Hôtel Saint-Georges

I was overcharged. I was a solo traveler but was charged for breakfast as two. When I brought it up to the hotel, the error was acknowledged & I was told to provide my card information for a refund, but after doing so, they stopped responding.

Secure parking in private car park, comfortable room with good facilities including tea/coffee making and mini-bar. Good breakfast. Very convenient location in the centre of town for shops, bars, restaurants and a market on Saturday morning.

Staff all friendly & helpful. Lovely & clean, comfortable bed. We were surprised to have a kettle in the room. About a 15 minute walk from the station. Near enough to the town centre to walk in & explore. RC Cathedral nearby is worth a visit & impressive clock tower. We were only staying one night but managed to find the pathway up for an amazing view of the town. We also had time to visit the Pocket knife museum.

Very kind and helpful staffs. Clean and efficient daily housekeeping.Great location near to a lot of ski areas.

My room was recently refurbished, really clean and confortable. The staff was very accommodative and they even allow you to take a shower post check out in case you cycle, walk or ski around and need to.

I have visited this hotel before and I expect that I shall stay there again in the future. The rooms are not huge, but not exactly small either. The staff, especially the manageress, are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help. The car park is adjacent to the hotel and is protected by CCTV and is closed off at night (access is still possible for guests). There is also a large, secured bike room for those wishing to ride the nearby cols. There are several good restaurants nearby and hotel staff will make reservations for you, if asked.

I struggle to find anything negative to say about this friendly, welcoming hotel.

Staff excellent, great location and comfortable rooms!

I booked this on our way home from Italy to the Netherlands, booked in the afternoon for the overnight stay. We arrived late, staff was very friendly and as a bonus they had charging for my electric car. Parking was free and easy to reach behind the hotel. So welcome bonus.

There was nothing not to like.

Absolutely superb in all ways. The staff were lovely and you could tell cared about the hotel and guests. Loads of little touches that make things better e.g. usb sockets in room, great shower, warm, thick curtains so daylight not an issue, really quiet even though lots of guess, great buffet breakfast constantly replenished, loads of bike storage (motorbikes too), own car park, centre of town. Absolutely loved staying here - all of this comes from the great staff - MERCI BEACOUP A VOUS TOUS!

Location is great. Book a nice big room with air con. The entrance to the car park is a lot simpler now.

The Staff at St George Hotel are wonderful. We had some issues with our room and they were dealt with very quickly; TV wasn’t working and When that was pointed out, it was remedied almost immediately. Our room AC unit wasn’t functioning properly for the first night, but that was also addressed promptly when pointed out in the morning. A service person had to come in, but it was fixed by that evening! Also the staff was exceptionally friendly and truly seemed to enjoy hosting our party of 5 across 3 rooms. Also had great bike storage rooms!

At Jean is a small town, so generally pretty quiet, but you can get some street noise if you like to let the fresh mountain air in.

A lovely hotel right in the heart of the town. We were made very welcome and offered covered parking for the motorcycles. Airconditioned room was very welcome and breakfast was delicious

The lady who was the manager was very pleasant, accommodating and helpul. The hotel has secure parking for cars, motorbikes and cycles, which was very useful as we were on a cycling break. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Nice comfortable hotel Not too far from the main motorway. Easy to find. Although the reception was closed when we arrived we were able to contact the hotel manager by telephone who gave us the access codes to the hotel and our room. Good secure parking within the hotel's private courtyard.Comfortable room with good en-suite facilities. Great location and and easy walk into the town. Good selection of restaurants.Breakfast was good and there were not issues at all with our stay.
