under amenities it very clearly states airport transfer as a service they offer. At this point it’s past midnight. We asked what the hotel could do for us to help compensate us. He offered us a beer and after traveling all day and being midnight a beer is not what we wanted. He could not have been more rude. We finally got up to our where the air conditioner didn’t work. We called down, he told us we were doing something wrong and that it could not be broken. We called down 3 more times and finally asked to move rooms. The entire rest of the trip Envor avoided us and when we asked again is there anything they could offer us, a discount, some free drinks from the pool bar, anything and we got nothing! In addition to this whole mess the facility is not at all what pictures show. The “luxury” spa was an unfinished basement where the laundry was done. You can see pictures. The massage table were stuffed in the dressing room. There was laundry pilled up and the pool was unfinished and empty. The dock out to the sea also looked like a rusty death trap. And was only acceptable 2 of the 5 days we were they. I would NOT recommend people staying here.

The location in front of the sea and close to the entrance of the national park is perfect. The breakfast was also good.

The hotel has updated decorations and is striving for the boutique feel. It is right on the water but some of the photos can be misleading, there is no beach, but raised sand on a breakwall. The rooms suited our needs; things we like in the rooms were showers with mostly hot water and nice views from the balcony. The included breakfast and dinners were descent and ultimately what made us choose this hotel.

Our traveling companions had some major issues with the staff of this hotel. Namely, the hotel states it offers to arrange airport transport from Izmir. Our friend booked this service and had confirmation from the hotel it was set up. They arrived late in the evening and the shuttle never appeared. The hotel told them basically it was not their responsibility to help them and offered no alternative or refund. They ended up having an extremely stressful time obtaining a taxi for the 1+ hour trip in. Upon arrival, they were given a room without AC and had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. When my partner and I arrived the next day, we were given, unknowingly to us, the same AC-less room and again had to switch. Otherwise, some other frustrating parts of our stay were: the spa area and indoor pool is unfinished and not functional (which is not clear on the website), the dock is old and rusted, there is not much actual water frontage compared to the properties on either side (though some of the photos include parts of these properties and are somewhat misleading), and the hotel to the north is VERY loud with tons of music and families/children.

Lovely, helpful, kind staff. Good pool area and beach (except the little pier which needs some repair). Sea is clean but gets wavy in the afternoon. Very close to the national park which has excellent beaches.

The hotel is 3 stars at best. It is nice and new(er) compared to the nearby properties. Toilets (lobby and room) need a proper deep clean. There were water shortages (could be the municipality’s fault). Food was poor by Turkish standards and seemed to depend on the chef on duty. There is no shingle/sand area for kids to walk into the sea (it is c. 1m deep from the pier) but there is a small kids pool. No AC remotes which made going on the balcony a big faff.

We had a fantastic experience at Maia Resort. The hotel location and view is amazing, pool cool and inviting, the surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed the convenience of half board serving breakfast and dinner. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The area of Güzelçamlı is awesome and we highly recommend.

Although breakfast was okay it was limited especially for western palates. There was no coffee unless paid extra although there was tea. No eggs one day leaving only bread and cheese mostly. Limited cocktails.

    Nice facility and polite staff

I think I would have given a worse rating if I didn’t think the staff was genuinely trying to provide good service for us. Sadly we had problems when we first arrived with the air conditioning and some lighting in our room that was not working. This was addressed, but not something you want to deal with when you first arrive after a long day of traveling. There is not much of a beach set up here, the beach is small and rocky, entrance and exit to the water is from a small dock. The room we were in had a hot tub that we would love to have used but when we turned on the jets it filled the tub full of dirt. We tried twice and could not get the tub cleaned. We also had to ask multiple time for housekeeping before having our room serviced, and I think at least once the housekeeping staff entered our room with the do-not-disturb indicated and raised the temperature of our air conditioning while we were away. Overall I think the staff is nice and actually trying to provide a good experience, but seem inexperienced and maybe understaffed. Special thanks to Iskandar (I’m probably spelling that wrong and I apologize for that) for his professionalism throughout our stay, he was very accommodating for us.

Friendly staff,Wonderful view from the suite,Suite size,Design of the place in general,National park nearbyNice furniture at the beach area (sun-beds, tables, etc)

Hotel in general:1. Noisy place, loud Turkish music almost all day long2. Poor Wi-Fi 3. Only one english speaking employee4. Spa zone doesn't work5. Noises from everywhere6. Maids just ignore issues in the suite, like burned-out bulbs, broken handles, non-working sinks Buffet:1. Constantly running around and skating scooters children!2. The clatter of dishes from the cleaning/washing area3. The dishes is not really clean4. The food is not interesting and most of the time coldPrivate beach area:1. Broken pier2. Dirty and scruffy lawn3. Dirty sand zone full of plastic trash and cigarette buttsSuite:1. Almost no sound isolation, guests will hear noises from everywhere around - corridor, neighbours, buffet, outside area, hotel nearby2. No hot water most time of a day!3. Tap water is salty and in general doesn't feel "clean"4. Toilet didn't flush properly, sink didn't work5. Suite was quite dirty, a lot of trash under the bed

Grate hotel!!!!!The location is amazing and the hotel staff is more than kind and helpful. The rooms are extremely big and very clean. We had an amazing time. We are definitely coming back.

Everything was grate except the breakfast was little poor.

Great place. Close to the sea, big rooms, national park is close as well.

    7EvaPosted on: 10-9-2022

the hotel is very new and comfortable enough. all rooms have lovely views of the sea and the national park. it feels quite familiar as it is not a huge hotel. the beach area is ok even though not very appropriate for kids (risk of falling)

i dont think i‘ve ever seen a more dirty hotel room ever before. the housekeeping was very superficial, forgetting to bring us toilet paper or the complimentary water… not great if you have a small child… the staff (apart from some then smiling and one guy who was helpful) did not make us feel very welcome… e.g. you arrive, they barely welcome you and immediately want to charge you for your stay. their level of English is also pretty bad but you can get by…

Calm, clean and beautiful beach, friendly staff, view out of the window ?

Stunning location - rooms overlooking the sea and mountains of the national park, amazing sunsets. Clean rooms and facilities. Pool area really great with lots of space and not crowded. Food was delicious. Staff really friendly and professional. Sea was clean. Guzelcamli is a quiet town with a few nice eateries and a friendly local atmosphere, not a place for mass tourism. We loved visiting the nearby national park. We had a wonderful time thank you!

Not really a proper beach area for kids (a raised sand platform) but there are some other beaches a few mins walk

    8ZamanPosted on: 8-25-2022

beach is beautiful with a pier and quite comfortable for those with kidsdidn’t try spa so can’t say anything about itbreakfast is quite tasty

wi-fi worked okay only in lobby, literally absent at rooms coffee is not the best one

Nice place. Elegant, spacious rooms with superb sea view. Excellent daily cleaning service. Good restaurant, good breakfast. Street parking okay. Nice private beach, kind and supportive staff. Definitely recommended.

    10BarbaraPosted on: 8-22-2022

Beautiful, modern and comfortable hotel. Excellent location, direct access and private beach, right at the entrance of a beautiful national park, away from mass tourism sites. Super breakfast. Kids loved it.

Wifi is quite weak, it did not work in the room, only at the reception area.

a nice and clean hotel. not many rooms so the number of tourists was ok. the booked room was spacious (Family suite) with a big bathroom. quite small balcony but nice view. clean pool. no sand beach but a decent garden with grass. access to water only from a small bridge.

    - the reservation was for Family Suite. 2 adults and 2 children, half board. we received a big bed for 2 adults and a small sofa for the 2 children, very uncomfortable. when we asked for an extra mattress to put over the sofa . we received a blanket to put on the bed. that's all they could do for us. on day #1 after 2 showers the rest of the family took cold showers because there was no more hot water and the hotel staff sent a technician. he said it was his fault because he didn't change the water tanks. - on # 2, the same problem.- on day #3 there was absolutely no water and nothing but lies from hotel staff. we had hot water problems all vacation. - during breakfast : food acceptable but horrible coffee and not available daily. on one morning we got also coffee with powder milk. a 4 star hotel serving instant coffee with powder milk ? if asked for espresso, it was with extra costs from the bar and it was no espresso but just instant coffee. during breakfast or dinner if we asked for other than water, like ordinary orange juice, it was with extra costs. extra cost at a 4 star hotel for a juice (not fresh but from a 2 liter plastic bottle ). Except for Mustafa, the kitchen master who managed to prepare some great plates (still missing those great omelettes ), the food experience was mediocre. - English language or other international languages ? mostly signs and smiling. I don't know if the staff doesn't know foreign languages or they don't want to speak but I am sure that the attitude towards non-Turkish clients was completely different. the first 3 days all personnel kept asking us the room number at every entry into the hotel. it took 4 days to remember a face. - so : 7 nights, 2 adults, 2 children , family suite , half Board , July - 2400 euro ??? never again !!!!

    3Omer Y.Posted on: 8-3-2022

Rooms are quite new but not clean.

This is neither a luxury hotel nor a SPA hotel, it’s just a hotel by the wavy sea. Professionalism of staff is low, you feel yourself like staying at a 3rd class hotel. I don’t recommend this hotel to stay.
