    Cons -

    • I was expecting a hotell that would me my expectations of a 8.0 on Bookings and it delivered none of this!! We entered a room which was under a staircase although I had written that we wanted a bright and light room. The room was extraordinary bare with no charm at all. The bed was too short for my husband of 1.80 cm. The bathroom was completely unsofisticated, and met handicap standards which we never asked for. The garden which was reviewed as beautiful garden looked more like a dried out dogpound, and to top it off the railroad ran behind the garden.
    • Room was a €50 room priced at €121!Bedroom (billed as ‘confort chambre double’ had no windows, so was a cell. No fresh air!Bed too low and uncomfortable Just one very uncomfortable chair between two people.Beverage making facility had two teabags, no coffee, no milk. Two cups, no glasses, so water drinking out of cardboard mugs.Dinner had to be served early (19.00 hrs) to suit them. Only one other couple dining on a Saturday night. So, all over by 21.00 and back to the cell.
    • Location was a bit far from centre. Food in the restaurant, though good, was very limited.

    Personal, very friendly , location

The beds… really too old, not comfortable at all

    10SarahPosted on: 8-30-2023

The staff went out of their way to help, the swimming pool was just perfect and the room was large and well equipped. The private parking provision was also very welcome. Easy walk into town, we didn’t stay for dinner at the hotel but the menu looked good and we’ll priced, we just needed a walk after a long drive.

Nothing, we hope to come back

    7FrankPosted on: 8-12-2023

Good location and ample parking. Pool area clean, as was the rest of the accommodation. Staff very friendly. To walk to the lakefront or into town is about 1.5 miles.

    All a bit faded glory.

Despite far from everything, the hotel stands in the middle of a large park with a beautifulswimming pool.

Pretty much of a 90s hotel. May be a very nice place with some refurbishment. We never managed to use the room safe and were refused the use of the swimming pool and garden after the check-out time at 11:00.Staff may be considered as somehow rude.

We arrived early on a busy Sunday but the staff went out of their way to get our room ready quickly and make sure we had everything we needed. Peaceful setting. Comfortable bed. Varied choice for breakfast.

Nice gardens and pool. Nice terrace for Dinner, which was good. Room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel is between a busy road and railway so you need the windows closed at night. No air con so I think it would be very hot in summer.

buffet breakfast and evening meal of good quality

hotel and meals are on the pricey side as general standard is good but not exceptional

    4DarylPosted on: 8-20-2022

    Nothing really :-(

The room was not clean. There was a kettle but no coffee or tea. There is no lift and the handrail is falling off the stairwell. We paid CHF 168 which is far to much for this grotty room with brown walls and cupboard where the knobs fall off.Not recommended at all.

Quiet location with a swimming pool to while away the days. Lovely dinner in the restaurant, breakfast good, friendly staff, refurbished room, clean, working air conditioning, clean towels every couple of days, and room serviced every day which was lovely.

Maybe some wasp/fly catchers to stop them pestering guests, have seen some excellent solutions on my travels round the south east of France, would be an easy fix.

Comfortable rooms, very nice relaxing environment for evening drink, and pool etc

We thought that the evening meal was a little bit below our expectations of a Logis, both in scope of menu and quality as if it were a slightly stripped down offering.

    6AndreasPosted on: 6-10-2022

We received a nice warm welcome. We were tierd, hungry and thirsty and were taken care of right away. The meal was excellent! The breakfast served was also made with love and care. We also enjoyed the use of their pool.

The hotel has become worn down over the years and needs refurbishing. The price did not conform with the conditions. Although the breakfast was nice it was not included in the price we paid and fairly expensive.

    10AnnabergforsPosted on: 6-9-2022

Everyone, I suspect the owner, the chef, all the staff. The breakfast, the pool, the vibe.

The egg machine has no temperature guage

    8SjadPosted on: 5-29-2022

Lovely grounds: garden, pool, loungers. Room was very nice, as was the bathroom. Special mention: beds provided a perfect night’s sleep. Garage provided for secure overnight storage of bicycles.

It was very difficult to find plant-based food. As is unfortunately the case in much of France, everything on the menu was animal based and necessitated a longish walk into town.

    8CathyPosted on: 5-18-2022

Hotel set in spacious gardens with a swimming pool and various places to sit and relax. It was about 20 mins walk from the town centre and about 30 mins walk from the lake. Both doable! Staff were helpful and friendly and room comfortable.

We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday, just as the staff were locking up! We had access to our room, but apart from providing breakfast, the hotel was closed up until 4pm on Monday. even the swimming pool was covered over! It felt very strange and finding food on Sunday evening was difficult as most of the restaurants in the area were also closed!
