Ala Hotel is located in the heart of Alacati, the staff are friendly and respectful, we had a great time over there.

The hotel is renovated, big lobby, big rooms, wonderful ambiencestaff is professional, welcoming and very friendly.The pool is even nice.Perfect stay to have a walk around the old town without worrying on where to park etc..

Only the location

This is a hostel under the name of a hotel. Rooms are definitely not clean, no airconditioning, wifi doesnt work in the room only on the lobby and hotel entrance. Mosquitos, spiders and other insects I didnt know about are everywhere. It is so bad that I had to buy myself an insect spray. Spray this and wait for 30 minutes outside the room with the room windows closed then open the windows and wait for another 30 minutes and I had to do this twice a day. Neither my room nor the hotel itself are being cleaned. First day when checking in I had not enough towels in the room and asked for it at the desk. They told me someone would bring it. Well I had to ask for towels again the next day because I didnt receive any. We ran out of toiletpaper day 2, because the room wasnt cleaned nor were facilities being checked and restocked in the room. No ventilation in the toilet, so every time someone came out of the toilet there was a bad smell. Besides, there was a weird noise every time anyone else in the rooms next door or above us used the bathroom in their own room! The hotel is in Alacati and has a small pool but no place to hang your wet bikinis or towels?? Besides during our stay there was a group of pubers making too much noise both inside their room as well as in the garden of the hotel so I basically could not sleep. You can hear people having sex as there is no noise cancellation. If I had known this I would have definitely paid 2x or 3x the amount I paid for this stay for another hotel to have a better experience.

On the whole, a Disaster! Never seen a worse hotel than this!

2 young people are employed as staff. Unprofessional, reckless & unfriendly. Breakfast came 20 min. later, although nothing was going on. The breakfast was zero quality. The cheese was like rubber and tasted like nothing. It was so cheap it wasn't cheese anymore. In breakfast there was hair, eyelashes and leftover sesame seeds. Did we get the leftovers from other guests!? Since the tables were only cleared after an hour, even though the guests were already gone, the cats fed on the tables and threw salami on the chairs. These chairs were never wiped, of course. If you wanted tea, you had to repeat yourself at least 3 times. Cause the 2 children as waiters forgot it. Or they just didn't care. Instead, they stood at the reception and talked to the receptionist. There were no fresh towels. When asked for towels, they said that there were no fresh ones left. How can something like that happen in a hotel for days? Then you have to buy new ones !? The floor was never mopped, our feet were always dirty right after the shower. Of course there was no doormat for the shower either. Nobody felt responsible for complaints. This hotel is a complete disaster !! Far too expensive for zero service. In turkish we would say: "Paranla rezil oluyorsun!" This is exactly the case here. Choose an expensive hotel, it will still be cheaper and more sophisticated than Ala Hotel. I travel for private and business at least 30 times a year, I've never seen a worse hotel than that !! Even cheap pensions are of higher quality than this Ala hotel. How does Ala Hotel base its price? Who writes these fake positive reviews? It looks nicer in the photos than it is. Pool is way too small, rooms are way too small and cramped. On the whole, a disaster! I took the time to write this long text because my vacation was really ruined with this disaster hotel. Therefore we left this hotel early and booked a great hotel.

Calm environment with beautiful interior design including interesting carved wood and huge comfy sofas. Beautiful garden around the pool with amazing birdsong in the evenings. Charming staff who really care that you are having a nice time. Location is perfect in Alacati, close to all the action but quiet. A real gem.

The staff were great, the pool area was beautiful, the rooms were cleaned frequently, the breakfast was good value and it was in a great location. Ahmet and his team were excellent and accommodating us and always pleasant, friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again!

The only issue was that the pool area got shaded after about 2pm, which meant we had to sunbathe elsewhere.

DON'T BOOK HERE! I paid cash and they took money from my creditcard too. Now they don't pick up!!!!!
