Somebody entered in my hotel room in the middle of the night I felt very unsecured Communicated ro the Samba hotel manager and he did not do anything about it

The hotel was clean.

The pool area was closed, and there was nothing advised at the time of booking. One of the elevators was out of order, which caused delays with moving about. The whole hotel only had one elevator working the whole weekend. There was no safe available in the room.

It’s extremely clean, the staff are friendly and the restaurant has good food for good price.

The swimming pool area was all dark besides the time. So, I was not comfortable to use it

Cleanliness

We got charged twice at the hotel, tried contacting them with no response or acknowledgment. It may have to do with the fact that we can’t speak Brazilian Portuguese so they just ignore us.It took us 4 different reception staff to find someone that speak English or Spanish. You wouldn’t expect housekeeping staff to speak in any other language but from receptionists should be mandatory if you want to accommodate foreign guests. Very poor breakfast. Particularly the juices were no doubt the worst I’ve ever tried.

Location and the swimming pool facilities.

I had some issues regarding delays in giving payment receipts on check out at the hotel reception. Such delays can be avoided particularly when we have flights to catch.

Samba FAR exceeded many of my expectations. Check-in/ Check-out was easy and fast, the staff greeted me with a smile and comment every time I came into the lobby, I wasn't charged anything extra for using the conference room during my stay and breakfast was excellent every single morning. I will absolutely stay here again in the future.

Room service was a bit disappointing. Multiple days, after returning to the hotel around 15:00, from working, my room wasn't cleaned and I had to request for someone to come clean it. Beds would be made, but the only "cleaning" that appeared to be done in the bathroom every day was the changing of towels and the emptying of the trash in the bathroom. Less than desired, but maybe it was lacking due to a lack of staff during the holiday/Covid season?

The breakfast was ok.

First the fact that one has to pay for parking is a bit odd, since most places parking is already included in the total price.
