Hotel Dalberg

I stayed at this family owned hotel in the late 90's and several times thereafter. The same owners still manage this beautiful hotel located just 5min from the Johannesburg Palace. The owners and staff ate exceptional!

The staff are amazing! The rooms were always clean and loved the location! Hotel Dalberg is just a fantastic place to stay!

There was nothing to dislike. Everything was perfect!

Nothing really

Hotel is right historic downtown. Lots of restaurants and bars. Paid parking nearby. Elevator. Breakfast is good.

Staff not all that friendly. Acts like they dont work there.

A small coffee machine would have been nicer then just instant coffee & tea. No parking rebate offered.

We liked everythingRoom was spacious, well illuminated and very comfortable.Bathroom was spacious and comfortable as well. We were happy to have a large window in the bathroom.High level of cleanliness.Staff, management, and owners were exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Although not particularly rich, every ingredient was fresh and of very high quality.

The double bed was actually two singles put together, but it did not really affect our general high level of satisfaction

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good, the location was convenient and the owner was VERY friendly and helpful!

Very central location, restaurant with café and outdoor seating next to the hotel,; very quiet and good size room, well-equipped; minibar with choice of glasses

No negative points

Excellent location: walk a few minutes in one direction to the river and the other to the altstadt shops. We parked at the Theater Parkhaus: 12 Euros for 24 hours and only 3 minutes walk to the hotel. The complimentary cookie jar and leaving gift. Above all, the wonderful air-conditioning on a really hot day - 30 degrees.

The hotel/room was very nice! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room has an air conditioner which was VERY nice. We also appreciated the hospitality and welcome water and cookies which were left for us.

Unfortunately, we did not have two full-size towels in our room. I didn't notice this until late in the evening when the staff was already gone but we were able to work it out. A minor inconvenience.

The hotel was clean and spacious, it was close to everything in Aschaffenburg. Parking ramp was super close if you have a car.

Good location on our way home and to visit the town. Good beds and working airco. Did not try the breakfast because quite expensive and the not so positive comments. Public parking just around the corner (barely 1 minute walking distance).

Not the quietest rooms, rudimentary reception on the first floor making the hotel a bit unpersonal.

Close to the centre town. Friendly staff.

With being in the center was a bit noisy from time to time with deliveries.

Location is perfect for the old town, under ground parking just around the corner (approx €10 per day) Staff really friendly & helpful

No tea or coffee facilities in the room

The central location in Aschaffenburg is perfect and quiet. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Entrance and the lobby had a peculiar trash smell.

Nice and clean hotel right in the middle of Aschaffenburg that was within walking distance of everything of interest. Staff was wonderful, the man working the front desk was very friendly and was fluent in english and even spoke some spanish. Had a nice mini-fridge in the room.

Price was a little steep, especially considering it didn't include breakfast. But there was a festival going on when we were there so I am sure that led to an increased price for all hotels in the city. Bed was twin beds pushed together, which was somewhat uncomfortable at times.
